I had the worst haircut ever from here. The woman cutting my hair (don't know her name. She had an anatomical heart tattoo on her chest) did not listen to a word I said and did not give me what I wanted. I could not stop complaining about it when I came home and I almost cried. I went back to fix it, told them my story and they STILL charged me *FULL PRICE* to fix it (no I am not exaggerating) even though I was in the day before and try tried telling me I was in there a "week" before. I was really disappointed this last time I went to this Bishop's. Usually when I go in and get it cut, they do a fine job but this time the guy cut my hair way too short and it was so sloppy. Where I had specified that I wanted my hair trimmed to my cheekbones, he cut it up above my eyebrows and left the back really messy and at really weird lengths, which looks even worse because my cowlick makes that hair stand straight up (which is why I wanted to keep it long). He also left one sideburn longer than the other, tufts at the nape of my neck, and my hairline back there is really uneven. Considering he charged me $35 for the whole mess, I'm extremely dissatisfied. I think in the future, I'll go somewhere else or at least to a different stylist to maintain my undercut. In the meantime, I'm probably going to have to shave my head to fix this nonsense. read more

I've been taking my whole family here for years. I've always had a great experience until Super Bowl Sunday. I took my son and young daughter in to cut a short cut and a bang trim. We decided to wait the 30-45 mins. My sons hair turned out great, he was not happy about getting his haircut and the stylists was very kind to him anyway and she did a great job cutting his hair. My daughter was next on the list. As each stylists became available, I observed them walk to the list, read it, look at us and then they would disappear or make themselves too busy to call her name. It was obvious they did not want to trim her bangs, so they stayed busy until the next person became available. It was an easy quick bang trim on a 5 yr old. I don't know if they were intimidated by a straight line or if they did not want to take a low $ trim and pass up a large $ cut, but the entire place cleared of stylists until there was only one left who was forced to call her name. I asked her to cut about a 1/2 in or less above the eyebrow. She cut an uneven line all the way up to the hairline. Most people trim a little at a time so there is room for error fixing and we move up the forehead to a length that works. This woman chopped it so short that as she was trying to even it out it was ridiculously short so I just said they were perfect like that, I tipped both stylists and we left. I'm not mad at the woman who chopped off my daughters bangs. I won't let her do it again and I wouldn't recommend anyone getting a bang trim from her but she was polite and very nice to my daughter. Mistakes happen. I'm more offended and upset by the other stylists that avoided us and pretended to be to busy to trim her bangs. I was embarrassed as a customer. There is no way everyone had a lunch break at the same time. It was obvious we were being avoided. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this location and had any of the original stylists been there we would have been treated like family as always. This time I felt very out of place and I wish I wouldn't have gone in. I'm debating whether we will go back. There are plenty of places to get a haircut. I don't want to pay to be treated like that again. read more

Aundi at Bishop C & C colored my hair last week and it still looks amazing. She really took the time to get my hair exactly the way I wanted. I have been to alot of places in the last year and I think I found my girl. I felt like she really listened to me and it gave me comfort to know she actually cared. Thanks Aundi !!! Those girls CANNOT fade at all. After hair cut it looked like they put a bowl on my head and cut around it. I pointed the lines out and she said she will try to fade it more. It was so visible it is imposible not to see it. After she tried to fix it is still there. Never again and its $18, WORTHLESS!!! read more

To my surprise I was greeted by 3 woman whom seemed less than excited to have a new client. I kept a positive attitude and was assigned a hair dresser whom I could tell was new. Knowing that everyone has to start somewhere I didn't mention my concern and proceeded to tell her what I'd like done . Apparently my vision and hers were miles apart or it was just a complete lack of experience on her part. After vocalizing my concerns regarding continuing the already less than par cut.. I was approached by another "artist" who clearly had an inhibility to listen and work with a client . After asking her if she understood what I was asking for , the head IDGAF stylist chimed in with less than helpful comments. After this lovely experience I decided to thank them for their time and take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend any of the stylist there today. All in all it was a terrible experience. A little customer service goes a long way and these ladies simply could care less. Thanks! read more

I have tried to like it. But I end up waiting forever. 1st time was 30 min, the next two times was closer to an hour wait. That last visit, I waited close to an hour, and then the girl goes on break before she sees me. She comes back in and I get in the chair, and she is REEKING of cigarette smoke. About killed me. I was trapped. That was it...never again. I am done. I tried. Just not a good fit. All three times, the actual hair cut was so-so. But the wait and the smell of that smoke..killed my desire to go back. read more

I have never had a bad experience at a Bishops...until this weekend. I brought in a picture of what I wanted including pictures of the colors I wanted. I wanted an ombre like hairstyle with purple roots and strawberry ends. Most of the cut would have lighter ends. Everybody there seemed really excited about the style and even took a before picture to put on the website. I normally have lighter hair so the stylist decided not to use bleach or any kind of lightener. When she washed the color out of my hair I took one look in the mirror and became really silent. My hair looked black all over. It is a really dark purple which is a pretty color, but it is nowhere near what I wanted. It actually looks like I have lighter hair at the roots and darker hair at the tips. I had an out of body experience as I was paying the bill but was completely shaking on the inside. Needless to say, they didn't take an "After" picture. My boyfriend went back in to try and get some sort of justice (or at least a refund) for ruining my hair. Because I signed the release, they wouldn't do it, but I was able to get partial credit back because it doesn't even look like there are two colors in my hair. It looks like a bad box dye job. This is the first time I've been to a salon in years and spent so much money to feel pretty. Now I just feel like a walking Pinterest fail. I will never go to a Bishops again. Oh and on top of that, I traveled 80 miles each way just to go to a Bishops. Never again. What a complete waste of money. Note to all stylists: if you can't do what the person wants, don't attempt it. The customer will wait for someone who can. read more

This place is horrible. I walked in looking to go from long to short hair and do some coloring. Knowing full well I was going to spend some coin. The estimate was $115-135, no problem. I sat down in the chair and tried to explain what I wanted. All the while the stylist seemed to be getting more and more agitated. She did 2 snips of my hair and put her scissors down and said "I have take a break for a minute before I start a job this big", and walked outside and had a smoke. She came back in gave me a horrible cut, then told me it was her last day so she was passing me off to someone else to do my color. The new girl was actually alot nicer and did a good job on my color so i tipped her 25%. I hope she did not give the first girl any of that tip. I was not offered a beer when I was waiting like ALL of the men who walked in. Nor was i talked to as much. This shop is a gossip fest with girls that do not appear to treat women the same as their male clients. I will never go back. Just felt like for $135 I should have been treated at least as nice as the guys coming in who were spending $20. read more

I came in today looking for a quick fade and signed my name as posted on the sign. There were 2 people in front of me so I figured it may take a bit but I was still patient and needing a haircut. When one of the gals was finished with the first person in front of me she disappeared for 10 minutes and then when she returned another gal simply walked right in and she took her straight to her station. I figured it might be an appointment so I wasn't going to fuss, however when the other gal was finished with the 2nd person in front of me she did the exact same thing! She left for about 5 minutes and when she came back another guy came in and she told him he was next. At that point I gave them one more chance to check the sign-in and of course the guy who just walked in was called up before me. Absolutely terrible customer service and based upon other reviews I'm glad I ended up walking out. I feel race was a factor here and I'd never give them a second chance. read more
