There is a side street that you can park up and along the way as well just be sure to leave any driveways open as trucks and other vendors gotta get in and park too/unload. Inside it is super spacious! We came in on a Sunday when the Cowboys were playing during the day and there must have been at least 50+ people inside watching on the large big screens and cheering the 'Boys on. Plenty of high table tops and plenty of seating for you to hang with you and your crew inside. Outside was a whole other world! There was corn hole, oversized Jenga blocks, and tables and shade. All of the seating and tables were super sturdy and brightly colored too! I love that I saw a lot of smaller kids running around, playing games, and overall enjoying the outside atmosphere. Lots of good gravel and grass to help pave your way to your seat or table of choice. When we were here there were at least 4 vendors selling food from hamburgers to BBQ. I really loved that we had several options for food and didn't have to go far. From what I understand from the family, who are regulars, there is always at least 1 vendor selling food on any given day or night. Drinks and service was amazing! The beer specials were especially nice for me and my wallet. I also loved that Brooster's has their own specialty cocktails or mixed drinks they promote on their colorful dry erase boards. We tried their Broosters Backyard Punch that was less than $3! It was delicious. Be sure to ask the nice friendly bartenders what they recommend and what is on special! They are reliable and legit recommendations too! Excited to come back thru in December for the next market and enjoy some more punch under the afternoon sun at Brooster's. I want to start this review by saying I am not a member of Club G. I know someone who is a member…read moreof Club G, and in return, I've been by quite a few times now, especially around major holidays or other events. It's a very classic establishment, having been open since the '80s, and a lot of the members have lived in San Antonio for years, so it is expected to be of high service. Since they are a private club, they have a few ground rules including men being required to wear a sports coat. That's an easy price of admission as a guest, I will say. We always get a few drinks when I visit, and to my knowledge, their drinks are usually pretty excellent. I've had an Espresso Martini, a Cape Cod, a Cosmo, a Carajillo, a Negroni, a Martini, and an Aperol Spritz there, to name a few, and they have all been really enjoyable with a solid balance of liquor to the mixers. Nothing really stands out as the best drink in their category, but they are very consistent and I know each drink will be what I want. As for a normal meal there, Club G can either be hopping or quiet depending on who else is there. Once, we went and I swear my party was the only one there minus a group in a private room. There was a guy playing the piano to the right of us and we were served tableside Caesar, which is always glorious. I ordered a Charbroiled Double Rib Pork Chop with a Ranchero Demi-Glace that was phenomenal. On top of that, I had a Crème Brûlée for dessert that was sensational. When it is around a major holiday like Mother's Day, Easter, etc., which is when I've gone the most, they run a buffet-style meal. Sometimes it can be hit or miss depending on your taste, but today for Easter I got a good fix'n. I had a great spring salad for starters with mandarins and craisins, followed by prime rib and chicken breast with sides of scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese, and a vegetable medley. They also had some sort of fish with panko breadcrumbs that I would've enjoyed alongside the rest of my food, but I knew what I had was pretty substantial already. The buffet has a great dessert platter full of mini pastries that people always take advantage of. The one downside of Club G is that everyone is paying a large premium for their membership, so they are all expecting the highest level of service, which means you can have a lot of entitled and sometimes spoiled people coming through. In line at the buffet, I had a group of seniors cut in front of me and start chopping it up with each other in the buffet line, holding me up. Like dawg, that's what the table is for! Other people just seem snarky to each other about everything and anything when I'm passing through. There are some nice people there, especially the staff, who are always laser focused on making sure the experience is great for everyone. On days like Easter, the service can be a little slow, so chill out if you're there on one of those days. I enjoy my visits to Club Giraud and their dedication to a nice private dining experience. If you have a chance to dine in, take it, especially if they are paying for you, because a good meal like that doesn't come around often.
