Had My Birthday Dinner there for a Party of 13 & the Cuisine was DELICIOUS! The Menu is EXQUISITE! Half the party never had Indian Cusine & LOVED it! The Staff were Professional & Courteous! The ambiance is NICE! What makes it convenient is that Biriyani Hunter is off of Laguna Canyon Road with a large parking lot (not PCH) so there were plenty of available parking spaces. I saw your postings on LB Nextdoor and decided to try it out for the first time since we are locals. The flavors were excellent and all the spices seem to please our palates. However, we found out that the main chef was taking our orders, serving us and it got a bit hectic for him and the other staff person when more patrons started coming into the restaurant. We waited patiently to pay our bill, but kindly, please get more trained staff to run the restaurant smoothly and then we will gladly return. read more

Stopped in during Winter Fest at Sawdust Festival. It smelled good when we first arrived. No one was at the front counter, then when someone was there she tried to seat us away against a wall (the place was empty except for one party of 5) We chose a better table. Receiving the food was slow, again, there were very few others in the restaurant. We ordered Mango chicken What they served seemed like curry chicken with a couple of pieces of chopped mango......not good, not fruity. And $23 for a modest portion. Very delicious Biryani! We had the vegetarian version and they were kind enough to add some paneer upon request. Truly very tasty and the biryani is authentic comparable to the best restaurants in New Delhi. And it comes with salad, raita and dessert so one order is a complete meal for two! We ate on a pleasant outdoor patio on tables with cloths and napkins. We were served goat biryani, chicken curry, vegetable pakora, and garlic naan. Service was excellent, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Before dinner, we were given an unusual but great snack that tasted and looked a bit like popcorn, except each kernel was a single smooth and round sphere. Fantastic Indian restaurant in Laguna Canyon! The decor was immaculate and you could tell all the dishes were freshly made with care and attention to detail. We had chicken tandoori, tikka masala, a few appetizers and mango lassi. Would definitely come back. Only slight downside was the $5 per soda, which seemed high, but I understand they probably need to make some margin on drinks since they don't serve alcohol. read more
