Once again, another excellent meal at Bistro Nautile, excellent service, great atmosphere and of course delicious food. I was proud to support this excellent restaurant who has been feeding the people for Collins for many years, and I will continue to support them. They are without a doubt, one of the best Fein dining options in Fort Collins.

Divine! Lovely evening at Bistro Nautile with my daughter. We were greeted with a "first timers" pubic announcement and offered enticing menus. I had the Goutte de Citron cocktail with St Germaine, daughter had Pinot Gris. We were going to share entrees but I had a hard time letting go of my belper knoll gnocchi for her West African lamb tbone chops. We resisted the highly touted key lime pie and chose the chocolate cake. No regrets--it was so rich and, well... divine, just like every other bite. Can't wait to return! I'm eyeing the lunch menu right now! (Sorry I don't have more pictures, but we did have fun with the crayons!)

From the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be a great experience! Greeted warmly at the door by Kat, we were seated immediately and told the specials. We ordered oysters and wine and then Jenna took over. Same charm and kindness! The oysters (East Coast) were delicious! Hubby ordered the Mahi Special which was sooo good, perfectly cooked and fresh. I had the Halibut which was also cooked spot on with greens and sauce that were fresh and delectably flavorful! We would order both again and again! We highly recommend Bistro Nautile for excellent seafood!! Get reservations as it's not a big place!! Loved it!!

I found this place on Google, as I am visiting from out of town. I was looking for a French or influenced local spot. Looked like it had great reviews! I booked a reservation. I sat at the bar and had a gentleman greet me and serve me, as well. Great wine list. I ordered a bottle. I found out later it was 25% off Wednesday for full bottles. I ordered oysters to start with & half baguette. The herbed butter was fabulous with the warmed bread. Oysters fresh and popping with flavor. I love horseradish so that was a bonus. I'm not into crackers, lemon, cocktail sauce or minionette but they had all the stuff. I ordered a fall style salad with bitter greens, apples, sesame seeds, candied giuanciale and candied pecans with white balsamic viniagrette and red onion. Balance was elusive though. Too many sweet elements. The pecans were halved overly sugar crusted and clunky. Just not necessary. Everything else worked fab together. Next I had a greens wrapped pork tenderloin over homemade spaetzel. The plate came and was SO messy. A pile of sliced meat over a pile of dumplings and a dollop of some kind of balsamic gel The overwhelming smell of garlic was a bit disconcerting and the micro greens atop wilted before arriving. Once I had a few bites the garlic moved aside for a more mustard note. The dish, albeit cooked properly, was a mess to look at, too rich and just not cohesive. It needed more balance! I also ordered a flan dessert to take home. It had great flavor but a clunky undercooked dough. Yuk. My server was pleasant and we exchanged funny quips and discussed music. He seemed to enjoy working there. I left a 20% tip on the total before the wine discount. I got a cold reaction from the server upon leaving. Not sure if it was a reaction to my tip or just lack of courtesy, but did not get a Thank You for coming in or any acknowledgement. Lame! Lack of balance in the dishes was my biggest observation and portions were over sized.

Scallops and a perfectly balanced sauce and dish.

We have dined at several places in FoCo and Bistro Nautile stands well above the rest. Service is exceptional. Knowledgeable and informative on pairings and best selections. Food quality is also exceptional. When you're debating whether the scallops are 4 star or five, life is pretty damn good. We had the oysters, salad, and swordfish. All extremely good. I saw a one star review on Yelp and wondered what planet the reviewer came from. We've eaten at several 4 and 5 star places in Denver and Bistro Nautile crushes all of them.

I tried Bistro Nautile for lunch today. One of the owners, Kat, was our server. She was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the kabocha squash & carrot kinpira soup and the crown & hazel dell mushroom tartine. Both were delicious!

The amazing Scallop Crudo. Highly recommend. The flavor is perfect.

Everything was so pleasant. Loved our waitress. We had a secluded back corner table that we enjoyed. Had scallop crudo, the best. Blackened Trout, super tasty and the side salad was so good with beets. Crispy Gnudni had delicious sauce and veggies. I loved that Kat "recommends" wines on the menu. Helps us decide between all the numerous choices. Will definitely be back.

We came here for our 22nd anniversary. This is the former "Fish" restaurant. Same owners, just rebooted with a new theme that focuses on sustainability. We had an excellent meal, with generous portions, and great service with character. We liked everything we ate. Good wine list too.

    Steak. Nothing special.

From the moment we walked in,…read morethe service was warm and attentive, the space was quaint, spotless, and beautifully decorated, and the owners were present and personally stopped by each table -- which made the evening feel extra special. We ordered the Coq Au Vin, Steak Frites, and the mussels, and every dish was absolutely outstanding -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert arrived. The crème brûlée was excellent (you could see the real vanilla bean specks -- always a great sign), and the Louis XIV was incredible, with the lace cookie being my husband's favorite part. If you're considering going -- do it. You need to try this place for yourself.

Service was prompt, we got our drinks almost as soon as we ordered them. We ordered the beef bourguignon and the coq a vin, dishes that were highly rated based on other reviews. The beef was incredibly dry, like it hadn't been cooked long enough or was cooked at too high of heat. I had to use a knife...bad sign for stew. Flavor lacked depth, which could be because it wasn't cooked low and slow enough. Portion wasn't huge, but it still was hard to finish. The fries were fine. The coq a vin was bland. Our plate has white and dark meat. The white meat was very dry, dark meat was better, but still lacked flavor. You could tell the chicken has been braised with wine, and was better than the beef, but marginally. The gratin potatoes were the best part of the coq a vin. We were really excited to try this place, but were pretty disappointed with the food. Maybe it was an off night.

Get there early! We came late morning on a Saturday and there was, understandably, a wait. It was worth it. They do have outside seating. This particular morning was chilly so all seating was inside. My husband had a BLT on baguette that came with their seasoned potatoes. He said the baguette had a nice chew to it and the bacon was crispy. The potatoes were delicious. My daughter chose the Parisian Crepe. It had fresh berries, whipped cream, raspberry coulis and maple syrup. She savored each bite. I selected the Croque Madame. It is one of my favorites, and I normally cannot find it anywhere. Croque Madame is an open faced sandwich. They used brioche bread for the base, then had ham and Swiss cheese over bechamel with poached eggs perched on top. I chose to get the side salad with was mixed greens and vinaigrette. We all enjoyed our breakfast. Even with the crowd, we did not feel rushed. The service was great. Our water was kept filled throughout. I would definitely go back. Next time I want to check out the bakery portion.

We have eaten twice at The Emporium now; last Thanksgiving (2025) and Christmas dinner (at noon)…read more My wife and I used to go to The Broadmoor for Sunday Brunch, but they lost us last year after an abysmal meal. Adding insult to injury, no one seemed to care when I spoke to management about it. The review for The Emporium is much better because 1) It's IN FORT COLLINS, and 2) The manager, "Michael", is somone who cares. On both occasions there were a few things "off" about the meal. On Christmas day, the sea bass was dry. I felt bad for the poor sea bass that gave its life for a meal, only to have it prepared and served without a white sauce. This is a small complaint though, because everything else, from the silver chafing dishes to the spotless tablecloths and napkins, was top notch! On Thanksgiving Day, the place was PACKED. This time around, the collection of locals was rather sparse. I suspect this was because of the way the meal was priced the first time. On Thanksgiving, I felt positively gouged. There was a 20% service charge added for the servers, and a 3% service charge for the unseen "people in the back". Keep in mind that this was a buffet, which, if a mandatory tip is required, usually garners 10%, mainly because the servers' job is minimal. I certainly would NOT be expected to pay the busboy's salary! As you might imagine, an unexpected, mandatory tip of 23% left a bitter taste in this ex-waiter's/business owner's mouth, especially since the dinner was $75 each. I believe that if management cannot pay their "back people" decent wages, the perhaps the situation should be reevaluated. Nonetheless, we went back for Christmas dinner. The carving station at the end of the chafing dishes was nice . . . the ham was tender and moist, and the filet mignon (this time) was, as well. On Thanksgiving, the filets more closely resembled shoe leather. I worked at a country club for at one time, and they had many more chefs, I would imagine, than The Emporium had. Plenty of professionals paying attention to details makes sure that sort of thing doesn't happen. There was plenty of food, though. The potatoes with onions (or, was it the mac and cheese?) was disappointing, as there was no onion flavor to be found. They were "OK", though. I just didn't have seconds. The manager, "Michael", came to our table on both counts, after I mentioned to our server (who asked "How is everything?"). I regretted saying anything the second time, because the sea bass was such a small part of our meal. As I told Michael though, "If you are not aware of a problem, you cannot fix it". He totally agreed, and as a good manger will do, took it in stride. One other bright spot was "Hannah", who assisted me by taking a photo of our party in front of their bee-yoo-ti-ful Christmas tree. I will include the photo, just you can see the tree and winding staircase. Hopefully, they will have another brunch soon, maybe at Easter, so we can enjoy another delicious meal served at a local restaurant!
