I've taken two of their mommy-and-baby class series, and I loved both of them. Each series includes special touches like each week is a different topica mini photoshoot, a swim party, and so much more, which makes it absolutely worth every penny. Carmen, who helped lead the group, is amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always makes me feel heard. She gives thoughtful advice and truly cares about the moms and babies she works with. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. I've also attended several music classes with Michelle, and those have been some of my favorites. My daughter absolutely loves music time, and Michelle does such a great job keeping the kids engaged and entertained. We truly love The Mommy Center and are so grateful for everything they offer!!

Prior to class, we had a group WhatsApp which made it so easy to communicate and get introduced to each other. I love that the center organized mommy outings for us, planned family picnics, as well as provided professional photography. I was never stressed out when I was at the center, knowing that there's a diaper station with plenty of diapers in many sizes, formula in case mamas forget to bring sustenance for baby, bottle warmers, and everything we need to feel comfortable. It felt above and beyond. I highly recommend trying one of several classes they offer! I'm excited to continue onto their 4-6 month old sessions and try out the baby music class.

Cannot recommend Bree or Breezy Doula enough!…read more We're due in September and have already had so many great experiences with Breezy Doula. We first learned about them at a Memorialcare Saddleback open house. We were not at all familiar with doula care and at first didn't understand, but now we cannot imagine giving birth without a doula (specifically one from Breezy Doula!). Upon reaching out, we filled out their online form then received such a warm, quick and thorough response from the doula director, Sarah. She gave us a list of doulas within their group that matched our preferences and budget. We ended up meeting with two amazing doulas and didn't need to interview more. It was such a tough decision as both doulas were super warm, responsive, knowledgeable, and experienced. We decided to move forward with Carla and picked the grand package! See the attached pic for the package offerings, I removed the pricing as it varies per doula and prices may have changed since I last received this. We've taken the spinning babies (1 day) and hypnobirthing classes (wednesdays for 5 weeks straight) with Bree in Laguna Hills. Such a great experience! We've learned SOO much. Bree is so passionate about birth and motherhood. She keeps the content easy to digest and informative, but is also very patient with the many questions we had. Also another point for all the yummy snacks she provides! I also really love how she brings in guest speakers (baby & maternity chiropractor, IBCLC, acupuncturist, etc.) So excited to give birth! The classes have really helped me feel prepared, debunked the common misconceptions around childbirth, and have removed the fear brought by unrealistic situations shown in movies or on TV. Definitely reach out, you will not regret it!

I ended up having Ezrae as my doula last minute, and she was amazing. She supported me through contractions and shaking by helping me stay calm, relaxed, and focused on my breathing. Because of her, my labor and delivery experience was so much better compared to my first. It also meant a lot to have dedicated support while my husband was caring for our first child. I felt completely comfortable and supported having Ezrae by my side throughout the process. I would highly recommend working with Breezy Doula and having a doula for your birth--it truly makes a difference.

Because of the pandemic, Meredith gave us options to come in-person or attend the class virtually, and my wife and I felt comfortable enough to do a hybrid of the two. Meredith was very Covid-conscious and always made us feel safe. After looking up different birthing methods, we thought the best one that suited us was the Bradley Method course. We learned so much from it -- we know so many people who go into giving birth with zero knowledge and even though it's scary, we still felt so prepared. We learned about childbirth itself of course, but also patient advocacy, postpartum care, etc. The best part is that Meredith was still available as a resource and pillar of support when we needed it -- even to this day when our son is 14 months old! I gave birth at a birth center with a midwife but felt wholly prepared if I had to be transferred to a hospital. When it's my wife's turn to carry, we'll be retaking the course so that I can take on the role of the coach like my wife did for me.

This being my first birth, I completely attribute the relatively short length of my labor and doing it completely unmedicated to Katarina's expertise and support. Could not recommend them enough and definitely plan to use them again in the future! The long version :) - My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Anointed Births. We started looking for a doula pretty late into my pregnancy and were on a pretty tight budget. I submitted the contact form and heard from Elizabeth in a very timely manner. She was so kind and encouraging and easy to work with. The timeline and budget did limit our doula options, but she was happy to work within those constraints. She matched us with Katarina Lunde and we were so happy with her! She is a gem! She came to our home for a prenatal visit and was so friendly and easy to talk to. She knew all the right questions to ask and had lots of information that helped us decide on our birth plan. We prayed together at the end of the meeting and my husband and I felt confident that she was going to be instrumental in helping us succeed in the unmedicated birth we were hoping and praying for. We stayed in touch with her between the visit and when I went into labor. She was very helpful with providing information, recommendations for prenatal and labor items to purchase, and adjustments to our birth plan. Once I went into labor we called Katarina and stayed in touch via text, phone calls, and a contraction timer app. She was so responsive, positive, and encouraging! She was at another birth at the time, so she put us back in touch with Elizabeth in the meantime. Elizabeth was also very available through phone calls and texts - and this was all happening from 12:30-6:30am! Once we were in triage my husband remained in close contact with Elizabeth and Katarina. Katarina was still at the other birth so Elizabeth was planning to join us. She was holding off coming until I was admitted to a labor and delivery room so our hours for her services weren't wasted with her sitting in the waiting room. She did suggest positions for me to labor in while we waited and encouraged me to try to rest between contractions. I think that rest early on made a huge difference in maintaining endurance through to delivery. As we were getting admitted to L&D we heard that Katarina was available to come meet us! She drove a couple hours up from San Diego to Orange County! We were so grateful she made that effort to join us since we had already met her in person - although I was feeling just as comfortable if it turned out Elizabeth needed to come instead. By the time Katarina made it to the hospital I was having pretty painful back labor. It was such a relief to see her come in the room! She immediately jumped in and knew how to help me. She had me labor in different positions that relieved my back pain and really picked up my labor. I ended up having an 18 hour labor completely unmedicated! I really believe that having Katarina's help was instrumental in having that short of a labor for my first baby. She was calm, encouraging, and understanding of my needs and requests the whole time. She communicated with nurses as they came in and out of the room and helped me understand what they were saying and suggesting. She also worked really well with my husband throughout the labor. Katarina took some video and photos on my phone as our baby was born! We hadn't talked about that ahead of time, but I am so glad she went ahead and did it! I have gone back and watched those videos many times since the birth and am so, so grateful we have them. I could not recommend Katarina and Elizabeth with Anointed Births enough. We were so pleased with their services and plan to use them again for future births!

I found Labor of Love by doing some of my own research online. And thank God I did! My doula,…read moreKaren, was my rock throughout my labor and was 100,000 percent amazing--I'll definitely be working with her for my second! A little backstory: I was overwhelmed and so nervous about finding "the one" person to be a part of the most important event of my life. After doing my research and reading through all these bios, I honestly was left feeling overwhelmed, especially knowing how indecisive I can be. I knew I just had to trust my intuition and my gut on this one! After looking at Karen's bio on their website, I had such a good feeling. Staci (the owner), who was super friendly and professional, helped me get connected with Karen, and I booked an interview right away! Karen was so sweet and asked me about my pregnancy experience so far. We discussed how I wanted my birth to go and any concerns I had. There wasn't any pressure to hire her, and it just felt like she was already invested in me, like I was already family. I even had her video chat with my husband to make sure we both felt comfortable and vibed well together--and we sure did! Overall, Karen ended up being the perfect balance of knowledge, experience, and professionalism. It was the most perfect amount of care I could have asked for. She was also such an advocate for my birth plan to work out. Before, during, and after my labor and birth, she was always naturally in tune with what I needed. She was never overbearing, worked so well with my husband, and gave him space to be a part of my support team as well. I am so grateful to have come across Labor of Love

My experience with Labor of Love was almost two years ago now but continues to upset me when thinking back on my experience. We hired Lauren as our doula, who made it clear she expected us to go far past my due date as a first time mom. While it's possible for that to happen, it didn't in my case. At 39 weeks and at 5am while in active labor and getting ready to head to the hospital, she let us know she had Covid. Her backup was Karen, who I wish we hired to begin with as she is far more caring and professional. Though unfortunately our experience still fell short and we ultimately delivered without Karen present. We were left feeling like we invested a lot of emotion and money into this process with ultimately no help. Staci has been incredibly rude to us since then and even revoked our access to watch her training videos, sending me a link to pay her once again when wanting to rewatch for our now second baby on the way. Karen herself even recommended we ask for a partial refund due to our experience, but Staci lacks the professionalism and courtesy to her clients. Truly mindblowing that she revoked access to the training videos after we had already paid for them. I would stay far away and recommend a more experienced and caring doula group.

5 stars for exceptional service!…read more I was surprised to find out my health insurance covered 5 days of 24/7 live-in care with a postpartum doula. Veronica was my point of contact/consultant that helped make everything possible. She worked hard to find me a doula I was happy with and was very responsive with all my questions. My doula, Yurong, was absolutely amazing. I was initially skeptical of having a stranger live with me for 5 days but she surpassed all my expectations. Yurong gave me tips on taking care of a newborn, tips only an experienced doula/mother would know. She cooked 3 delicious meals a day and kept our kitchen area clean. She took the night shift and soothed baby during cries. Yurong was on top of it - she sprung out of bed at the first sign of fussiness and soothed baby until she was ready to feed. The first 5 days with a newborn is rough but Yurong made it much easier for us. She's so genuinely caring and sweet, I cried when she left. I would recommend Cooings without hesitation to anyone looking for a postpartum doula.

Me and my husband connected with their cordinator and she was great in explaining things and her presentation. We learnt that as a next step we get to connect with potential night doulas or live in Nannies. We had mentioned that we want someone who is bilingual at the very least - English speaking. Evelyn mentioned that some folks know how to speak English and others use translation apps (this won't work for us because imagine in your postpartum phase and having to communicate via app about your baby needs etc). Due to being in my 38+ week, I wanted things to move fast in terms of selecting a doula. We have been interviewing quite a few at this time. Next day we got 3 profiles, one was bilingual, other two were not. We decided to interview the one which was bilingual. It took two days to get a confirmation if this doula was available for an interview. We met Dan (doula) for a video call and she seemed nice and could speak well. We confirmed with her availability for the next week and she said she is fully available. We were content after our call. Now comes the weird part. We msged Evelyn that we liked the doula and are ready to proceed with her within 1 hr of our interview and we were awaiting her response. We didn't hear anything from the doula the next day, and then again nothing until EOD next day. Finally Evelyn msged us that the doula will not be available because she is anticipating an emergency. This was a big disappointment and a huge waste of our time. If there were not enough English or bilingual speaking doulas then we should have informed about it sooner. Second, the doula who we interviewed 'confirmed' her availability with us and then suddenly is anticipating an emergency. Nature of an emergency is such that it happens suddenly and you can't really anticipate it so it seems a bit dicey to me. Overall I felt this was a huge waste of time for us - the presentation Cooings provided was great but the follow through on an actual doula that meets your needs has a long way to go and is a big question mark. I don't have much confidence in them at this point.
