Really nice guy! Great pricing and quick availability…read more After the week-long rain here in Mesa, I need a landscaper but everyone I had reached out to was booked. Even our regular landscaper didn't have time to reply to our calls/emails and our yard was really overgrown. So I put out a quote request to everyone on Yelp and Chance replied right away! I was hesitant to go with a company that didn't have any reviews yet but the price was significantly better than what others were quoting and he was able to come out within the week. He did have to complete the job in two trips because our yard was a jungle and a lot for one person to take on during a heatwave but didn't charge us extra for the follow-up trip. So glad I gave him a shot! He did an awesome job and because his pricing was so great, we're now monthly clients. He's also incredibly nice - which is the kind of person I'd want to give my money to rather than a large landscaping organization that's overpriced and not attentive to their clients (can you tell I'm still salty about my prev landscaper ignoring my emails?). Bonus - He also does junk removal so he was able to take away a large treadmill shipping box that the recycling truck wouldn't take. 10/10 recommend!

I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience deserves one…read more I hired MST Services and dealt directly with the owner, Sam. Before hiring him, I specifically asked if he could make it after 12:00 PM. He said yes. I then asked if he could be there before 1:00 PM, and he confirmed he could. The next day he messaged saying his previous job was taking longer than expected. I completely understood that. I even told him that the exact time wasn't the issue. I simply needed the job completed sometime that day because it was important to my schedule, my home, and my family. Instead of honoring the commitment he made, he asked to move the job to the next morning. I explained that wasn't an option because I had hired him specifically because he said he could do it that day. When I told him that if he chose not to complete the job as promised, I would be leaving an honest negative review, his response was completely unprofessional. He told me to "shut up," said I was "very bad at what I do," threatened to report me for harassment, and told me to "get someone else." That kind of communication from the owner of a business is unacceptable. Everyone gets behind sometimes. Jobs run late. I understand that because I run a business too. What I don't understand is speaking to a customer that way after you fail to follow through on your own commitment. I'm a very reasonable person. If Sam had simply called, apologized, and handled this professionally, this review probably wouldn't exist. Mistakes happen. How you respond to them says everything about your business. As of today, I have screenshots of the entire conversation documenting exactly what happened. This review reflects my personal experience with this company. Until the owner takes responsibility, offers a genuine apology, and handles situations like a professional, I cannot recommend MST Services. If you're considering hiring this company, just be aware that this was my experience.
