This place is located right in the center of the market, looks like a family business with grandma making traditional tortilla on site, husband cooks, wife serve and the 8 yr old son is the runner and expo.
The sign says Birria so that's what we came here for. They got Chivo, which is goat, and in my opinion the best selection. Others are borrego, the lamb, and res the beef. All three girls order a small Chivo which costs 50 peso each order.
Condiments include 2 different kind of salsa, one slight spicy and one really spicy, onion, lime, one fresh whole chile and freshly made tortilla.
Our Birria come with a good portion of 'juice', or what they called consumee, it's like the soup of the meat. You add the onion, salsa, lime and chili and that's a succulent meal.
The Birria is very flavorful and earthy, I really enjoy the soup and had to ask for a refilled which they happily gave me a generous portion of.
