Awesome aquatic center on the west side that might be overlooked…read more Came Out on a Thursday afternoon 1:00pm and stayed till 4:00 and it was not packed!!! Great size pool for young kids and then transitions to a deeper pool in the middle. I enjoyed this pool as it was not that large as Valley View near Jordan Creek. No lazy River. Three giant slides are the highlight. Diving board and a drop slide. Overall it was a cool pool and highly recommend visiting if you want a smaller setting.

The line to get in was 15/20 min due to patrons signing up for their summer passes. When we finally were in, it looked like a normal amount of people that enjoys this pool, pre pandemic years. All patrons were not masked. Employees were not masked. Ok to be masked if comfortable. Social distancing was not enforced but most people were spaced out naturally. Lazy River line is tightly packed and water tubes are used, so there is closer contact. This aquatic center has a water playground in the center, another pool is the deeper pool with water slides, and another pool with the lazy river. Lots of entertainment for many ages! Snack bar offers snacks and drinks and shaded area to eat. Cost for admission for ages 12 and under is $6 Over 13 is $9 Unfortunately, our visit ended quickly because the kid pool closed after low visibility in the water and pH level was off. It was closed the rest of our afternoon to allow the filters to clear out the water. Overall it's a fun pool to go to, when it's open to all. There probably will be more of these kinks with visits in the future because the pandemic closed this pool in the fall 2019 till summer 2021. 4 stars for fun and options, clean and spacious, esthetically cool looking, and customer service. Lost star for management being unprepared for summer pass lines, kid pool shut down, and no refund on admission after our 30 min visit. (Obviously they had no control over the pool shut down! But I haven't seen a refund yet)

This was my first time at the pools here and I came early Sunday morning for water walking in the lazy river. I was surprised the current was on because it looked like people were mostly hopping along with the current. But after I got in, I could tell this would be a fun workout. And after I walked for about 90 minutes, my legs were like jelly getting used to land again and my back was a little sore. Fun activity to do with a friend so I will be back!

Thats the complete opposite of what float things do! I asked to speak to a manager and asked where on their "pool rules" does it states that. They had no answer. I also said that we have been to other pools and jumped off the diving boards with float things on and their only response was "well sorry that's just our rule here" and my response was where does it say anything about that. Today was the WORST! Within 5 minutes of being there we got yelled at for snorkels. Not a big deal we put them away. Then, my husband got yelled at for wearing his sunglasses down the slide at age 35. Ridiculous! Then, going around the lazy river my son wanted to get out and hopped out of his tube.. instead of lifting him out of the water immediately we waited we walked to the exit and got yelled at for getting off the tube even though he was tall enough to be in the area. The worst part was my nephew jumped in to the 3ft 10in area and a lifeguard jumped in afterwards. The manage had to come scold us for doing absolutely NOTHING. We did nothing wrong. The lifeguard said she thought he was "too little" and he made her nervous so she jumped in. Funny thing was the same lifeguard DID NOT jump in nor 2 others to actually save a little boy who was struggling and I was the one to swoop in and save him. The manage had to tell me that the lifeguards are trained and that I need to trust them in which I said okay thank you I will be with my nephew and he is actually plenty tall to be in the area... she continued to preach at me in a very demeaning way. I said the matter did not need to be discussed more and walked away knowing that my nephew was in tears because of how they were treating us. Instead of respecting me she went to all her 17 year old friends and talked about me. My nephew sat for over an hour SCARED to get in the water because of how awful we were treated. We will NEVER go back and I advice you DO NOT go to Clive Aquatic Center - unless you want to get yelled at by a bunch of teenagers.

The mini me convinced me to take her to the pool and we decided to hit up this pool. Super disappointed the slide was closed today but we did manage to snag a spot with easy access to shade. We got there a bit before they opened and paid the admission ($2 kid, $4 adult). Not that bad of a public pool with several shady areas by trees and canopies. One complaint I have is that the mini me was trying to do her swim test but other swimmers kept getting in the way for her to complete it. I asked the life guard if they ever clear the pool out for the swim tests, and I got a big fat No from the teenage lifeguard. So my little nugget wasthis close to accomplishing it but didn't pass the test because of another swimmer in her way. There is a snack area where they offer the usual: hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, ice cream and pizza. It looked like the pizza was from Pappa Johns ( we saw the delivery). Of course, no food near the pool area. Overall, the pool cooled us off on this hot summer day. I'm sure we will be back again.

There is a great shelter area that is perfect for get together's. There is plenty of space for tables and a grill. It was a great place for my husband's work picnic! The shade helped to fend off the heat of the day. Other features of the park are a basketball court and disc golf course. There is a nice sized parking lot and plenty of walking trails. This is a great location for enjoying the nice weather and some outdoor fun.

Recently I have been going to Tai Chi with Lindsay and when I leave that class I just feel amazing. Meredith on Sunday Yin Yoga has a special gift in guiding you to a peaceful place. I love Sandra's Thursday shred as the time goes by so fast. Kandee Bishop is also amazing at keeping you energized and her format is great for bar class. I recently tried Aaron's for Root Hatha and can't wait to go back. The pool is beautiful and they take great care of it! The cafe is great and people are friendly and they have great service. I really love this place…read more Several types of machines to choose from and I've never had to wait for one, same goes for the universal machines and free weights. My personal trainer, Sammy, has been outstanding to work with. She takes the time to really understand your goals and tailors a program to meet them. Membership rates are very reasonable. I literally have three large healthclubs and several specialized gyms within a few miles of my home but I choose to drive out of my way to come here because I enjoy the equipment and staff so much.

The outdoor pool is great for our son in the summer months. We can take him there for an hour or two and not feel like we have to stay all day like when we pay to go to a public pool. The facility and equipment is very well maintained. I've only done a few workout classes here including HIIT, kickboxing and yoga, but all were good. The kids area is very clean and staff are pleasant and attentive.
