This is the breakfast in the Cabo Bay! American style breakfasts and American size portions. The best banana smoothies, the biggest French toast and the best omelets too! My two picky young kids were very happy, yours will be too! Great staff too, and the view is unbeatable! read more

Delicious catch of the day - I chose blackened sea bass. However, the fish at any spot on Medano beach is delicious. This place deserves three stars because: 1. Staff hovered over me and kept asking if I was done with my food. What's the rush? 2. They will rip you off on the exchange rate. Make sure you have pesos or visa/MasterCard, they don't take Amex. 3. No chips and salsa or anything complimentary before the meal. 4. Eating on the beach is great, but Billygan's is wide open for people to approach and sell you souvenirs during your meal. I give the this place 1 star. We should have known that something was wrong when the place was empty. Thats my wifes rule rule of thumb. Its to bad because the view is actually really nice. But I have to say. With in 30 mins of eating my stomach was in knots. I had the Lobster and filet dinner. The filet seemed to be medium rare like I asked. but after thinking about it. We really couldnt see our food after 6pm. The lighting was horrible. They lit 2 torch sticks that didnt help at all. The waiters had flash lights when they came to serve our dinners. Both of my entres where chewy. Anyway after spending a $170 for 4 adults and 2 kids. I WILL never go back to this place. So buyers beware. You've been warned. I love their breakfast! The Office is more popular, but breakfast here was better and fresher in my opinion. The views are breathtaking and you can get a seat super close to the ocean. They even have beds and lounges right at the water for your enjoyment. I got the pina colada pancakes with the eggs, potatoes, beans,bacon and hash browns. My husband got the same sides with chocolate waffles. Everything was delicious!!!! I highly recommend this breakfast place. I can't wait to come back again and try their dinner as well. A plus was that they have hooks for your purse or bags. Very friendly and quality service as well. Since we ordered two plates each, they even brought covers for the plate we weren't currently eating off of so little bugs wouldn't fly on it. read more

This place is fun and definitely better than the place next door (The Office). The lounge chairs aren't clean but I would take a towel or rent one from them for $3. The drinks were delicious, but I honestly feel as if they forget to add the alcohol. I liked my mojito and nights in Havana drink. I just wish I would get my money's worth. Don't come here! We were walking in the beach and headed to Mango but we popped in for a drink because the waiter stated we would get a house margarita special for $5 USD and when we got our bill and it was much higher. Stopped in on a cruise for the day and out of ALL the choices we had we chose this place for the ambiance. There was only a few other tables filled and a few people in the lounges. It was midday Thursday. Service was mediocre at best.. constantly had to get Ramon's attention to ask for another drink, place an order, limes, napkins.. even with 3 others helping he did not seem interested in being of service. Then when I asked to move to the "bed" he told me I had to spend $100 US but he could move us to a lounge chair. He moved us way in a corner where we were bombarded by passing vendors and next to crying babies at the neighboring beach restaurant. What's worse is after 5 tequila drinks I did not feel ONE bit of a buzz which told me they weren't even pouring tequila. Once I realized I was being scammed I asked for my bill and instead of an itemized bill Ramon came out with a hand written total of $82!!! For 5 drinks, ceviche, and 3 tacos IN MEXICO... NOT THE US!!!!!! Complete and utter disgust for this rip off of a place that I will never visit again.. Even funnier is how he asked for his tip in cash... still provided him a generous $20 tip and suddenly he provided his name, told me to come back anytime and he would take GOOD care of me.. whatever buddy read more

A great little spot amidst a touristy beach in Cabo. I got a delicious salad with goat cheese that was clearly made fresh. Wifi is available here- though don't expect super speed. Tables are available on the sand- as well as on the deck- both in the sun or under an umbrella. Bar available on the sand as well. Visited Billygan's a few times. Was used to laying on their chairs and enjoying the beach. It was a nice place to relax, but now they've taken some of the chairs away and added beds. If you aren't lucky enough to get there in time you're stuck with a bed for $150 and you must pay up front. It is supposed to cover your food and drinks. Jose A. was our server and made it clear he needed our card to pay for the bed up front, regardless if we were planning on spending $150. As for his service, it was not the best. We stayed because we were used to the service we used to get. This time was different and definitely not as good. Giving it 3 stars because the service has been better. read more

My family & I are returning customers of this place at Medano Beach,MX . All I would like to thank Sergio & Francisco (very welcoming) because we went there in the morning with my two young kids (3 & 6 yo) and they went out their way to add another umbrella so that my kids would be able to enjoy the sand and not have too much sun on their backs. As always, the food is good here. My wife & I absolutely enjoyed the margarita w/ jalapeño and the other one is mojito w/ tamarindo (a must!!!). This place is a little piece of heaven! We recently went back for our 4th trip to Cabo and we ended up spending 2 full days on the amazing beds in the sand. Great food and we would tell our fantastic server Jose to surprise us with drinks and he would bring the most amazing creations! Loved this place so much, they treat you like royalty and you will leave happy and relaxed, just dont forget lots of sun screen if you like to get in and out of the ocean like us because you are only a couple steps away. read more

Service was ok I asked for no peppers on a taco and instead they gave me peppers and left them out of everyone else's food. Spent a great day on the beach at Billygan's! The five of us laid on their comfortable chairs all day. The margaritas and guacamole were delicious. Nice size portions at a reasonable price. We also had chicken nachos that we're yummy. Service was excellent! Expect to see beach vendors since it's a public beach, but the atmosphere is busy fun. People watching at it's best. read more

This place was fantastic! We just finished jet skiing at the beach and asked the guys where to eat and they recommended Billygan's. We are so glad we went. First of all, it's literally right on the sand with beautiful views. And second, the food is so fresh and tasty! This place is right next to the office, wonderful romantic jazz type music, very relaxing, feet in the sand amazing amazing food. They even provide a little complimentary appetizer and dessert cocktail which was just icing on the cake. Have tried most everywhere in the area but had never eaten here. Decided to try it on Thanksgiving. Beyond our expectations! Went by in the AM for breakfast. My wife says the special French toast was the best ever. Service was great - thanks Sergio - and the drinks were goods. Dinner was even better! We decided against turkey and took fish we had caught. It was the best fish preparation we have found in Cabo! Not a huge coconut fan, but the coconut breaded fish with mango curry sauce was amazing. The service was even better with a dessert for my youngest who's birthday it was. Thanks to our waiter, Ramon, who really made the night great. As an added bonus, the prices here are really reasonable compared to others in the area. Will be back! read more
