The husband brought me to his company holiday party here and it was pretty amazing. We had the basement all to ourselves with an open bar - neat. Service was kind and quick.
Each attendee had a three course dinner. I had the roasted cauliflower soup as a starter and it was magnificient. I mean, it looked like baby pudding with herbs and seeds but the taste was bold and full of flavor. My main was their pumplin risotto and while the foam on top of the herbs threw me off a bit, it tasted amazing. To finish, I had the caramel tart which proved to be perfection - dense, not too sweet and all sorts of caramel deliciousness. The caramel tart was served with a dollop of cold cream to balance out the sweetness. Nice.
The only downside were portions were on the small side, other than that, it was a really nice evening. The bathrooms were super fancy and the funny part was when I was trying to figure out how to activate the sink - I danced around, hovered over the wrong things but finally got the sink working (by holding your hands under the metal part for about 10 seconds). read more
