First…read moreand foremost, when one receives a rental through an insurance company, the car insurance from the client's car is transferred to the rental car. Therefore, there is absolutely no need to have a separate insurance from Enterprise added to the rental. Through pressure sale, I was asked to pay $20 per day to cover the rental car bumper to bumper on top of what the Personal insurance company was already covering. I called the office at Aerowood and explained that it was not fair to be charged insurance when the insurance company was already covering it. They told me that I had signed for it and therefore I was going to be charged. They said that they would talk to the management and then call me back, but they never did. I had the rental car from April 9 to April 16 which is 6 days, but they charged me $358 for insurance instead of 8 days at $20 per day.

From the moment we arrived, she was very rude to me and my gf and spoke to my bf with an entirely different positive attitude. We only needed the car for one day and she wouldn't specify what time they closed the 31st being it was New Year's Eve. She was not being straight forward with the time which prevented us from keeping the car longer. Today we returned the car and worked with someone else who was extremely helpful and had a great customer service attitude towards my friends and I.

hello, my name is Bill May and I was the very first AZ driver to work for Danny Colagacomo at GX…read moreTransport in Mississauga, Ontario. At that time GX only had one tractor which was a single axle freightliner Sterling day cab. As time passed GX Transport hired two outside brokers to haul shipment down the eastern seaboard and also to and from Richmond B.C. of which I also purchased a 1998 Volvo 670 highway tractor. Danny hired a driver to drive my rig and I continued to do all local pick up and deliveries with the company owned day cab. I was also responsible for picking out a fleet of used trailers up in Vaughan , Ontario for Danny which he purchased. If you want a solid mature company to work for whom will ensure that you are fully trained with ongoing training, receive your paychecks on time without delay and an upper management whom are willing to take time to work with you and also converse with you, then GX Transport is definetly the company you should consider working for ! I personally left GX Transport in the year 2003 to pursue other interests. I have been retired since the year 2008, but still take loads out west a few time each year for different brokers just to keep in the swing of an industry in which I gave up a career in engineering to pursue. you will find Danny, Rachel and Michelle to be family oriented treating their employees as family and three of the best people to work for. They will not hide anything from you concerning business successes, future operations, etc. Danny will tell you, feel free to ask and he will sit down with you and go over everything with you. you will never be kept in the dark with this company. The customer service representative, Nick, seemed disengaged and didn't even provide the signature warm chocolate chip cookies that Hilton Honors members expect. Small details matter and this was missed. Shuttle Service was extremely unreliable. We waited 1 hour 20 minutes for airport pickup and eventually gave up. When we finally got to the hotel on our own, I saw the shuttle driver just hanging out front smoking instead of running the route. Room - The room was uncomfortably warm on arrival. The AC unit was old and took a very long time to cool the space, making the first few hours of our stay unpleasant. Throughout the night the AC made noises, hardly could get sleep. In addition the cleaning lady knocked on the room at 10:20 AM, which check out was not till 12:00 noon which interrupted our sleep when we were able to get some. Upon checking out, the front desk lady just asked us to place the key in a box when asked about the shuttle to the airport, she asked if we booked it? I then asked her if we needed to and she said take a seat and because it won't be till 12:20pm. Such horrible experience. I booked the hotel last minute and was the cheapest at the time and this is probably why! Overall, between the poor service, lack of basic Hilton standards, and shuttle issues, this stay did not meet the DoubleTree name. I would not return.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly and pleasant, from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping. The front desk folks, in particular, were generous with the warm cookies. Our room on the top floor was quiet and peaceful. The king-size bed was soft, and the pillows were perfect. The walk-in shower offered plenty of hot water, albeit a little weak with the water-saving shower head. The provided shuttle took us quickly to and from the nearby airport. It was about a ten to fifteen-minute trip each way. Should the need arise again to stay near Pearson Airport, we will look to return.

Louisa is magic…read more She's the Sales Manager at SW Hotel Toronto Airport. And. She. Is. Magic. Seriously. She may be my favorite Ontarian (not including my wife). Every interaction with her over the last few months has been amazing. She's kind, personable, clear about what's offered, honest about what's not, and helpful about assisting with anything (within reason) that she can help with. I was a little reticent to use SW Hotel when I first saw the place. From the outside, there's really not a whole lot going for it, because it used to be another hotel, which Sandman Hotels had purchased. Stepping inside, I was surprised to discover that the design and layout is drastically nicer than what the outside and parking lot would suggest. The rooms (I've stayed here multiple times now) are also nice, and include either a King-sized bed (in a bedroom, along with a convertible sofa bed in the living room area) or two Queen-sized beds (with a convertible sofa bed). All of the standard amenities are included (fridge, microwave, etc.) and the bathrooms (washrooms, whatever) are nice and clean as well. The pictures on some popular travel websites appear to be very dated compared to what I was offered during my stays. Also, many of the reviews (on some popular travel websites) are unfairly harsh and whiny. Louisa did mention that renovations are happening and they're tackling it floor by floor, which would suggest that certain floors may not be as modern and aesthetically up to date as others, but other than some design choices, everything is likely the same. I know the 9th floor isn't that great, but the 2nd, and 6th floors were nice. They have breakfast available. It's like... $6-7. I can't vouch for it. Even when it was made available to me, I didn't get a chance to eat it. All things considered, for the price ($80-100 depending on various factors), this is a very nice place. The excellent service that I've received from Louisa and team has only solidified my positive feelings about SW Hotel. I can only imagine that it will become nicer as the renovations continue. I was already a fan of SW Hotel before my interactions with Louisa. Now I'm bordering on becoming like an irrational Justin Bieber fan where SW Hotel can do no wrong. P. S. The pool and fitness center are pretty decent.
