I got a private bat for an hour and just practiced but you can add on multiple hours for games or practice. The only wish I had was the automated ball refills haha. I brought some of my own balls to hit as well so I didn't have to go back and forth with the two balls they gave us. Maybe they should have multiple balls in a bucket? Just an opinion. Otherwise, the place is great! They have drinks out in the hangout space where they have celsius, water, cocacola, and sprite. A year ago, I casually entered a golf tournament with colleagues before quickly realizing I was…read moregoing to severely embarrass myself. I had 3 months to break a lifetime of terrible habits. I was beyond awful, never kept score, only played for fun/frustration a couple times a year, etc. I found Lew on Yelp and, even though he was further from me than many other instructors, his reviews gave me a good feeling - I called and we started lessons immediately. I told him about my event coming up, my realistic goal of simply not embarrassing myself, but to treat me like a beginner who knew absolutely nothing - we began building a new swing from scratch. Lew didn't just teach me how to fix something, he taught me why it was happening and gave me a pedagogical understanding that has helped me to analyze and solve my own problems outside of our lessons. He is incredible at diagnosing problems, trying multiple methods to fix problems until one clicks for you, helping you think from a holistic perspective, and taking time to defuse things when you're mentally kicking your own ass. By the time my tournament came around, I sucked...but I sucked SO much less than I used to. And, most importantly, I didn't humiliate myself (and actually made the winning putt for my team on the 18th). The truth: it's not easy...it's frustrating as hell...there's no magic wand. However, everything is always done for a reason with the result in mind and, if you trust the process, you WILL see the results. Lew has made me love the process - and, to get better at anything, that's the most important aspect. A year later - I'm still happily taking lessons with Lew and my game is lightyears beyond where it was a year ago.

Just canceling someone's lesson due to miscommunication on your part is lame and shows your ignorance and lack of respect for your clients.

When given keys at the pro shop, they said i could choose any golf cart. By the start of hole 10 my cart started to lose power. Instead of giving me a new cart, they decided to send a marshal to push my cart, only for him to let me know that if it happened again to call the shop and they would send a new one. Well... it happened again on the very next hole. The marshal was waiting on the tee box and it happened again. I verbally let him know that I needed a new cart, so they sent one 15 minutes later.Only for that one to die on the very next hole. My friend and I were then forced to push the cart uphill cause calling the golf shop was to no avail because no one would answer our calls. We had to ditch the cart and walk the rest of the course cause no one would answer the phone. We had such a poor experience this evening that it's hard for me to fathom extending my membership with meadowlark. Absolutely terrible in all aspects...

I don't have the same time I had in my 20s to devote to the game, so finding quality instruction and practice was key to maximizing the time I did have. I honestly had never heard of Golftec because I've been living under a rock since stepping away from golf, but they were close by, and figured I'd give them a shot. Immediately loved the vibe and access to quality tech and information. First assessment I felt like I was where I needed to be. I felt like I was going to truly transform my game because we were talking the same language and I knew I couldn't do this on my own. I worked with Coach Matt for over 10 lessons and couldn't be happier. We got a lot done in not much time. I got to a single-digit handicap really quickly in my first year back and I wound up flushing so many more shots than I ever did when I was playing a lot of golf in my more athletic days. That was the validation I needed. I may not be able to swing as fast as I used to, but even with that, the scores started dropping, and the quality of shots I was hitting was another level up, even from when I played my best at a 5 handicap at 25. Beyond that though, I have so much more knowledge of where my problems lie. Like most people, I can't bring my swing coach with me on the course every time I play, so when things go sideways, I need to be able to assess and remedy the issues on my own, and I'm thrilled to say I have far more awareness of my swing and the ways to get it back on track thanks to Matt. I'm currently moving to the Bay area now, so I had to stop lessons, but I couldn't praise my experience there enough. The facility is great, the tech is fantastic, but more than that is my one-on-one with Coach Matt. As someone who doesn't love traditional 90-minute lessons because I feel like it's just a lot of standing around talking, I opted for more sessions at 30-minute lengths, which was perfect for the way I like to work. We were able to maximize each lesson with quick, concise, and straightforward remedies for me to work on. I never left any lesson feeling rushed, rather I just felt like the process was simplified to the essentials. We didn't have time to overload each session with all the things wrong with my swing. We identified the 1 or 2 primary issues that stood out, discussed why it's happening and what other chain reaction it might be causing, and then we got to work and started grooving the swing change or putting change. I would generally spend 2-3 weeks just working on those small changes on my own, before coming back in to assess the next step. On top of that, I purchased a holiday package that included club fitting, and it was added insurance to know that the person fitting me wasn't seeing my swing for the very first time that day. I would argue, that nobody on the planet is more familiar with my swing strengths and swing flaws, than Coach Matt. That is a huge benefit to have a fitting from your coach! All in all, my experience was fantastic. I'm sad to leave Southern California and access to this Golftec and coach Matt, but such is life. Thrilled to have had them all in my journey and getting me on the path of better golf.

It's not an overly difficult course, but my score wasn't great--especially because the greens were quite challenging. Reading them was tougher than expected. I heard that the original 36 holes were redesigned into 18 holes. One advantage is that it should be cooler and more comfortable during the summer. Thanks to the recent rain, the fairways and overall course conditions were decent and enjoyable. Overall, it's a pleasant course with friendly service, but be prepared for tricky greens.
