They were constantly making adjustments to our package to make sure the day felt completely "us." The entire team paid attention to every little detail and was fully committed to giving my wife and I exactly what we wanted, making sure our day was nothing short of perfect. They genuinely made us feel like family throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, our coordinator Avery was an absolute rockstar. I'm usually someone who likes to be in control, but with Avery, I didn't have to worry about a single thing. She handled every detail flawlessly and was constantly three steps ahead the entire night. It allowed us to fully relax and just enjoy the moment, which is something you can't put a price on. The food--oh my goodness. Absolutely incredible. For entrees, we had the harvest chicken, NY sirloin, and quinoa eggplant. Every single dish was unbelievable--most plates were completely cleaned, mine included! For appetizers, we had buffalo chicken bites, tomato bruschetta on toast, and steak and cheese egg rolls. I honestly could have eaten an endless amount of the hors d'oeuvres--they were that good. They even packed up extra meals for us since a few people canceled last minute, which was such a thoughtful touch. And honestly, the leftovers were just as good the next day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We ended up having an indoor ceremony, but what really stood out was the flexibility--they gave us the option to choose between an indoor or outdoor ceremony on the actual day, which took so much pressure off with weather uncertainty. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a truly magical night for their big day. Nice wedding or large event venue with a small vineyard out front. Inside are lots of floor to ceiling windows. The walls and floors are wood. There are good sized bridal and groom's room for getting ready for the event. For this wedding the family gathered in the front room where we could watch picture taking outside. There was a large bar with lots of offerings. For the wedding we walked to an adjourning room. It was large. Chairs were set up for the ceremony. A fireplace was lit up front. Piped music sounded fine. Candles were lit. Along the walls were round tables set for dinner. Following the ceremony the guests left to go to the front room for drinks and very nice hors d'oeuvres. That's when the set tables were moved out and arranged for dinner. Then the guests moved to the prepared dining area. A DJ played music. The wedding planner was present and took care of everything. We attended on a snowy day and the rooms were very cold. So ladies, wear a wrap or jacket until the dancing starts. read more

It's been almost a year and a half since my husband and I had our wedding here and our friends and family still, to this day bring up their compliments! "Your venue resembled Disney World! Everyone was always smiling and so happy to help when you asked them a question." I agree whole heartedly with that. I know I was the bride but I constantly had staff asking if I needed anything, as did our parents, as did guests throughout the night and they were sure to tell me that afterwards. I had even personally asked most guests if they noticed anything went wrong that I hadn't seen because during the day you're just so blind to anything and everything and they've all said it's one of the best weddings they've ever attended. We also loved that they were so organized. As a type A planner they're so on top of timing and making sure everything transitions as smoothly as possible, I never had to worry about anything besides having a good time. We chose BWV because we live in Florida and loved how everything needed was chosen by different tier packages they offer. Within that there's a few different vendors for flowers, dessert, photography ect that you can choose from. That just made it so much easier to do everything virtually. You do get a day of planner and that was just enough to keep my decor on track, and to ask any questions throughout the planning process. With that, I didn't ever consider hiring a personal planner because communication was great and other than that I could handle the rest on my own. Our company hosted our annual holiday party in December 2025 at Birch Wood Vineyards. The planning staff, wait staff, and bartenders were all wonderful to work with. The space was absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy! The food selection was delicious, and the passed appetizers were good too. The planning staff made the entire process seamless and were very helpful with our numerous questions, last-minute changes, and party games we wanted to include at our event. Attended a wedding here and had a great time. The host was very informative and on point. She knows her stuff. The place is the perfect size, not too big, not too small. Parking lot does have a dip in it by the road, so don't turn into it fast, the seal coating on the parking lot can give a false appearance that it's freshly paved. Going from a 50 mph freshly paved road into it, brace yourself if you find the deep end of the divit, especially if your on a shuttle bus. Dinner was great, prime rib was cooked perfectly but why was it served on top of the mashed potatoes instead of beside it? There was plenty of room on the plate. The bread was great. Bartenders are friendly and take care of guests. Just speak loud at the bar by the DJ in the main room, bar being close to loud speakers can be difficult for some. The bathrooms are spacious and clean and in the middle of both rooms on the base floor, handicap accessible too. The bride and groom rooms upstairs are nice. Table, chair, rest area, restroom too. The stairs are a bit steep. The only issue seemed to be the damp grass getting all over the bottoms of the dresses of the bridesmaids when photos were taken pre-ceremony. Maybe add some bricks from the stairs At the patio to the circle outdoor reception area. Plenty of areas on site for photos, barrels, the wedding signs, the stage, the patio, the bridge, and anywhere indoors. My daughter got married here two weeks ago. Everything from start to finish was top notch. The venue is gorgeous and very clean. The staff is amazing. The bridal suite is very large and the two "hairdresser" stations worked out great for the hairdressers. It was even large enough to have two makeup artists and their table. Everyone said how fantastic the spread during the cocktail hour was, and how the passed apps were plentiful. The food during dinner was delicious. The filet mignon was cooked medium and tender. My best friend got married here a couple of weeks ago, and her wedding day went off without a hitch! The coordinator was great with the bridal party, and all of the employees were attentive and friendly. The day of the wedding, they checked up on us to make sure we had all we needed in the bridal suite until it was time to walk down the aisle (which also went smoothly). The food was SO tasty! The venue itself is beautiful--once you actually see it. When we first got here for the rehearsal, I was disappointed from the outside from the street view. However, once you get inside and around the corner and see the vineyard ceremony space outside that is out of view when you come in, everything about the ceremony space made sense. If someone's asking for a vineyard and wants a shabby chic wedding, I would say Birch Wood is a nice choice! read more

2020 is a tough year to do anything. To start the year weddings were banned, and of course like many engaged couples we were in a panic. From the many emails from the Birchwood staff to a personal call from the owners we were assured no matter what, in some way our wedding was safe at Birchwood even if we have to move the date. Having your venue and your vendors behind you during one of if not THE hardest times on the industry was incredible. Through it all we knew that we were blessed to have pick such wonderful people to help us with our big day. When they say you get what you pay for, I don't think we could have paid enough for the piece of mind Birchwood gave us in the early days of 2020. Fast forward to the day of and we are facing a snow storm in October. While it happens once and a while, not something you plan for often. Of course you want things to be perfect, and this was a new hurdle. The venue had the lot plowed, the paths shoveled and the fire places burning. In what could have been a real downer of a day due to weather, it really turned into something special do to their focus on details. Every vendor from our package was great. The DJ, the photos, the video, the cake and the limo. All of it went so smoothly day of for us which really allowed us to just have a good time and celebrate. If you use Birchwood, trust their vendors you won't be let down (shout out to Get Down Tonight Entertainment, Precious Moments videography, Chickidee Hill cakes and Black Tie Limos). And finally, the staff. Kasia was with us from minute one day of the event. She and her team executed our vision for decorations flawlessly. Many times making recommendations that really added to the event or were better than our own ideas. Having a team that knows how to keep a schedule for us was wonderful, it allowed us to hit every important moment with out having to worry about it much ourselves. I can't state enough how wonderful the Birchwood staff was for us. Our friends and family were raving about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was and overall just the great night they had at our wedding. Went a wedding here on a Thursday night. This was the best possible venue for a wedding. Everything from the ceremony venue to entering the cocktail reception with the most delicious appetizers (why hasn't everyone had a Mac n Cheese buffet) with bacon and buffalo chicken and peas and broccoli. This location is only for functions but I think it's missing out on being a wonderful restaurant. The ambience of the reception area and the dining room was very modern barn like and very comfortable. The food was very good my prime rib was cooked as I ordered medium rare ( the waitress actually took orders for the prime rib) mine was perfect and the guest next to me ordered well done. We had my daughters wedding here recently. The venue is fabulous, the food was fabulous, except the falafel was a little spicy and the rice was dry. My only complaint is that the general manager was a jerk. Not only to me but several people. I asked a question when we were getting ready to walk out for the ceremony and his reply was " we went over that yesterday". I was flabbergasted. A few other people complained to us of his attitude, I understand people have bad days but you're running a beautiful venue, if you can't be pleasant then get someone that can. Also several people went to the bar to get a drink for them and their partner or spouse, the bartenders told is the other person the drink was for had to come up and get it. The gentleman that runs the venue was extremely unprofessional and would not help or refund there deposit . Attended a wedding here last weekend and was so impressed by this venue! Coming from the DC/Virginia area, I wasn't sure what to expect out of this New Hampshire Vineyard and to be perfectly honest, if I were Birch Wood I would take the word "Vineyard" out of my name. I'm pretty sure they don't produce their own wines, but they do have a small lawn filled with grape vines so there's that lol. All jokes aside, the wedding I attended at Birch Wood was absolutely stunning. The event space is rustic, spacious and well kept. The staff was extremely friendly and the location was in great proximity for those of us coming from Boston. Although I didn't get the sprawling hillside venue I anticipated, Birch Wood Vineyards proved to be a stunning place to have a wedding and one I'd recommend to anyone looking to book a rustic wedding in close proximity to both Boston and NH! read more

I was a guest at a wedding at this venue, and I really appreciated what the staff did for us on the day of the wedding. One of the children in our group has a complex set of food allergies that are just hard to accommodate. We travel with many snacks and cope as best we can. We had not told the staff at the venue ahead of time about being allergic to four of the top eight allergens which was poor form on our part, but the staff did try to accommodate us on the day of the wedding anyway. They brought us a vegan stuffed pepper on a bed of french fries, and this satisfied the food allergy restrictions even if children do not typically eat stuffed bell peppers. We appreciate them making an effort on accommodating our allergies. read more

Had my wedding here recently and it is a beautiful venue the food was awesome everything was great my only complaint was the general manager of whom I didn't meet or know about until the day before my wedding I now feel that was on purpose they hide him till last minute. If I had known that was who would be the person I was dealing with I honestly don't know if I would have gotten married here. He was extremely rude and from the moment I met him it got worse and worse. He acted more like a drill Sargent then a manager he made rude comments to several people my wedding party including my mother when she asked about our entrance before we all walked down the isle his reply was "we went over that yesterday" in a very rude unprofessional voice. I had guests coming up to me at the wedding complaining about him asking why he was so mean and rude. We booked an out of state wedding at Birch Wood Vineyards 3 months before the wedding date and there was never a stressful moment. The venue is stunning and all our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the venue, food (especially the mashed potato martini bar), and staff were! Additionally, we went with the preferred vendors and that was a tremendous help because the vendors were top notch and all had worked together (and at the venue) countless times. This made a huge difference - they coordinated with each other flawlessly so they all knew when something was about to happen and were prepared for it! From having a virtual tour with BWV to reviewing their packages to customizing the event to be what we want it to be, to answering my dozens of emails with what I always thought were the "last questions I had", my experience has been amazing with the BWV team and Shannon was there and never made us felt like a bother regardless of what time our questions were emailed to her! At the drop-off meeting the day before the wedding, Kasia, the assistant GM and our day of manager answered the remaining questions we had and walked us and our family/bridal party through what to expect the day of. She also reminded us to have fun and boy did we! On the actual wedding day, Kasia and Sarah were available all day to both Gary and I and helped us with all the details - timing, chuppah floral placements, bustling my dress, making sure we had enough food and drinks, updating us on timing, fixing my dress, packing up all our belongings for us, I could go on and on and on and on!!! I never had to wonder what was happening next and as far as I know - nothing went wrong - or if it did, Kasia and Sarah handled it!! I also had multiple people throughout the night tell me how kind and attentive the staff were and how good the food was - a HUGE thank you to Kasia and team!!! I had my wedding here recently and I cannot say enough nice things about the venue and the staff! The venue is very nice with a rustic feel. It's well laid out and my guests really appreciated that there is a whole room with seating for the cocktail hour. While the venue itself was really great, what out-shined even the event space was the incredible attentiveness and professionalism of the staff. From the early planning stages all the way through execution, the staff truly functioned as bona fide wedding planners helping to organize the vendors and keep the event on track. I especially appreciated that the venue had us fill out drink orders for the wedding party so they could bring us drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres out in the vineyard while we were all taking pictures. Combined with the staff members that they dedicated to helping arrange the wedding dress and support the photographers, we got our photos done quickly were back inside and able to join our guests for a bit of the cocktail hour before the festivities kicked off. The Birch Wood team guided us through the entire wedding process with so much support and advice. Kasia and Melisa were always so prompt with responding to emails and making sure I never felt lost during the planning process. I always felt confident that I could trust them to take care of everything and bring my wedding vision to life! I can't even begin to describe how gorgeous the venue is, especially in the summer months. Our wedding was in July, and between the amazing blooming flowers and the grape vines, we could not have pictured a more beautiful backdrop for our outside ceremony. Their reception room is so gorgeous and has that perfect rustic romantic feel to it. Their bridal suite is also to die for! It is so gorgeous and bright, which was perfect for our getting ready photos. Kasia, Scott, Melisa, and Carina were always coming up to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our wedding day was definitely warm to say the least, and it was so awesome that we were able to fill out a form ahead of time and choose what drinks we wanted, as well as our entire bridal party, and they were waiting for us outside as soon as we walked over to start taking pictures. Sarah was so amazing during the process of getting me down the aisle and taking pictures after the ceremony. There was an issue with my bustle right before the reception and she pinned me up and fixed it so fast that I didn't even have time to stress about it! Carina was also very helpful while taking photos by grabbing safety pins to fix my bustle and running up to get my sandals because I was sinking in the grass in my heels during photos! During the reception, Scott was always checking in on both of us and was so attentive and supportive the entire night. He made sure we sat down and had something to eat, kept us on track with the events throughout the night, and was always right there when we needed him for anything at all. I also can't say enough phenomenal things about the food! We chose the filet mignon and the chicken toscana and they were both AMAZING! We had so many people come up to us saying the filet mignon melted in their mouths. My bridal party also would not stop talking about the coconut chicken hors d'oeuvres! At the end of the night, Scott and the team had already packed all of our decorations up and had loaded everything in our cars before the reception was over so that we would make it to our after party before the bar closed. They also packed up multiple take out boxes for us with cake, our leftover dinner, and plenty of grilled cheese from our late night snack station! Scott and Sarah escorted us to our cars after the night was over, and I can't lie and say that I didn't get a little teary eyed when we all hugged goodbye and thanked them for truly making our day so incredibly perfect. We have heard SO many times that our wedding was the best wedding our guests have ever been to. This venue was nice when I went there with my fiancée and we decided to make it the place to get married at. Unfortunately, Covid hit us hard and we lost income that was meant to help pay for our magical day. The venue reached out to me about a missed payment and I stated our unfortunate situation and if we could restructure our package. They clearly didn't get the multiple emails I sent as I received one stating our contract was voided. I find this highly unprofessional that a company can't understand unfortunate circumstances and overlook a policy during a global pandemic. A letter was sent to this venue regarding getting our deposit money back but I have heard nothing. Not surprised!! Do not put money down here. Attended a wedding over the weekend. No social distancing. No masks. No temperature checks. Chairs for ceremony had no separation. Tables for reception not 6 feet apart. No questioning guests about travel. No hand sanitizing areas, except in bathrooms. Can you say superspreader event? read more

My Daughter was to get married here in October and due to these crazy circumstances of COVID had to cancel. Also the majority of her family were coming from abroad and couldn't get here because of flight restrictions.couldn't guarantee a Wedding at all could happen. My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding ceremony and reception at Birchwood Vineyards in September and it was absolutely amazing! I attended a party here of a local organization and the place was very understaffed, Most of the people spent the entire event waiting in lines 20 to 30 people deep while the bartenders were painfully slow. There are far better, more picturesque settings, to have your wedding or event. Come see for yourself, but I would not recommend it. read more
