There protocol is absolutely NOT customer friendly!!! They purposely over schedule and then a person has to wait in line for each phase. They really do not care about reviews since they have donors wanting the financial gain. An appointment can literally take over 2 hours!!!!! Why can amount of donors not be scheduled to the number of workers working????? The workers are great. It is the process that is antiquated and just plain crap for donors!!!! read more

The nurses there were great when I had an issue and needed the support, they didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. The staff for me has been fine as far as the needle insertions, I have had multiple people and they have all done fine with no issues. I'm sorry everyone else has had problems. My most serious issues have been if I ate to much fat recently and my lipid levels are high. Great staff if you take the time and interact with them. They aren't there to be like Dr Frankenstein, they are people and they do have amazing customer service considering the fact that their job is to stick a needle in you and harvest part of your blood. Started donating again back in December after a long hiatus from Biolife, and I don't know what happened in the interim, but service has plummeted in that time. They used to tell you back in the day that it should be no longer than 90 minutes between the time you walk in the door and the time you walk out, but those days are long gone. I don't know if they're understaffed or if the staff they do have just aren't bothered with getting things done in a timely manner, but donating at Biolife is now a waiting game. You're going to wait for someone to check your vitals before you donate. You're going to wait for someone to come and stick you once you get a bed. And when you're finished, you're going to wait a LONG time for someone to come and unhook you and send you on your way. And can we finally do away with the fingerprint sign in system? I don't think anyone has NOT had a problem with it. Not recommended if you're looking to pick some quick, easy cash. A single donation will in fact eat up several hours of your day. read more

I arrived on time at the Snellville, GA location. The receptionist Shaundra is always short and rude. The employees work leisurely at your expense. No one works quickly. . Always behind!!! I waited 45 minutes only to be told 3 more people were ahead of me, another hour to wait. They were 2 hours behind on physicals!! So my 40 minute one way drive and 45 wait, I left, no donation. My time is very precious. The employees work at a snails pace, socializing, standing around. It's absolutely ridiculous!! They can be behind as many hours as possible, but if a patient is 10 minutes late you have to reschedule. No apologies, no cares, nothing.....This is not how business is done, nor how patients should be treated. read more

Never have an issue when I go here. I get in and out very quick except the first initial donation where you have to get a physical but I had no problem with that and allocated the time. All the staff is very friendly and know what they're doing. It honestly is very easy and you're getting paid for doing it, as well as saving lives so why not? Go give it a try and I promise it won't be disappointing! read more

Staff is personable and generally efficient. Everyone has a bad day every now and again, but there are FAR fewer bad days at BioLife than any other place I've been to. Overall they do a good job and customer service is pretty great. read more

The workers are all extremely clueless. Called before my appointment to see if there was anything I needed to bring specifically and they said no. Then when I was there they told me I needed proof that I lived in my Iowa city address. Then, I waited 2 hours after my appointment time just for them to tell me I had low iron and couldn't donate. Then I went back 2 days later after buying iron pills, just for them to tell me I didn't veins good veins to donate. Then I told them I was never coming back and asked them to delete my social security number out of their system and they said they can't do that. Complete waste of 2 days of my week. Identity theft alert! Be prepared to give all your documents so they have no problem stealing your identity. Even I9 immigration forms don't require you to present your social security card & have alternate options for identification. Ridiculous. Won't take a donation without a social security card. Not good, called and got cut off on twice, then took about 3 hours to return my all because I wanted to change my donation center because I moved and told me i have to come back there to get a Drs. Release because they messed up on my medical records and now I can't donate anymore. I'm not driving all the way back to see a Dr because of there mess up. The whole ordeal was a joke.... read more

Never stuck me on the first try. Last time I was there they blew out my vein and the girl who did it didn't apologize. I was told I wouldn't be paid if they couldn't stick my other arm. Going to Biotest from now on! read more
