Bilston bathrooms gave me a quote for a new bathroom of £3800. I was told the date they could start and they turned up on time everyday (they were not employees of bilston bathrooms, they we subcontracted in to do the job). On the start day i recieved a delivery of tiles that i didnt know was coming, shower cubicle arrived, sink, toliet and cabinets were all delivered too early and had to be left lying around outside or where it could be fitted into bedrooms. Bathroom was completed on time and to my specification, the subcontractors did a good job, however i was left with two holes in the ceiling (which i had just painted previous to the fitting), phoned bilston bathrooms who sent a plasterer, to the wrong address. Some of the subcontractors didnt have a very good word to say about Frank. Before payment, when anything needed doing Frank was there at the drop of a hat. As soon as he was paid it became impossible to get hold of him when things needed sorting, no-one could give you a mobile number and calls were not returned. The shower was fitted with a shower tidy to place accessories on, it was supposed to be stainless steel but it went rusty after 3 weeks. When i contacted them to ask for a new one to be fitted it took 7 days for them to contact me and he told me it would take 2 weeks to order a replacement and in the meantime he took the old one, rubbed it up and gave it me back. The handle on one of the cabinets kept coming loose and could not be tightened up, the screws that hed been used were far too short and i had to buy new ones that would hold the handle. Some of the grouting around the shower is starting to come away and the bathroom is only 7 weeks old. I am also dreading any pipework going wrong as it is all boxed in. They may seem like the best company in the world before you pay them but as soon as they have been paid you may as well not exist, aftercarewhat aftercare? No returned or answered phone calls, impossible to get anything done! Look around first before choosing these! read more
