I am extremely disappointed with my experience adopting a kitten from this shelter. I brought home…read morean approximately 10-week-old kitten that was later found to have a severe flea infestation and symptoms including sneezing, eye discharge, and yellow mucus from the nose. Within a very short time, I had to seek veterinary care and spend additional money on treatment. I called and called two days after no answer left plenty of vm never returned my call. What upset me most was the lack of support afterward. When I returned to the shelter to address my concerns, I was told they were closed, and the interaction was rude and dismissive. Instead of helping resolve the situation, the door was shut in my face while I was trying to get assistance for a sick animal. Animal shelters have a responsibility to ensure animals receive proper medical evaluation and treatment before being adopted out, especially young kittens. Families adopting pets should not have to worry about bringing home an animal that is potentially ill or heavily infested with fleas. I encourage anyone considering adopting from this shelter to ask detailed questions about veterinary records, vaccinations, flea prevention, and recent health checks before taking an animal home. I sincerely hope the shelter improves its practices so that both animals and adopters are treated with the care and respect they deserve. Two lady's at the front desk very nasty attitudes a nice lady came after she left they talked bad about her. Just overall a bad experience. Selling a sick infested animal. God bless you all. Be careful your adopting infested animals and sick .

Randi was great with him. He can be very difficult when touched, as he was a rescue, so I 100% expected him to draw blood. I also expected that when she brought him back in the house that he would run and hide once we opened the carrier. Instead, he pranced around and sat dead center of the room, as if to say, "That's right, look at me!" I truly feel as though I treated my baby to a spa day! He was clean, smelled great, had his nails clipped and had a beautifully trimmed coat. Randi provided a service that I not only 100% appreciated, but will repeat without a doubt!

We had to put down our beloved old dog Wanda, it was sudden after caring for her at 19 years, her health took a sudden decline and they accommodated us immediately and with the utmost respect, and this was during the end of 2021, at a time where even having a human loved one in the hospital dying was not easy and many people couldn't be there in the room with them at the end. The way they handled us and our beloved dog Wanda made me bring the rest of my animals there for healthcare. Prices are moderate but the vet works with you for a treatment plan that works for everyone. Highly recommend.

Booking the Wedding Day Dog Attendant service through Happy Bark & Tails for my 11-month-old puppy…read morewas one of the best decisions I ever made. My now-husband and I were in the midst of planning our wedding when we decided to adopt our beautiful puppy, Oreo, and we wanted to ensure that he could be a part of our wedding. Thank goodness we found Happy Bark & Tails. From our first meeting, the owner, Madeline, was informative, and caring, gave us a clear idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and took the time to answer all our questions. Every step of the way, Madeline was patient, responsive, and put us at ease. We even scheduled a meet-and-greet a few weeks before the wedding with Madeline and her husband, Gabriel, who is also a co-owner of the business. We were certain that they would not only care for Oreo but treat him like their own baby. On the day of our wedding, Madeline and Gabriel arrived at our hotel and immediately took care of Oreo. They put on his cute "best dog" scarf and bow tie and handled him while my husband and I got ready for our wedding. They walked him, fed him, played with him, helped him pose for pictures with us, and treated Oreo like family. They transported him to the venue, took him back to our hotel, and stayed with him until we got back. We couldn't have asked for a better company or people to work with! They also documented our wedding day with photos from Oreo's perspective. The gallery of photos was beautiful and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Happy Bark & Tails for all your wedding pet care needs. They were great to work with and we have already recommended them to another couple!

It was so important to us that our two pups be included on our big day, and Madeline made sure they were both included and so lovingly cared for. One of our pups is 15 years old and as anxious, adoring pawrents we were worried about her ability to navigate our wedding venue and the excitement of the day. Those worries quickly dissipated because Madeline cared for both our pups as if they were her own, and we effusively recommend Happy Bark & Tails to anyone who loves their pup and can't imagine their wedding day without them.

The mobile groomers (two different ones) were okay, but $100 is a bit much. Juno came prancing out of Anita's today and then tried to go back in! Juno looks great and, obviously, feels great, too. I don't know what they do but it definitely works for my Shih Tzu. I'm not a big one for ribbons and neither is Juno, but Anita clipped one to her collar, which was perfect. The price is reasonable - about $40 less than the mobile groomer. Anita knows her dogs! I am a huge fan!
