I was also surprised after being a loyal customer with grandchildren, nieces and nephews for well over 15 years to be treated so poorly by the owner. The immediate treatment we received after asking that the growling dog be put back in the house and the email before we had driven a mile was unprofessional and rude.

It is impossible to teach them to be safe without getting their heads in the water. No goggles are allowed during lessons, this is for safety. All students must be able to open their eyes and determine which way is up. Each lesson consists of 25 minutes of instruction and five minutes of “free time.” However, if your student is having a difficult day they may work the full entire 30 minutes. Please remember much of what we teach your child will be learning for the first time. Some kids struggle with one or more of the safety elements, but teaching and practicing that skill each day is very important to help them overcome their fear and help keep them safe. Your child may be very uncomfortable putting their face in the water but it is our job to help overcome those fears. It can be very difficult for parents to watch their child be scared, but please remember we are here to help your child become safe and have FUN! Swimming is a great activity for all kids to enjoy, and I want all of my students to enjoy it by being safe. All teachers have CPR training.

The whole building is designed very fun for kids and they've really though of everything: changing rooms have bumbo seats for baby, hair dryers, showers, etc. The staff is always incredibly helpful and kind. My daughter is 11 months old and LOVES going to class every Saturday. It's a very "no pressure" class and she just has a great time. Highly recommend!

Biggest issue with this place is the constant cancellation of classes. It's not just upsetting to them but as a parent it causes unnecessary stress. Absolutely no excuse that they can't do things like training on the two days a week that they DONT have classes people are paying for. Also, the fact they don't have family swim times like other locations is ridiculous. If they aren't providing the same services as other locations then they should be offering their classes at a discount.

When I called back to reschedule I was told their policy had recently changed (mainly due to staffing) and that we could not reschedule nor would be get refunded. We have two kids in semi private lessons which is $80/session. It is one thing to have this policy in place but another to be misinformed and then for it to not be made right.

The negatives is that the building is getting up there in age and it shows. Lights need to be cleaned, areas painted and the general paint colors are outdated. But is there any reason that lights in the court are out in addition to the stair master area and held the tv's work. The big positive is that staff is very friendly and professional. So as a prospective looking for an all around health club give it a look and check out Lifetime but do it during the busy hours after 4pm to get a real feel.
