Here I am, searching for an affordable Italian restaurant near the Ferrari Museum on TripAdvisor (sorry Yelp) and I come across this quaint restaurant with very positive reviews. Apprehensively, I show up to give them a chance and I was so happy I did. We were greeted by a lovely woman who was happy to engage with us and our terrible Italian. She gave us a large basket of bread with olive oil and parmesan and we ordered a carafe of their house red (which in Italy is as good as any wine you'd order in the US). They had a wonderful selection of fresh pastas, one better than the next and I was in heaven eating their delicate gnocchi. For dessert, she insisted we try their panna cotta, which is a dessert I don't usually enjoy but this one was incredible. Super smooth and covered with fresh berries. It was the breathtaking lunch you'd hope to encounter in a small Tuscan town. read more
