Sure, Kerrsland is a lovely,…read moreairy surgery, and I only had to wait a miraculous five days for an appointment, and the GPs are all helpful enough...but it is a doctors. Fine, four stars it is. I am fortunate enough to not be a regular attendee at such a place. The last time I went was due to my hayfever, three years ago, as it had gotten particularly bad and I was to spend the next five days camping. At that time, prescriptions were £3.50, so I was only prescribed a nasal spray, despite the fact that the locum doctor was adamant that I would get them for free since I was a student. I managed to persuade that this really wasn't the case, and I also had to fork out for dental treatment. She was appalled at this, and I was rather appalled that she hadn't known this fact. Lovely lady though. This visit was linked to my sore foot, and I hesitantly made an appointment with another locum doctor, who was pleasant enough and tried his best to figure out what was up. He informed he that I was suffering from foot-pain (gosh), and that he would prescribe me some anti inflammatories, and that it would probably be a good idea for me to get an arch support too. Prescriptions are now free (happy days), so I didn't mind this too much at all. Awk, they do do a good job. I just really hope I won't be back mind you. Simply because it is a doctors. Nothing else.

The staff are lovely and friendly and the reception very efficient. Kerrsland members can take advantage of open surgery each morning, providing you are in the practice by 10.30am you will see a doctor!! The surgery is open late nights also but by appointment only.

When you go to an appointment the waiting times can be 20-30mins generally which isn't great. But i can't fault my doctor - she is great. Waiting room facilities are BORING and depressing and the car parking space is dire. The new receptionist area is nice though - if you can ever get a receptionist to serve or talk to you! lol

He was very busy and fully booked up, so it took about a week of waiting to get my appointment - he was obviously a popular one. The appointment itself was very good - and reasonably priced too. He got rid of all the nasty hard skin and trimmed the nails etc. I don't care what anyone says - you can buy all the products you like and try to tackle your feet yourself, but nothing is better than letting the experts do it. If you are looking for a good chiropodist in the North Belfast area, I would recommend this guy.

Blastec specialises in media blasting which is basically using compressed air to force media ,…read moreeither grit ,glass beads or baking soda through a nozzle at high speed which can be used to remove rust and paint from surfaces before refinishing. I've seen the work they do compared to where I left my project car into. Their work is far better and doesn't damage the metal underneath. My car was to be honest done on the cheap elsewhere and the panels are warped with too much pressure and heat being generated and it was done with grit. Baking soda is a better option and doesn't cause any damage even on rubber or glass. After seeing other peoples projects I wish I had got mine done at blastec.

My Doctor is Dr Abraham and she has always been easy going and open which is a great help when you are ill. The surgery itself acts as a pillar of the community. It is clean and well organised. The girls or should I say ladies at reception are really hard working and they do there best to make an appointment convenient for you. Recently I had to access my medical records which I thought would be a bit of a hassle. But the process was in fact simple. Thanks to the staff at Cleland Park. One criticism of the place is that the toys in the waiting room are getting rather dated. I know I shouldn't be playing with them but there is not much else to do when you are waiting. The abacus could certainly use a bit of tender loving care.

I would recommend this surgery ,if you feel your doctor isnt listen and feel like a waste of space come here they make you feel important and i know what i am talking about

On Friday afternoon…read moreafter blowing up several thousand balloons for a party we realised that we needed more helium so we turned to the internet to see if there was anywhere that we could get some at short notice. We came across a site called 'Air Products' and they then directed us towards Ards Rentall. Located through Ards on the Lansdowne Road Ards Rentall could easily be missed - when you drive up the road Sat Nav will direct you to the multiple units at the end of the road when in fact Ards Rentall is the right before you get to the visible units. I got there late on a Friday afternoon and the member of staff couldn't have been more helpful, you'd think on a Friday you'd want to get a customer out of the door as soon as possible but he helped me load the helium in to the car and showed me how to operate the valve. Complete gentleman! As well as helium and other gas products they rent heavy machinery and heavy duty gardening products - in reception they have a whole load of ride on lawn mowers. Be warned this place is rather old school, everything looks like it has a coating of oil on it but I suppose that's just the nature of what these guys do! 4.5 Stars!

There are plenty of GP's and they are usually very knowledgeable. Which isn't always the case. My only gripe, well two gripes, is that the parking can be an absolute nightmare sometimes, and also that they make you wait 48 hours to get a repeat prescription. I don't know if all doctors are the same but it's well annoying. lol. Apart from that, I am happy with this practice.
