The fellow I spoke with became belligerent and told me that when the tenants signed the contract, it stated that they're not responsible for damage and he also told me he did not need my permission as the owner of the property to place the dumpster on my property. Hmmmmm. He will respond to this (as on Google) to the tune of, I didn't have the right to contact him because I wasn't on the contract...NEWS FLASH! Are you ready? You HAVE to ask whether the person getting the dumpster owns the property especially if you plan on destroying their property then neglecting to take responsibility. Next he will make some claim that I put hazardous waist in the bin. Again more BS. The wee after the dumpster was removed I hired a company to the same task. They did not get their license from a cracker jack box and we're able to put the dumpster on the cement and not destroying my lawn. They are better dumpster companies out there. Do not use this one.

The time came for my wife and I to clean up our basement and get rid of unwanted household items…read moreincluding a freezer, a refrigerator plus assorted smaller kitchen appliances and junk. So we called around to find a trash hauler, but most were commercial grade with a minimum size really more suited for a construction site, than for a residential property. We found this company after a long search, and made an appointment, but then they wanted to reschedule because of severe storms. They were worried about trampling mud in the house. (Odd when told them twice 90% was in the garage?) I guess they were trying to be considerate. Two days later, the truck arrived 17 minutes late, and they got to work. The large appliances went first, then the carpet and finally the boxes with junk. The truck looked too big when it first arrived, but our stuff nearly filled it! And best of all, it took less than 30 minutes to do. Then I got the bill... I anticipated $150-285 based on a verbal estimate, but it actually totaled $429 and change ...OMG! I shared with them that figure wasn't even remotely close to the one given over the phone, which the driver promptly deflected. (They even argued with me the different costs associated with each fill percentage.) I then tied to negotiate, but only succeeded in reducing it $29. (I was afraid if I pushed the issue, the load would be dumped, so I capitulated.) The bill amount, the dissension, and the reschedule (because my area didn't get much rainfall), plus being late are the reasons why they are receiving a two star rating. I guess I am old school where your word is your bond, but apparently this value no longer exists today. My wife and I are pleased the garage is now empty, but NOT pleased about the cost, especially when the recycling plant is just 10 minutes down the road and charges $25/ ton. We will not use them again.

Reliable, Professional, and Worth Every Penny…read more I've used Affordable Junk Removal, Demolition, and Dumpster Rental in Akron multiple times now for cleanouts all across Summit County--including Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, and Barberton--and I can honestly say they are the best in the business. They've helped me clean out entire houses, packed garages, cluttered basements, and even a few attics that hadn't been touched in decades. These weren't light jobs either--we're talking about removing heavy items like pianos, waterbeds, pool tables, hot tubs, and more. No complaints, no damage, and no cutting corners. Their crew is always on time, polite, and incredibly efficient. They handle every job with professionalism and hustle, and they don't waste time standing around like other companies I've used in the past. They've even hauled away things I thought I'd have to hire specialty crews for. What really sets them apart is their fair pricing and honest communication. No surprise fees, no upsells--just solid work for a solid price. I also rented a dumpster through them for one of my house flips, and the drop-off and pick-up process couldn't have been easier. If you're in Summit County and need junk removal, light demo work, or dumpster rental, do yourself a favor and call these guys. Affordable, dependable, and they get the job done right the first time. Highly recommended. - A very satisfied homeowner , and real estate investor.
