This is the way I like my fried shrimp. So good I will definitely be back and highly recommend. Also this place is pay by cash only.

I've been here twice since finding out about the $12.99 for a dozen on Thursdays. The shrimp are fresh, big and fried to perfection.

So people were on social media raving about this place. I had a taste and decided to give them a…read moretry. I ordered online. You have to give them at least 30 minutes. I arrived a little early. Parking: tight. They have a little parking lot but that was filled. You can park on the street. They have a walk up window. I gave my number and was told my order would be up. It took more than 30 minutes. I ordered $5 crabs and had them sautéed. There's an extra charge. They came with a sauce. I ordered Buffalo butter. You can order whole crabs. The crabs were ok. They were meaty but I was looking for this great flavor and it wasn't there. I ordered a side of cajun seafood. Omg!! Omg!!!! There was too much cajun seasoning. I could not eat it. Overall I wasn't totally happy with the crabs. I'm not sure what all of the hype was about. I may go back to get whole crabs and make a sauce of my own.

They said they only had $3-$6crabs but these crabs no way were $4 crabs smh they too small. The shrimps were overcooked. I'm mad at myself because I should've checked my order before pullin off. They fell off. Big time. I use to love bobs but this was a big no for me especially when I spent $75 and my order was messed up. DO BETTER!

We went to a house show until 5 a.m. the night before and woke up late. Our reso was at 1:30, but…read morewe called and pushed it to 2:30. The hostess said no problem. Great phone voice, by the way. We walked to the restaurant during the purported "heat dome" weekend. Fortunately, the air conditioning is pristine. We sat at the oyster bar and recommend you do so too. Our waiter was great. We should have caught his name but didn't. Either way, he was a real one. P spotted some absolute babe across the bar and asked our waiter what she was drinking. Important side note: attractive people dine here, but not in an intimidating way if you're a normie. Turns out it was a mocktail from the Zero Proof menu. We don't judge. Our waiter then turned us on to an OG move: order a mocktail and add booze. P got the Pink Drink and added vodka. J ordered a Bee's Knees and a Firing Squad. All above average. Anyway, we created an oyster flight and got two of each, working our way across the Eastern Seaboard. The house sauce was fantastic and incorporated some sort of onion and horseradish combination. We don't pretend to understand what that sorcery was, but keep doing it. Create your own GD oyster flight. You won't regret it. We also ordered some shrimp cocktail and shared the lobster roll sandwich. We forgot to take pics, but the generic photo attached is actually how it looks. Not a bad bite. This was the perfect amount of food for two hungover people who took IR Adderall before the walk. We lingered for a while and they don't push you out. Ended up ordering a couple IPAs. They started shucking oysters to prepare for the dinner crowd, which is neat to watch when you're on the spectrum like us. Also, the walls are covered in different oyster plates. We spent about 20 minutes discussing which one was our favorite. We landed on a green one. It's a real vibe lifter of a joint. Brought us back to life. 10/10.

Everything was fresh and well prepared, and we enjoyed being able to try a good variety of seafood. It was a solid dinner and a good stop during our trip. We would definitely consider coming back the next time we're in Philadelphia.

Food Ordered: * worth trying…read more - [Fish Hoagie]: The Fish Hoagie was supposed to come with Hot Sauce, Hot Peppers, Pickles, Lettuce, Pepper Jack Cheese, and Swiss Cheese but we didn't get any of that in our order. They used raw onions in the sandwich but I think it would have tasted better if they had cooked down the onions a little bit. Also, the bread was soft but I think the sandwich would have been better if the bread was toasted. Lastly, something tasted off about the fish. Like it wasn't fresh. - [Wallo Special Swai*]: Because I ordered this as a delivery order, the food was a bit soggy but still tasted good. I can see why it's a best seller. The fish was the best part; it was nice and flaky and well seasoned, only a tad salty for my taste but, overall, very good. - [Vanilla Pound Cake?]: I put a question mark because I don't think that's what we received in our order. What we received was a layered cake(?) of biscuits and cream, which had a pudding consistency, and a chocolate sauce on top. The dessert was too sweet for my liking. Would I go back? : Unfortunately, no. I think the pricing of the food is a bit high given the quality. Granted, we ordered on GrubHub so there was a little bit of an upcharge. I assume their platters might taste better but there's better seafood-boil-type of places elsewhere in the city like The Shake Seafood.

The cluster was very skimpy and over cooked. I did not care for the flavor of the sauce as well. Inside the boil bag was 1 cluster, a few shrimp, a half of a half a piece of corn and a boiled egg. I wanted to also try a fried fish sandwich but the fryer was down so I couldn't, I understood because things happen. They make a homemade iced tea which is delicious. The staff was very friendly which was appreciated. The location is good for take out only, but there is a few seats if you choose to dine in.
