They were extremely hard to work with. They take forever to process your paperwork. I tried to donate twice and both times I left in tears because of how I was treated. They wasted hours of my life only to tell me that I couldn't donate and to come back another day. I would not recommend going here. read more

Great Phlebotomists. The app is being improved all the time. Donation time for me has been cut in half from where I started due to updated technology and maybe because I use a Squeezamal plushy (srsly, you should maybe get one!). Sometimes the wait is long, that's how it goes. read more

I sat in the chair for 35 minutes after reaching 100% completo. I only take 35-38 minutes for the full donation. I asked 3x for assistance or attention to this through my additional 35 minute wait and everyone said they couldn't do anything to help. This is ridiculous read more

I had low proteins in my blood during my first donation by 0.1 proteins. They did not call or message me at all to let me know this until I arrived planning to donate for my second time. I then had to give a blood sample which took almost two weeks to come back when they told me it would only take 5-7 days. I had to call every single day to check if their medical staff was ever in for the day and they almost never were. I then finally got my hold removed and they refused to let me donate because my blood pressure was barely over 100 (which is still a very healthy blood pressure level). I am a full time college student who needed the money to drive home for my birthday and it was very frustrating to be rejected so many times by the slightest issues without proper communication. read more

checked in with grifols 15 minutes before my appointment with my husband. My husband got in right at our appointment time, after waiting 25 mins I checked with the lady up at the front desk why they had not brought me back to donate and she said everything looked okay and they would be getting me soon. LITERALLY 30 mins later goes by, I go up and ask a separate person and she told me I got lost in the system but that they could bring me back. I was not about to wait another 30 mins just to be set up so I left. I am very disappointed and angry with the help and inconsistency with grifols. read more

This place is quite unprofessional. I went in for my second donation and they wasted my time by making me wait, prick my finger and everything, just to say my vein was bruised. Other places have not bruised my arm and this place does and then sends you home. I wish there was an alternative in Logan. If you really want to donate or get money then I guess go for it but you are in for a ride at this place. read more

The staff are nice and I appreciate the money but I've gotten really tired of the constantly changing rules for the donors. I feel like they treat me like a child. The latest one is now they force you to stay and drink you're Powerade before you leave or you don't get paid. I'll explain the process. When they come to unhook you they give you a card that says you have to wait 5 minutes from that time before you can leave. So even if I've been sitting there 10 minutes waiting for them to unhook me I still have to wait. You take the card with you to get your drink. Once you're done with your drink you have to show you're empty bottle, give them your card, and then you can go. If I'm dumb enough not to replenish my fluids I deserve whatever comes to me. I've already been sitting around there 2-3+ hours. I want to go. Sometimes it takes the same amount of time to wait to get screened wether I have 5 people in front of me or 20. They seem to make the process faster or slower at their convenience. If they worked as hard as they did when it was packed with people I could get in and out really fast (easily 1.25 hours like I have at other places). They're next dumb rule will probably be to monitor how long I keep my bandage on. They say 2 hours but I'm fine after 1. Update: Everyone has to sign a new consent form. Another donor asked what the changes were from the last one and the employee said, "Honestly, I don't know." With the wide range of movies available I'm surprised at how often the same movies are repeated. The other day we even watched The Emperor's New Groove twice in a row. read more

I sat in the front room waiting for my name to be called for 36 minutes until they figured out that I had been there that long. Then they took another 28 minutes until they called me back get weighed and everything. It was a literal joke. They don't have efficient ways to keep things in order. They have no professionalism and have no sense of time management. It is great money but always a lot wait. Every time I come people are ahead of me that got there after me. They just can't keep anything in order that way. Does not make me feel appreciated at all. read more

Most of the staff is super nice and friendly but it is always understaffed. Run behind by at least 30 minutes every time. Waist of my time, every time. I keep trying to come back because I want to help and can use the money, but the experience here is unbearable and not worth it. I will not be returning. I was moved from a chair I was already sitting in, to move to a different spot for their floor. After waiting my time and moving me before hooking me up, there was another person put in my original spot seconds later and actually got hooked up before I did, because they moved me for no reason. Another example, there are lots: someone was literally about to stick a needle in my arm, I was already prepped, and management stopped her to have her go help hook someone else up who was there less time than me, while I am laying on the table already ready. He told her to leave me there partially started and I had to insist multiple times for her to please just finish up and not leave me there to get forgot about again. I can always rely on a major waist of my time, no common sense management, and poor treatment of donors. If my appointment is at 6:15 and it takes me 45 minutes on average to donate once hooked up, there should be no reason I'm here until almost 8. They are so slow it takes almost two hours because they don't even hook you up until 30 minutes past your appointment time. Nowhere near worth it. Again people are nice but it isn't run efficiently, understaffed, and donor experience is not a priority. read more

I donated plasma nearly twice a week for four years in Rexburg Idaho. I had 4 to 5 instances where my arms were left bruised or I had to donate with my right arm because they messed up on my left. 4 to 5 times in four years. When I move down to Logan I started donating at this plasma center and I have barely been able to go two weeks (4 times) without something happening and preventing me from being able to donate for 1 to 8 weeks because of bruising or blood loss. And it's not like my van is that hard to find. There's a deep divot in my arm where I got poked twice a week nearly every week for four years. It's getting really hard for me to want to donate again and again if my arms keep getting butchered every other week. read more

I have donated plasma for 7 years, usually 2x per week. The booknow website sometimes has problems, but mostly it does make the appointment scheduling go much faster. I come from almost an hour away and I'm not smartphone savvy, so I don't 'love' the booknow requirement. But, still it is an improvement over the drop in and wait! I find the employees very nice, knowledgable and great to work with. I do find the money to be very motivating. And, I love that it is helping babies and people that need meds made from plasma. I know it takes a lot to make the meds and it has to be done to very specific standards to keep everyone safe. I don't fault that at all. I'm happy with this facility. read more

I've been coming here for three years. In the last few months the service has crashed. Donor slots would stay booked for two weeks at a time, when I finally started to go again they said they would schedule the appointments, they told me I was scheduled and called two days later to inform me they would stop that and I was back to scheduling appointments a full two weeks in advance. I wasn't going to say anything and push through it all, but tonight was the final straw. I come in fir my normal appointment and now I'm kicked out for another two effing weeks because it's time for another physical and they are booked until Feb 12. The lady at the front said they have two many donors to know when a physical is due but the system won't let you donate without one. Sounds like there is a system to track physicals and I was given some BS to push me back out the door. To make matters worse she obviously didn't know what she was talking about because I have been reminded for the last two years that a physical is coming due so I can plan ahead and get one scheduled. I am so sick of this place and I'm ready to move to Pocatello instead, but they hold me hostage here because they "can't send the records over to an older computer system." Don't go to the Logan biomat plasma center. Go to another location where they don't have their heads so far up their ass they can actually provide some decent customer service. P.S. the only reason there is a star at all is because I can't submit this review without selecting one. read more

Definitely on the lower end of quality plasma places. I come here fairly often because the extra cash is nice, but sometimes I wonder if it is even worth it. They don't let you set up an appointment so when you go in you normally have to wait at least a half hour before you are SCREENED. Tack on another 15 minutes before they have you set up at a station. It's always a hit or miss with the phlebotomists. Some know what they're doing so the prick isn't too bad, others do a terrible job. The only good thing about this place is they have nice incentives pretty much every month. read more

I saw a few negative reviews for this place about not being able to set appointments and having long wait time, but there is now an appointment site and the time it takes to get in and out is like 1.5 hours. It's definitely worth what I get for it, and I think the fact that they made changes people wanted shows they care about being convenient for people. I'm grateful for Biomat USA because they provide a way for me to make extra money for school while also helping people who need plasma based medicines. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. read more

Most unprofessional front desk operation I've ever seen. Last time I went the group of employees congregating at the front desk was so loud I had a hard time focusing on the kiosk in front of me. Screening staff is poorly trained, if at all. And 4/5 times I've been and haven't been deferred for what the screener calls a "bruise" phlebotomists have told me that they are aiming for the scar from the last poke. When they clearly miss the vein they wonder why? Phlebotomy training at this facility clearly has no structure and is not detailed enough to teach any sort of common sense about sticking veins with needles. Super untrustworthy. read more

This company is extremely inefficient and they always tell you it will take much less time than it actually does, I've been there and the whole process has literally taken more than 4 hours. They are typically understaffed and the wait time is horrendous. They desperately need to set up a reservation system that many other donation centers use. Much of the screening questions they do in person could be done at a computer thereby freeing employees to be sticking oeopke and getting them out more quickly. Most of the employees are pretty nice but the whole process just takes too long and it's not worth it. read more
