In a dental/medical office, it goes a long way. Talking to Dr. Boggan was, as always, a huge pleasure, and I always leave there with more than I came with. His assistant was so funny, friendly, and professional. I have to also mention that the service was top notch. This is hopefully one of our last visits, but the information about any follow up care or assistance was duly noted. Dr. Boggan definitely has the care of his patients in mind when he does work on them, and I'm telling you, reviewing the before and after shows it all. I went to several consultations over the years, but it was not until a few months ago that I decided to finally do something about it. On September 1, 2020, I went for a braces consultation here. I knew that Birmingham Orthodontics does same day braces so I had my teeth cleaned by my general dentist a couple weeks prior. At the consultation, I had X-rays, pictures, and an examination of my teeth. After that, the orthodontist told me I was a good candidate for braces. He also said I could get my braces same day, which I chose to do. I paid and then I got my braces on. It was an easy process. I was not in any pain during or after the braces being installed. I have been back twice since my braces were initially installed. Each time, the staff has taken precautions for Covid-19 and has been prompt and professional. When I ask questions, they have been answered. My treatment so far has been great! My teeth are moving well! I'm looking forward to this journey to straighter teeth. I was…read moreactually amazed that the top braces went on my daughter in a matter of minutes... we have to wait on the bottoms due to top needs more work. The orthodontist we had was a very nice older gentleman that takes the time to understand what is needed and quickly determines the path that is needed... and if you are ready, and they can fit you in they can put them on right after the initial consult. That is what we opted for... now as far as the "tune ups" every 6 weeks, these are pretty quick as well. My daughter is only back there for about 15 minutes. Now not knowing anything about braces as I never had the opportunity as a child. Needless to say braces are a lot of work as well to maintain. My daughter was not fully prepared but is finally getting the idea. I will say do your research on additional items you need. Like little brushes for "in between tooth paste brushing. Also listen very close to the instruction, these are not a suggestion but mandatory. If you do not take care of these they can actually damage your teeth... all of this information is give. To once the braces are on. As far as cost... yeah it is kinda expensive, but if you need to you can finance them... All in all we are really happy with this place, and I would recommend anyone here to get their teeth straightened.

The team was upfront with cost and length of treatment. Once my care plan  was selected I had a 3D impression made, yes 3D! No nasty goop trays! All in all I had a care plan in place with payment plan and was out in less than two hours. I would highly recommend PT orthodontics to anyone willing to listen. I went home and was in pain for 2 months before I went back and he said it was a root canal. Then I had to keep on going back 3 times bc it hurt so much. In the end I just told him to take it out, so now i'm missing a tooth. I have to go to another dentist to make sure he didn't mess up the other fillings he did because now he said they are "sensitive to hot and cold". God help me I hope not because I'm 2 months pregnant now and has been dealing with pain from his dentist "care" for 4 months. I only say him 4 months and he ruined my teeth more then I did in 34 years of living.
