I'd always wondered about Vaeh's Treasures, a small strip center business located in the space I…read morebelieve was previously occupied by a yoga center at 56th and Emerson. This strip center also has Lincoln Square and a Dollar General directly across from it. So, despite being located at the end of the building it's at least a good thing that this entire area gets a decent amount of traffic. First off, according to their social media page (as of 1/20/23) their hours have changed to Monday-Thursday by appointment, Friday and Saturday 12-5, and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Vaeh's offers premium quality home goods at typically 40-70% off retail prices. They do have an online presence and you can order that way. This building is a little iffy in terms of accessibility with ramps at the front, back, and directly in front of Lincoln Square. The ramps are not quite ADA, though they are fairly close. Vaeh's has a relatively small storefront and the selection is mostly furniture, though they also are known to offer seasonal items, appliancs, art, and assorted other objects. It's a relatively quick stop, but if you're going to Lincoln Square or Dollar General it's a nice add-on if you can get here during their hours. I've been trying to spend more time in this area as I consider it my home area (I actually live about a mile south). Ultimately, there's lots of good stuff here and I would consider this to be a bit of a hidden gem here in Indy. Folks here are friendly, prices are good, selection is surprisingly good for such a small place, and it's a great way to support local. I'll definitely be back.

They also have stylish compression socks, surgical caps, and nonslip shoes. And To top it off they have cute extra merch, like canvas bags, water bottles, and the latest style of badges. The store is a brand new store, smells good and is very stylish. The service was excellent, we were greeted right when we walked in and received all the help we needed and then some to make our purchase. Finally, the price was really unbeatable. We were able to get a scrub outfit for under $50. We will definitely be back, even though it was an hour drive. Totally worth the drive to go there! You won't be

There is parallel parking on both sides of the street. If Zydeco's is busy there's additional parking to the West plus a parking lot. I love supporting small business owners who take such pride in their business. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman, and her adorable, tini poodle, Ivory, upon entering the store. She casually chatted with us as we shopped, made us feel very welcomed and was never overbearing. The store is very light, open and spacious. The front half has really sweet, affordable, home decor and a variety of jewelry. Women's clothing, shoes and dressing rooms are to the rear. She carries womens clothing from size small to plus sizes without the boutique prices. Take the time to try on clothing, if time permits, because she doesn't give refunds, only a store credit. Something More is well organized, nice groupings of home decor (mirrors, vases, candles, etc.), jewelry and cute clothing arranged by sizes. There's a furniture grouping (sofa, coffee table, etc.) as you enter but I didn't check to see if it was for sale or waiting husbands. I found some great gift items as I browsed the store and purchased a couple nice blouses. I look forward to visiting Something More when in Mooresville again. Take a few minutes to visit if your in the area.

We started at Buffalo Gal, and it wasn't what I expected. The last time I was in this space, it was a home decor/boutique business. Even though I was surprised, I enjoy browsing antique furniture, jewelry, dishware, clothing, and home decor items. Buffalo Gal didn't disappoint with such a variety of good quality antiques. We found a clean and well organized business with prices easy to locate, which is important to me. I found several gorgeous items I would have purchased if I had space for. I did find a beautiful tea set I had trouble leaving without. Due to the price, I could only buy one part of the set. The design reminds me of a Mayan pattern in rich pottery shades of rust, caramel, and chocolate. I hope to return soon and purchase the remainder of the set. Funny, how you can always find space for something you love. The prices were reasonable, the selection was impressive, and the owner was friendly, answered questions, and worked with me. I'm glad I stopped in and will return soon.

Apparently, it opened about 2 years ago and somehow, didn't have any Yelp reviews. Well, I always enjoy checking out gift shops, especially when they feature a great deal from local artisans. When I first entered, I realized that the shop has three sections/rooms. The first is mostly gift items featuring candles that are made by and support women at Wheeler Misssion, funny socks, and a variety of items that suitable for gifts. Many have inspirational themes as well. The room beyond that features women's clothing and jewelry. I will let someone else who knows more about those things review these items, but the space was colorful and easy to move around in. The back room, or man cave, is small but is a great place for guys to hang out while their lady friend shops. There is a TV back there as well as some items that might be fun gifts for men. They've figured out the shopping experience of married life here! ha! Although I didn't get to meet the owner, the woman who was working during my visit was friendly and very helpful filling me in on the source of items and how the owner supports other local businesses and artisans. The kind of business that lots of Yelpers also support, so if you are in Fishers, check this place out before shopping at some big box store or online. It was a place I felt welcomed. Review #3723
