I did have ID, and a non-expired one and was not with the person so there was clearly no legal reason to do this, but the store owner claimed it was "his right" to refuse me service. I hope to have this businesses liquor license revoked from the town of deerfield so somebody willing to sell liquor to customers with valid ID can instead be licensed. Avoid.

Sizable rack of imported Belgians as well as the best Belgian-style brews from the states. Lots of bombers. Pricing is pretty good. Carries mostly all of the best local breweries in MA, and their prices on Berkshire bombers and growlers are very good. They allow you to break up six packs and both times I took advantage they did not mark-up each bottle for doing so, unlike Table & Vine in W. Springfield. They also have a very good wine selection and large coolers of your regular light beer and macro brands. It's possible to catch them in between stock-ups of certain names, as I did last time when the Troegs shelf was nearly bare, but that's a minor complaint. Overall selection is fantastic and well-maintained, a great stop and glad to have places like this.

The sign at the entrance said, "20% off all American white wines."…read moreI bought my favorite local white wine as I have many times in the past. When I checked out, the price did not seem discounted. When I asked about it, I was given a retail price that was larger than I have ever paid for this wine. With the supposed 20% discount, the price was the same as it always was. They claimed it was the distributor, but when I checked another liquor store, the price from the distributor had not gone up. So they raised the price and then gave me a "discount". I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

They had a good selection of beer from real close, from Massachusetts, and of course from the rest of the country/world. * Walk in cold storage in the back. * Didn't partake since we were on the way out of town, but there was wine tasting going on. The store carries liquor, wine, and beer. * Friendly staff. Cons: * I do wish local stuff had been a little better designated. There was local and local-ish kind of all over the cold storage room, so it was a little hard to figure out at first for us out of towners.
