Pretty good burger joint. I had an ahi tuna special - with crispy wonton strips, great flavour and texture. Garlic truffle fries with aioli sauce went great with it. Everyone else loved the burgers. My son had the Big Dipper which he loved - au jus style. Would come back if one is in a burger mood. read more

We were pretty excited to come here for a family celebration in Nanaimo and most of us ordered burgers. The problem is the buns on all of our burgers were super soggy. I mean so soggy you could squeeze the buns and liquid would come out. If I had not been so hungry I would have just eaten the burger and toppings. I would not go back. read more

We recently had a gathering at Bin 4 Burger. We were rocked by the exceptional service provided, the food, the options, the cleanliness of the premises and washrooms. Every request was greeted with enthusiasm. My personal order was the Strawberry salad. In most restaurants I would get at least a few pieces of less than fresh lettuce, or a mushy fruit piece. Not here! The entire meals was fresh, tasty and beautifully plated. Everyone, at our table of eight, was totally pleased with their meal. The server spent time explaining items, answering questions and ensuring all requests were met. This was our first time here, as we are new t Nanaimo, but it won't be our last. Came here with my family a little while ago. I really enjoyed my burger. I found that the chicken was really moist and the salad was really flavorful. The atmosphere was very loud as it was pretty packed, so I kind of found it hard to hear the people who were with me, for that reason I would recommend going in at a quieter time. They had no issue accommodating my peanut allergy. I do hope to come back and try another burger :) read more

Friday night...dinner out...new to Bin 4...was busy with happy crowd...fast up a glass of Phillip's... sat at counter...Courtesy chips mmm!!!...served by cheerful bartender...order pleasantly served after reasonable wait... Impressive "open"burger "to die for" with generous order of "just right" fries...tasty bun that held together just fine. Had to "call uncle" & ask for a "doggie bag" far too soon. Nanaimo BC - not San Francisco - Ordered in, $110 dollars. Never usually have a problem but for a burger place, they never should have let those patties out the door. Overcooked and black around the edges. For a burger--no excuse. That is why I gave it two stars--was so looking forward to a juicy professionally cooked burger. Ordered the goat cheese praline apple salad and didn't get a single praline. Ordered two dips neither arrived. A drink came punctured and the whole thing cold. For $110.00 could have added ketchup. Other than the horrible patties, the flavor combinations are great. Enjoyed the generous use of different cheese and the bruschetta was delicious although it did arrive in a mess. read more

BIN 4 Nanaimo has the worst service ever the waitresses are useless. Never come around and check on you never end up ordering more than one drink because no one comes around asking if you would like another. No excuse of the restaurant being busy for the poor service every time I go the restaurant is dead maybe two other tables max, very unprofessional have gotten this type of service, service is the wrong word since its non-existent every time I go this has happened 4 times in a row and that I've visited. I would only go back because the food was good but my last visit the food was terrible dry burger and cold fries so that's the last straw for me will not ever being going back to the Nanaimo location. read more

I googled "vegetarian near Costco Nanaimo" and Bin 4 came up, so we went for lunch before shopping and heading back to Salt Spring. All I can say is PHENOMENAL! There are several vegetarian choices, not necessarily vegan which was not an issue for us, and we ordered the Plant One On Me lentil burger in lettuce wrap and salad. Everything was fresh, well made and really delicious. Service was great, as well. Can't wait to go back. read more
