I am appalled by response of the multiple representatives that I have spoken with this morning about the placement of our 50 yards dumpster. When we booked this dumpster to be delivered I was reassured that it would be placed as close to our deck as possible since it is a 2nd story deck and we are gutting a house to the studs and would need to be able to throw things from the deck to the dumpster. Unfortunately, the dumpster is about 20 feet away from our deck which means we have had to throw things over the deck and onto the ground and then go pick it up and walk it into the dumpster because there is also NO way to throw the stuff over top of the dumpster because it is too high. I called the company and spoke with multiple customer service agents and they have stated they will not come out to move the dumpster without charging me a fee to move it. They also stated that they called their driver to ask why it was placed where it was placed and he told them that it was the only place he could put it. This is completely untrue as there is a double care wide space where the dumpster should have been placed that leads right up to and under the deck. The customer service representative said that they have to go by what the driver says and not that of the home owner. This is ridiculous and insulting. When I asked to talk with the owner, I was told that they don't talk to customers and they stated they don't have contact information for the owners. I Googled the owner names and that is how I came upon this site. read more

I rented a 30 yard dumpster to gut a small kitchen, living and dining room. 572 square feet total. All it consisted of was plaster, drywall, small pieces of wood and some kitchen cabinets. I was initially going to go with a 20 yard but switched to a 30 yard to make sure I was covered and there wouldn't be any issues. Well I have an issue. They charged me an overage feet with the total weight being 4.82 tons. I was only allowed 3 tons. There is absolutely no way I was over. Everyone working at the house agrees. The dumpster wasn't even full. 3/4 full if that. Budget Dumpster should rename to "Over" Budget Dumpster. read more

I generally liked this company. They give a no nonsense flat rate for their dumpsters, which includes the actual dumpster and disposal of waste (some companies tack on an additional fee for disposal but only advertise the cost of the dumpster). That said, budget dumpster still found a way to charge extra by saying that I exceeded the weight limit by almost half a ton, and this news came about a week after they hauled it away. The dumpster had pretty standard stuff in it - household junk from previous owners, some carpet and old flooring, and a couch. I have a hard time believing it weighed even close to 2 tons, but somehow we clocked in at 2.4. It did rain like crazy, so maybe the carpet and couch absorbed some water. The weight limit seems kind of lame considering the truck had no problem hauling it away. How am I supposed to know how much it weighs? Probably will shop around again for my next dumpster. read more

I think they were great. we used 3 of their dumpsters. The only issue we had was getting a specific time frame for the first dumpster delivery. being it was a residential street, we had to let the neighbors know in advance, but it all worked out fine. I would use them again. read more
