Ards Rentall is a handy wee business, one that in truth I never knew existed. On Friday afternoon after blowing up several thousand balloons for a party we realised that we needed more helium so we turned to the internet to see if there was anywhere that we could get some at short notice. We came across a site called 'Air Products' and they then directed us towards Ards Rentall. Located through Ards on the Lansdowne Road Ards Rentall could easily be missed - when you drive up the road Sat Nav will direct you to the multiple units at the end of the road when in fact Ards Rentall is the right before you get to the visible units. I got there late on a Friday afternoon and the member of staff couldn't have been more helpful, you'd think on a Friday you'd want to get a customer out of the door as soon as possible but he helped me load the helium in to the car and showed me how to operate the valve. Complete gentleman! As well as helium and other gas products they rent heavy machinery and heavy duty gardening products - in reception they have a whole load of ride on lawn mowers. Be warned this place is rather old school, everything looks like it has a coating of oil on it but I suppose that's just the nature of what these guys do! 4.5 Stars! read more
