I was able to get right in (it's a warehouse, plenty of room) and find what I was looking for. The owners were both available to answer questions about prices and delivery. The place was a bit in shambles and seeming a bit disorganized, which I would assume is because it's closing, but I didn't mind that too much. I was able to find what I needed very quickly, pay, and schedule delivery all within an hour and I don't think you can beat that efficiency. The owners aren't pushy, they encourage you to look around, and parking is plentiful! I would definitely check them out again!

Project Lia offers gift and home decor items that are created from repurposed materials that are crafted by women who are undergoing a job training program after formerly being incarcerated. Women who participate in this project that lasts from 6 mo-1 yr are trained in both technical AND life skills with opportunity for advancement to higher positions. It is hoped that once they have completed the course, they will be better suited to finding gainful employment outside the project. The project has a small catalog of items that can be ordered online as well as the items that are available in the shop. They also do custom pieces that can be discussed with the project leaders to help you get a better understanding of what is available as well as cost. With unemployment being one of the main contributors to incarceration, I applaud the project that reaches out to help those who need it. I also like that they repurpose items that would be discarded and turn them into something useful. Seems like there is a balance and connection between the project and the people. Review #3370

It is full of show room pieces, discontinued pieces and damaged pieces. Now they have some beautiful stuff in here at a % of full cost. But you are still spending over a 1,000$ on a sofa that comes "As Is" . I personally do not want a floor model that everyone has tried and still pay a fortune for without any kind of warranty.. nothing! To much money for no guarantees.

Delivery center shipped two white couches (incorrectly) and the correct ottoman. I called the store and Ruth worked to get customer service to contact me. When customer service called they told me I had to work with the store to get the correct product shipped. Called Ruth back to explain the situation and she is as perplexed as I am. How can the store find something that is at the delivery warehouse??? Received a text ten minutes prior to delivery and the team showed up forty minutes later. My door was also damaged while the delivery team brought the wrong piece of furniture in..... I will update this review once the situation had been handled.

I usually shop at the store on Mass Ave, but I was in Carmel, so decided to check it out. The clerks were busy stocking shelves for Christmas when we entered, but welcomed us with big smiles. The shop seems a bit smaller that their other location, but still carries most of the same merchandise. They are known for their silver jewelry by various artists. Currently, they are featuring charm necklaces. An Indiana theme runs throughout the store with everything from Indiana necklaces to Indiana kitchen towels. It's a great place to pick up a gift with candles, art and even some local foods. I even saw a few toys and puzzles today for the kids. I was looking for a funny card and they have a small selection of cards but they were somewhat inappropriate to give a daughter. But they do have lots of crazy socks. I was greeted quickly by co-owner, Suzanne Deason. She told me about the sale, with pieces marked 40% off! I've been looking for a sofa, but I looked at everything. They carry a mix of very high and medium priced decor. Dion Deason, Suzanne's spouse and biz partner came out and we talked a long time. They do remodeling and interior design with 35 years of experience. Most of their clients order furniture to custom specifications. I thought I may have been in a little over my head, but they were down to earth. Most of the furniture is custom made in North Carolina. He taught me what to look for in sofa cushions. The furniture they had in the showroom was a mix of modern and trendy. I did see a couple sofas I really like and with the sale, they were quite affordable. I haven't bought anything, yet. But I'm close. As with all of Zionsville, parking is hit or miss. I'm not sure the store is very wheelchair accessible with the tight quarters. I love shopping local and avoiding the chains.
