Charlie Kegans with Royal Roofing quoted us the best price of the five roofers who submitted bids. We are thrilled with their work. The day after the installation we had a good hour-long thunderstorm and downpour which made for a good stress test of their work, and the results were everything we could hope for. He hires experienced crews, and his more expensive materials may qualify for reductions to your insurance premiums. Note - RtR's solution can easily increase the cost of your roof by 10%+, and since insurance likely won't cover his upgrade, it can double the cost of your out of pocket expenses. Just recommend you clearly understand 1) what he is not going to install or fix that your insurance approved, 2) what RtR is installing that isn't covered by your insurance (deductable + shingles + ridge caps + wider gutters + ??) and exactly how many checks and the total sum you will be paying them for their roof vs other offers.

Hugh of Roof Doctors was recommended to me by a realtor friend. I contacted several roofing…read morecompanies when I found out I needed the roof replaced. It boiled down to Roof Doctors and one other company very quickly. The other company was just as patient answering my questions as Hugh, just as thorough in their answers (me, I'm a tad compulsive and I had a *lot* of questions), but for me the difference was that when I got busy and didn't get back to them, Hugh took the initiative to get back with me. Not in a pushy salesman way at all, but rather like someone I could depend on to carry the ball. And that held true throughout the process. I have a small house, a little over 1200 sf, and they had the roof on in two days. I had an aluminum tile roof and Hugh checked with me and, with my agreement, arranged for a recycler to collect the aluminum. After the holidays were over, Hugh followed up with me and installed my choice of venting. (I was considering solar attic fans but he clued me in that they don't have a rep for moving much air (I finally found the number: a mere 250 cfm -- think a really cheap range hood) and on top of that, the fact that the motors in these electric roof fans tend to last only 6 to 7 yrs. I was really glad for the enlightenment, and could see no point in adding to my maintenance chores for so little return on investment, so I went with the old style turbine.) I'd hire Roof Doctors again in a heartbeat and am delighted to recommend them to anyone in need of a roofer.

Foreman did a presentation on a laptop, intentionally skipping pertinent information and documents. Foreman then fraudulently, superimposed my signature on a document(lien) I did not sign and never knew existed. RR took months to complete my roof due to their excuses and delays. Afterwards, RR left packs of shingles in front of my garage for two months, they were supposed to be removed in a few days. There were two separate times, I did not hear from RR for over 30 days. RR always has an excuse for their over promising and under producing! I would love to include pictures of my new garage door and the interior leak RR was supposed to fix, but after six months of lies, delays, and fraud, I informed RR that due to their breach of contract, I was severing business ties with them. Foreman stated that, this is my fault, and that I have to use RR to complete the project. Ready Roofings lies, unprofessionalism, and fraudulent behavior are not my fault! While I already knew this, I do not have to, and I am not using RR to complete the project. RR has stated they are filing a lien(with a fraudulent superimposed signature) on my house, as well as, theft of services charges. I'm looking forward to my day in court! EXAMPLE OF READY ROOFING'S UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT: I own a two story home. An internal leak started upstairs. RR sent contractors to repair the leak downstairs. I stated to the contractor, When it rains, due to gravity, the leak from upstairs is going to travel downwards and ruin this repair, why are you not upstairs, where the leak originated? An argument ensued and I had to literally tell the contractor to get out of house, twice. The contractor did $300.00 worth of damage to the Scribe Molding in my kitchen, which I have not been compensated for. I contacted Foreman and his response was, you will have to file another claim. No, I will not file another claim. I will use a reputable company moving forward. I have several other documented examples of Foreman and Ready Roofings lies, unprofessionalism, and fraudulent behavior! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH READY ROOFING AGAIN! I WOULD SUGGEST YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH READY ROOFING, UNLESS YOU WANT LIES, EXCUSES, DELAYS, AND FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR!
