Very cute brunch place in a nice location in Frisco! They offer coffee, tea and a wide variety of brunch foods. If you order sides, the pancakes are huge and totally worth it. The crepes are large as well and tasted decent, although I think I'd go for the omelet or breakfast burrito next time. Because it tells you a lot about a place and I can say (24hr dinner food here) packaged stock Canadian bacon, disappointing caned holiday sauce, and thick dry English muffins. I keep coming back because of how big their biscuits are! They're so filling and great with jelly or jam. I'm a pretty basic breakfast person so I usually get eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Hubby and I found our way to Biscuit during the brunch hour. With so many chain stores in the Frisco shopping area, we thought we would try something different. We were greeted by a low-energy hostess, who greeted us with a yawn (yes, a literal yawn). We were seated and immediately blasted with the worst live music. No offense to the young lady, but if she should just play the keyboard and forget singing. The restaurant did not have the best acoustics, so the music reverberated terribly. The server was pleasant, but not very attentive. I ordered the Turkey Brie Panini and Hubby got the Chicken Biscuit, which was huge. My panini was good and the fries were flat pieces of potato. Came here one morning before my wife's hair appointment, across the street. I didn't expect it to be much different from most breakfast places. TBH I didn't think you could make breakfast taste much diff from other places. After looking at the menu, the prices were pretty reasonable, especially with the location of the place. Most restaurants, in this area, are a little higher priced than other locations. Ordered a typical breakfast, 2 eggs, bacon, bread, hashbrowns. I like my bacon super crispy (if it is burnt I am okay with it). They got it right on the first try. Most places will not listen to how crispy I want it and bring it out to where I can still bend it without breaking. I don't eat bacon like that. So that was a plus. The food was really good, it is better then most breakfast places. Not sure if it is the butter they use, or what they are doing but it is really good. An amazing breakfast spot! I loved that the inside was spacious and offered a patio setting. It has a cafe vibe like all of the new places in Frisco but it's really big inside and more calmer. My server was so personable and great. She gave me recommendations on what to choose. She was very vibrant and made my first time here, a great one. The food was really great. Biscuit has won my heart and is now my new favorite breakfast spot! You get sooo much food especially for the price. Extremely good value. High quality food & beverages (the orange juice machine is fun to watch). Friendly and efficient service. What more could you ask from a restaurant? They have the classics but they've also added a cool twist on the classics that are original or take you back to your childhood. There was a wait but everything moved quickly. Not sure if they take reservations or call aheads but if you have a large party I would suggest trying to do that. My only complaint is how the restaurant opens up to the patio. It wasn't an extremely hot day in Texas but it was warm enough to make the main dining area warmer then I'd like. I'm curious to see how it will be in the dead of summer/winter. They also put a very nice cover on the patio they built and even put in AC outside. Now that is thinking. They did a great job. I went for a "I Meat skillet I went this direction so i could try the beer biscuits. I don't eat a lot of skillets so i think it was very good. It had lots of meat. For Me it had a bit of a cooked grease aftertaste and probably is very normal with a skillet meal and i usually don't eat them because i love my sweet food. The beer biscuits are different than a regular biscuit and you should try them. The very berry waffle was good and i will get one for myself next time. I want to add the staff is very nice and helpful. The managers/owners are even better. We had a comment because it was less than a complaint but they handled it nicely and in an unexpected way so we were impressed. You have to go try them for breakfast!! read more
