Not the usual stop that Parma guides suggest, this is exactly the place to go to have a taste of real Italian hospitality with no tourism-industry filters. The owner Daniele is amazing and super funny, his sandwiches are perfect for a quick lunch and he makes a point of spoiling tourists! His Parma ham is just THE BEST (source: I grew up in Parma): make it an appetizer for a perfect tasting ("due fette di crudo di Parma")! He also has a good selection of beers, with beers from Germany, Belgium and many other European countries as well as Italian classics and craft beers. Ask the waitress, or simply check out the beer fridge. The place is simple and rustic, prices are very honest and the atmosphere is informal and easy going. You will feel totally at home. read more
