The owner, Frank, has such a positive loving, energy emanating from his soul that you immediately feel welcome and seen. I can't say enough good things about what a difference it made for my friend, she had light and joy in her eyes that I hadn't seen in months when she came out!?! After a thorough review of the literature and available resources we chose Immersive Therapy and began our journey. We had a consultation with the chief physician and discussed the process. They go to open the door of the room they rent in a home shared space, then LEAVE. They don't even know who is working that day or who should be in. They can't give you any single answer. Not even if the owner can get back to you for a refund. Owner is lacking as they didn't even give a proper response to my complaint I sent via email for the NO SHOW they clearly were at fault for. I waited there for 30+ minutes only to be let in by a DIFFERENT business massage therapist. I called the front desk staff who thought since I was let in that I should've clearly already been helped. They didn't even know who was supposed to be there to help us. Didn't apologize. Clearly didn't care about us being stood up as we drove all the way over here. Wasted my time, wasted my friends money for gifting us a "luxury couples massage" that is clearly just hosted in a home with no organization. Would save your money and sanity on rescheduling/refunds if I were you. When we were at first calling to reattempt to reschedule THEIR mistake, they made it nearly impossible saying all their staff wouldn't be available that day or that time. The funny thing is I got TEXTED an appointment reminder... did the staff not get notified they had a client? Hm.

They have improper billing practices. - sent NO INVOICE before charging two $115 transaction on our credit card. - only notified us one day before, still with NO INVOICE. Just an email saying they'll do it. - refused to work with my insurance even though i'm fully cover and was covered under other appointments I had with them. Stating they called them to figure it out but with no valid proof but word of mouth. It was really strange they didn't let me know ahead of time. The service date was in March and it's AUG they just let me know and charged my card that my insurance wasn't working for only this date of service. I could have just called my insurance myself to get it figured out but i didn't get a chance to do that. STILL no invoice. My insurance clearly stated I only owned $20 on my EOB (Explanation of Benefits) and when they got reprocessed then my EBO said I own nothing. Yet even thought I already paid my copay and my EOB confirmed that copay... I got charge $230 ($115 twice) with, like I said, NO INVOICE. Want to emphasize that. They stated they resubmitted my claims but only sent me screenshots without my name attached so i'm not sure if those were for my claims. They also sent me documentation of for claim forms but the date was literally the date I ask for the forms... which was also strange. Asked for a copy of the forms with the correct dates but was not given them. My insurance company called them and asked for the proof of their resubmission to make sure they were on time to confirm its my insurance was at fault but they have not wanted to try and help by just sending them. It's a pretty simple task. Even I reach out to try and have them just share the proof to the insurance but for some reason they won't and they won't reassured me or confirmed that they have or are willing to do so. Just because insurance(s) have protocols even if it's their fault doesn't mean you should just throw it onto the patient without letting them know. Let's say they are right and that the insurance didnt process correctly. Then their contract with my insurance would still cover it still if they just sent proof and they can just reprocess it as normal. It shouldn't be out of my pocket. I'm still working with them together get this figured out. If not, i'll probably be filing a complaint with the Oregon Medical Board. I think this practice is fine in terms of actually medicine but they need serious help and understand of what is right for billing, balance billing, insurance, patient reach out etc.

They were disorganized, difficult to reach, and did not adequately address an insurance billing error. Because I paid my bill before receiving the EOB and identifying the error, the clinic retained funds they were not owed and did not follow through on correcting the issue with my insurance company. As a result, I am out approximately $100. I recommend carefully reviewing EOBs before paying and avoiding keeping a card on file. Due to how this billing issue was handled, I no longer feel comfortable returning and am suspect of their business practices.

I've had a lot of stress in my life in the past from work and a car accident. Seeing Laurie improves my pain level and overall health.
