Jana is exactly who you want to see if you're a new Mom and having breastfeeding issues. Breastfeeding was so important to me, so when we had trouble from the beginning I was panicked! Jana calmed my fears and provided me with immediate solutions and tips for my lip and tongue tied newborn son. Jana is able to provide accurate, thorough, conscientious, and much needed comforting information for new or newly becoming parents. We have used her services from the time we knew we were pregnant and continue to use her services today for our 2yr old. One example I have of Jana going above and beyond what I would consider excellent service was right after our child came into the world by c-section. Once birthed, our child was immediately taken to the NICU. My wife and I were all swept away to different parts of the floor from her and each other. I was given Jana's contact information from a lactation specialist at Baylor downtown Dallas, and I'm grateful for that. We were having weight issues with our baby, my nipples were blistered and sore, and my milk supply once adequate had dipped. Jana was responsive to my desperate request for her time. She can right on time and stayed for the entire two hour duration watching me feed, pump, and bottle feed breastmilk supplement. She provided wonderful advice and recommended products to help. We were shocked to find out our second babe had a lip and tongue tie (I wouldn't have even known what that was without the help of Jana with Bishop Babies) and we had to get it revised. The holistic dentist, who performed the revision (45 mins away), strongly encouraged us to seek out a lactation consultant. I was so pleased to find one in our area!
