I have been calling for 3 days and I can't anyone to answer the phone. They had no problem calling me to tell me that my protein teat came back elevated and couldn't donate again until more blood work was done. Trash company stole all points from my card after 6 donations . Never answers the phone nurses stand there and laugh at it .stabbed me 5 times but only had results for 2 times on blood testing, says 100 per referral , then doesn't give you anything . Lies straight to your face and makes you travel to attleboro then they changes their app and it says it sends a reset pass ro your email but it doesn't. Tried the app a solid week and cannot get into it, cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone .don't waste your time their just gonna lie and steal from you .they tried to say I had an abnormal blood reading and couldn't donate . Then tells me after a year I can donate and calls me and then when I go in they draw blood again amd waste another trip of my time 7 wasted trips when my doctor tells me there isn't a single thing wrong with my blood or plasma .the 2.q rating says it all check the 1 star reviews . read more

I started donating for the first time ever during the $900 promotion they had for new members during the month of February, everything was good as far as sanitation, payments, and friendly staff. On my fourth visit (February 22, 2022) I had a younger lady, when she stuck the needle in my right arm it felt very uncomfortable almost painful, I asked her to adjust the needle and someone else helped by pulling it out a little, but not redoing the whole insert process. After donating 70ML I told her that my arm was hurting and the arm pressure cuff was super tight. When the machine was putting the blood back in my body it was going under my skin instead of back in my vein... this was extremely uncomfortable and hurt, so they turned the machine off. My arm swelled and was turning purple!! They said that I couldn't donate anymore that day so they paid me and also gave me a coupon to use on future visits... I've been documenting my arm over the last two weeks and it is still painful, I couldn't barely use my arm the first week after all this happened and it is still very sore. The bruising is up my whole bicep and down to my wrist, even on the back of my arm! Be careful going to donate plasma... this is the risk we take. read more

Used to be great but under staffed and lack of training ran it into the ground. Last 2 donations the same person missed my vein both tines and needed adjustments then I bruised and couldn't go back for a week losing half my promotional payments. I watched as this same person stuck 6 of us in the same row and called for adjustments on 5 of us thst they missed the vein on. Also they email you all the time saying they need you to cone in you schedule just to show up and be told you cannot donate because your lab is not back yet. Why would the app not be linked with the system so they don't waste people's time. read more

This place used to be great until the Japanese bought it. They screwed it up like not having enough staff. It takes entirely too long for the money you get for donating. The best thing would be someone to buy it from the Japanese company that bought it and get back to the way it was. They rarely answer the phone so don't bother calling and don't bother getting an answer from them with lab results because phone calls never get made. read more

Well I've been a Donor for 6 years, and now I think I will no longer participate...reason, well the wait is somewhere between 1-2 hours and the actual donation takes just about an hour... I totally understand being short staff, but when you have a wait be honest of the time. Every time I come in there is a super long wait from my APPOINTMENT time. Last time was given a pager and told to wait in my car, the wait was said to be 15 minutes. 1 hour and 15 minutes later I'm called in. When asked why they didn't tell me the correct wait time the response was, "We didn't know". Oh, and this was with an appointment time of 6:30am. Not sure how you get that far behind that early in the morning. read more

They rip you off with their "bonuses" offering to pay you extra money if you complete 8 donations within the month, which is already hard to do if you miss a day. If you donate regularly they will pop you for low protein so can't donate for a whole and they like to do that at the end of the month and in between your first and second donation of the week so you end up missing out both big pay days. They are almost always understaffed. The air system keeps breaking down. They claim that they are greatful for you "saving a life" but their actions prove otherwise. read more

I was deferred from donating for simply asking a question about the COVID vaccine. I was trying to do my due diligence by inquiring about how it would affect me donating and very clearly stated that I had not gotten it and was strictly inquiring. Yet I was deferred and CANNOT donate until whoever responds to the request that was put under my name. One would think a simple email could have resolved this. went in the other day after not being here for a couple months. got in quick bit about 20 min into my donation i felt a lot of pressure and was in pain. the boy that got someone to help me was nice but the girl who came up was rude. talked to me like i was stupid and not in pain. she just kept moving the needle around in my arm to see if it felt better. my options was for her to adjust it or to move to another arm. which i didn't want to do either and risk anything else happening. so she rudely got another lady who was nice and proceeded to tell me she can take it out of me if i wanted and then did the saline. well 2 days later my whole upper arm is bruised, purple and blue along with some big bruises on my lower arm. do better biolife. get new workers who actually care about their job. my boyfriend went back 2 days later to donate and his blood was quiet literally bubbling up in his arm. we shouldn't be risking anything for not even half of the money we were supposed to get back. read more

The waitIng to donate is horrendous. When you arrive on time for your appointment you fill out questionnaire. Wait in line for 20 min to have BP, Temp, and protein checked. The line is long because only 2 staff members complete this step for all of the donors waiting. Go to a new line and wait 20-30 min for an available station to donate. Once placed you have to wait another 10-20min to start the donation. So you are in the building over an hour before the donation has started. This makes it impossible for me to donate 2xs in one week, because the process is too slow. Since I can only donate once a week due to Biolife's inefficiency promotions should be adjusted. I would like to donate twice a week, but BioLife makes it impossible. read more

I'd leave this business 0 stars if possible. I had an appointment here to donate plasma as a new donor for the first time. I checked in with the receptionist at my appointment time and she had me wait while she attended to other donors. After that, she had me move to a different area where I waited about 15 minutes or more to have my veins checked to see if they were suitable for donation. I was then moved to another queue to wait for additional testing (temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, a finger-stick to test for hematocrit and protein) that took at least another 15 minutes just to get called and about 10-15 minutes to do the tests. He had to recheck my heart rate so he had me go sit in a chair and told me he would call me back up in 5 minutes. He went back to the other donors and forgot to call me back up until 20-30 minutes later. I was then shuffled to a computer kiosk, where i had to use my fingerprint they scanned in the registration process to log on and fill out a health questionnaire that took about another 25-30 minutes to fill out. I was then told to sit in a chair in another area to wait to be called by a nurse to answer some follow-up questions. About 10 minutes later i was called back by the nurse who after a couple of questions told me because of a medication i was taking I couldn't donate at the time until i could get medical records from my doctor. Ive donated plasma at the American Red Cross but I can't donate here. Heres my faults with them: all said and done i was there over 2 and a half hours, I still hadn't donated or completed the registration process and it would've been another hour and a half if i had been cleared to donate. This is way over what they quote you for it to take as a new donor. The more you weigh the more plasma they take and the longer the donation takes, but they don't compensate you extra for it like other donation centers. The staff is disorganized as well as the order of things. They could've saved 2 hours of my time by at least asking the important questions before having me do a bunch of invasive tests and asking personal questions without compensation. read more
