This not so glamourous looking off-the-beaten-path trattoria is a true hidden gem frequented by the locals. From the outside, you can't even tell there's a restaurant and probably most tourists would never discover this place considering it's located in the outskirt of Parma. Although the restaurant itself is a humble trattoria, I noticed there were some expensive cars like Porsche, Mercedez, and Audi parked outside which I took as a good sign. Reservation is a must, the place gets packed very quickly.
You must try their torta fritta & the cured meat assortment (prosciutto crudo, salami, speck, capocolla, etc.), soooooo goood!!! Buonissimi!!!! I also recommend their famous traditional Parmesan pasta like "cappelletti" and "tortelli" (I'd skip the potato one..... it was my least favorite). The portion size is huge so it's good for group dining. I'd also recommend skipping secondi because primi & appetizers are enough to fill you up.... trust me!!! We ate so much and we paid 24 euro each person with drinks & dessert. Totally worth it!! Check it out! read more
