I stopped by Foundry 317 during a recent jaunt through Broad Ripple during unseasonably warm temps…read more I parked my car and just enjoyed wheeling around the area for a bit. Foundry 317 is along the canal right on Westfield Boulevard. Foundry 317 focuses on home decor and furniture. I clearly arrived right at the tail-end of the holiday season and a good number of the items either had a holiday theme or fit within the holiday season. Items included antiques, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, festive accents, candles, and other overall housing items. Foundry 317 has a parking lot, though I was actually wheeling there. There's a small ramp up to the sidewalk if you approach it from the right (facing Foundry 317). The doorway is pretty workable and I found the interior to be surprisingly accessible (though I will admit I was taking extra caution given some of the prices!). As I was wheeling, I knew it was pretty unlikely I'd actually buy anything on this visit as it would have been difficult to carry back to my car. However, I definitely saw some items I loved and can easily see myself returning in the near future. The employee I encountered was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting, and I really loved some of the smaller items. I'm a candle freak and definitely would like to return for those. I've always found this section of Westfield Blvd. a little hit-and-miss. The sidewalk is kind of cracked and it's somewhat uneven, however, there's much to love here and I loved the efforts toward accessibility. This is definitely a little gem. I'd seen it before, however, I've never been by when they were open. I finally got the chance to visit, and I'm definitely impressed. I'll be back.

I wanted one of everything! We didn't have a ton of time since we had many stops to make, but my friend and I just had to look and I found so many cute and reasonably priced items. They had so many nice Christmas items. My husband found a really nice Monument Circle ornament. When we first saw the store we were on the wrong side. Once inside we realized it was a store and a place to take classes! They will also re-do your items. I mean how cool is that?!? You can get something re-purposed or learn how to do it yourself! At the event the owner, Erica, was there and she had wines and cheese and fruits to sample. I really loved her passion and she was super nice. She had wines that the proceeds went to charity. I can't wait to go back and have more time to discover all the fun items she has and plan to follow her blog and website. She even has a FB page!

This quaint little shop was very nice and cute, and had some nice local merchandise and unique nicnacks. I walked through the shop and could tell it had a nice selection of merchandise and the value of the price appeared to be very good. I went into a separate room that had 50% off merchandise, and found a few things that caught my eye which I ended up purchasing. They were kitchen coasters and they were very decorative and attractive looking. The service at the shop was Ok. The woman behind the cashier table was very nice and said hello when I first walked into the shop. When I checked out, she was very gracious and wrapped my kitchen coasters very carefully so that they would not break. Fivethirty Home is a neat shop with great merchandise, so if you are in downtown Zionsville, you should check it out. It is very nice and worth browsing around.

It truly is a treat to explore this homey little shop. Decorate has tons of cute housewares, candles, decor, jewelry, kitchen accessories, etc. My favorite collection of items Decorate regularly stocks is their Indianapolis neighborhood gifts -pillows, candles, glassware, and more items specific to Indianapolis, and even some specific neighborhoods (ex. Bates-Hendrix, Butler Tarkington, Meridian Kessler, Fountain Square etc.). The neighborhood candles are probably my favorite because they offer a great variety, each neighborhood has their own unique scent, and they make awesome house warming gifts. Even though the actual shop isn't very big, the variety of items is vast, and everything in the shop is carefully selected and laid out. I've always felt that everything I've bought from Decorate is unique and different than anything I've seen in similar shops. They also have the cutest seasonal items, so if you're looking for a gift for a specific holiday or time of year, you'll have plenty to choose from. PRO TIP: they usually have a selection of sale items available in store, so definitely make it a priority to stop in and shop. I promise you won't regret it.

We now check it out on a regular basis and always find some unique items. Prices are excellent, especially when compared to other vintage shops. The true treasure of the sho are the people that run it. They are so delightful and always make you feel welcome. Many times they have helped add to a collection by offering suggestions and remembering us when we came in. Though we don't always buy something we always learn something. Their knowledge and helpfulness is fantastic. I appreciate all the unique serving pieces and kitchen things available. My husband loves the record collection. Give this place a try... Inside the shop, you will find nice quality items like furniture, paintings, and some knick knacks. During the winter months, the business is making the most of some available space at the corner of Westfield and Guilford. In that annex, there are lamps, clothing, and more small items that might work in a collection or as a gift. The only negative is that the supply is rather small compared with other antique shops. I'm not sure how quickly the inventory turns over, so you'll just have stop by to see whether they have what you're looking for. Review #2279
