Something for everyone's budget. The staff make the process really simple so there is zero reason to feel intimidated. Anyone can do it. My team and I had a blast making icicles; my personal favorite was handling the blow torch. I also think it's pretty cool that they have a female dominated staff. Go women in STEAM lol! The onsite gallery is also pretty dope; they have so many unique decorative and practical pieces for sale. I didn't know glass could do some of those things. Check out their super cool bathroom faucet if you get a chance.

It was the close-out event to a month-long celebration of my birthday and it was the perfect closer. I've long wanted to do a glass-blowing class so when this popped up I was excited to get my friends together to try it with me. Admittedly, it was not initially what I was expecting (there was no formal class or long instruction or presentation) BUT it actually turned out to be even better because it is more of a hands-on experience with individual attention from the staff along each step of the process. We had a reservation for 5pm and once we all arrived, we were given the safety breakdown and clear instructions on what we would be doing, and then we were off! Everyone chose something personal and had a blast creating it with the guidance of the kind, attentive and helpful staff. Each member in our party went one at a time with a different staffer to begin their creation, which was great because it allowed time and opportunity for us to capture video memories and photos of each other during the process. The prices are extremely reasonable, which I love because I tend to be a frugal fanny at times! I only wish the options for the class projects included a few more piece variations at each price range ($25 to $70). The projects from start to finish do not take very long, which is a good thing and bad thing...if you don't have anything planned for afterwards :-) At the end of the event, my friends all had something unique that they created in remembrance of our time together. We are all very excited to view our finished pieces. I personally, will be back to create more unique items for all my family for this holiday season! Thank you Ms. Brie and Ms. Brianna!

Blondell is a treasure. I've been taking classes with her for 5 years now. I drive 45 minutes to…read moretake her class and many others do the same just because Blondell is that awesome of a teacher. She transformed my curiosity for sewing into a full blown hobby and skill. She not only can teach you everything you need to know to get started making your own wardrobe, but the amount of tricks and tips she can share to make sewing easier or overcome obstacles is priceless! You're not going to get that kind of teaching from a book or a 1 day Joanne Fabrics sewing class. It also helps she is hilarious and we often laugh as we sew. If you really want to learn and grow your skills I highly recommend sassy sewer classes with Blondell!

My bf is taking classes there with Blondel and it's amazing. He absolutely loves it and is learning…read moreso much. She can help make patterns, design just about anything and teach anyone. Everyone I've met there is exceedingly friendly and professional. I had tons of alterations and repairs done there by BJ and I'm so tickled. I picked everything up yesterday-- my pants were hemmed perfectly, and she repaired a family heirloom vintage dress for me in a manner that you couldn't even tell it had been redone. This dress was hard for me to hand off to a stranger because it means a lot to me and she did such a wonderful job. I'm even having her use an old pair of favorite pants to make a pattern to make a couple new pairs. I was shocked how inexpensive it was! If you have sewing needs, this is the place to be.
