Billy Bob's Texas is a fun and lively spot with a true Texas feel. The live music, dancing, and indoor bull riding are the highlights, great food and there is always something going on. It can get crowded and a bit pricey, but the energy makes it worth a visit.

Place is poppin! Get there early

This was my first time in Fort Worth, Texas! And if you're anywhere near the stockyards, you have to pay a visit to Billy Bob's! This place is a giant western playground for adults! 33 bars and plenty of booze to go around. Live music, bull riding, pocket pool, a variety of eateries galore... you name it, this place has it! There was a $40 cover. I recommend getting there early. Anything past 9PM means you'll be waiting for a long while outside in the cold on a December night. We had just eaten at Cattlemen's down the street, so I can't really say anything about the food. But overall, the ambiance was lively and great! The bull riding was epic and the line dancing was quite the experience! We had a blast and can't wait to come back!

Was here for a work dinner. They had us in a back room and served a buffet. Brisket was fair for the most part but when I went back for seconds, found a few fatty pieces that others had passed on that were excellent. Pulled pork would be fine for most people I suppose but I am a snob On this dish and have yet to be to a bbq joint that makes it better than mine. The potato salad and beans were absolutely ace and the peach cobbler was great too. Beer selection was lacking IMO because I typically only drink crafts beers. My group loved the line dancing and the pool. We would have enjoyed the bull riding too but they weren't doing it the night we were there. Fortunately we got to see the show the next night at the stockyards arena.

Cool place to visit. It has a lot going on and worth just popping in. I didn't eat there and only grabbed a beer to soak in the ambiance. It feels like a honky Tonk from a movie should. Bartender was friendly.

We came in after watching the cattle drive at Fort Worth Stockyards. It's been an iconic concert and rodeo venue for years. The nickname is "The World's Largest Honky Tonk" . It's huge -- lots of space to eat, drink, dance, watch bull riding, or just hang out without being in a crowd. Many famous Texas and national artists have played here and there is a wall of fame, guitar pick wall, and back stage pass collection! In addition, there are pool tables, a dance floor, concert stage, and bull riding on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a restaurant but can get busy so see if they have reservations. We did not eat food. This week the artists playing are Drake Milligan and Stoney Larue. We loved the laid back feel of Billy Bobs. A great place to see a concert, eat, or dance.

I am a fan of music. Sonically, I'm all over the place. One night I'm at a rave, the other I'm going to a honky tonk. Living in Texas all my life, the country bug sneaks up on you. You listen to a little Tyler Childers and go, well, he's alright, and then four years in Lubbock, Texas and you're a Treaty Oak Revival super fan. Billy Bob's is the mecca of honky tonk in Texas. A chapel of Red Dirt. I can't line dance. I don't own a pair of boots. I can drink a Lone Star, though. After seeing Gavin Adcock smashing tables or Fred again.. dancing with his family after two nights at Dickies with an Aaron Watson song in the background, I wanted my moment at Billy Bob's. I was in Fort Worth for a work conference, and I made sure the task was clear. We must go to Billy Bob's. On a casual Wednesday, my team and I went. It was Ladies Night, so most got in free. There's so much history inside the walls. Signed handprint slabs, walls of photo pass and all-access stickers, and plenty of soul. My co-workers played a crazy high-level game of pool while I watched Texas Tech lose the first game of the WCWS to Texas tragically. We then watched people line dance to the classics as well as the Trolls version of "September," which was more confusing than anything else. This place is an oasis for music. I would love to see a show here, but even on a bar night, it's an excellent time. Long live William Robert's.

Located in Ft Worth, BB's is a great spot for a night out. Recently attended the Rival Sons show and it was great! Venue is large with plenty of seating, a great dance floor, and entertainment.

Legendary spot. Certainly the best hick bar I've ever been to. No doubt about it. Skip the food, though. Eat somewhere else.

Hugh place!!! There is a fee to get in during the day, inside you can see lots of music memorabilia. There's a lot to do and see here, play pool, play arcade games, visit the gift shop, sit and have a drink, dance, eat at the bbq restaurant or just hang out and listen to music. At night they put on concerts, you have to buy tickets for the concerts. There are several areas to get drinks so there's not much of a wait during the day, I'm sure at night it is very busy though. Fun place to check out in Ft Worth.

We went for a private event and stayed to check out the rest of it. It's a really cool place and great to show folks from out of town something special about Texas. Staff was great, drinks were strong. We didn't eat so I can't speak to that. It's a Texas institution, what more can you ask for?

Coming here for an out of state family visit and stepped inside to look at the legendary Billy box entered after dinner with my children and our family at four because we decided to visit with children. We wanted to do family friendly things so we venture to take a family photo upon approaching the booth unable to hear the young lady if you want to call her that we were greeted with hateful speech, verbal assault, and told to get the hell out of her booth, this was uncalled for unnecessary and then upon trying to reach management we were told the booth is an outside vendor nonetheless, it is representative of the famous Billy Bob's I encourage you not to spend a dime here. Do not bring your families. Do not patronize the Photo Booth customer service is everything management was unavailable. She assaulted us with curse words in front of our 210-year-old. Children

I can't remember the last time I was here. However, my cousin wanted me to join her for a concert so I did! I had such a great time! There was lots to see! First of all, they have a friendly staff. A male Cowboy showed us where to go and a female Cowgirl said, Y'all enjoy! It's the southern hospitality that gets me every time and never gets old! Billy Bob's has a Gift shop, a Mechanical Bull, a BBQ concession, a Pizza Concession and has the best Popcorn for $3.00! You can buy a drink and get free refills too! They also have several large bars. Our Waitress came around several times to check on us. The Restrooms have been remodeled and there are many stalls. The temperature is just right and they have two Dance floors! The sound system is stellar too! It's just the right volume. You are able to hear the person next to you. Thank you Billy Bob's for having David Lee Garza and Bobby Pulido Perform. I truly enjoyed their performances. So, gather all your friends and head to Billy Bob's and experience this great venue!

If I buy a ticket to a General Admission table, does that cover just one person's entrance? How does that work?

Typically if a concert has a RESERVED GA TABLE; 1 Ticket = 1 SEAT at the GA Table. GA Tables hold 4 SEATS, therefore if you want a WHOLE table you need 4 TICKETS at that table. Hopefully this cleared up your confusion! Also only buy tickets from… Read more

In these post-covid times, is there still dancing? I saw on the website that you could buy tickets for performances but it look like that you enjoy the concert by buying seats. I don't want to sit. I want to dance! Is there dancing? Thanks!

You can dance, but it is limited people on the dance floor and you have to wear a mask 😉

I'm curious what the concerts are like with reserved tables and social distancing?

I went to the Chad Prather show. Masks were required except when seated at a table. While groups were separated on the same side of the table, we were seated directly across the table from others and we were back to back with the table behind us.… Read more

What is the cover charge on a Friday night? Does it hang when there is a concert?

For Friday's when there's not. A concert is $10 and when there is a concert you have to pay the standing room ticket wich starts at $25 depending on the artist

What is average age of people that go?

It is a family style place, msiny ages 13-25 & 40-50...Alot of stuff form all ages to do, just don't go to a concert! Seating is really backwards stupid and bad at that!

Dim lights, worn wood, history in the walls, and live music filling the room like it's always belonged there. There's a small dance floor, just enough space to two-step without overthinking it, and that's exactly what we came for. This was our last stop of the night, meant to be a quick finish before heading elsewhere in the Stockyards. Funny how plans change. The music hit right, the energy was right, and this place delivered exactly what it promised. Before we knew it, last call rolled around and we were closing the place down. One of those nights where time slips by, boots are tired, and that old saying rings true -- you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. Classic, gritty, full of character, and absolutely worth ending the night at. If you're in the Stockyards and want a real Fort Worth experience, not something polished or pretend, this saloon is it.

The staff gave plenty of attention to regulars, but that same effort didn't extend to us "newbies." I'm not a bartender, but the difference in hand pours between locals and non-locals was noticeable. We sat at the bar so I could hear the orders being placed. We each had one drink and decided to leave. The lively atmosphere fits the Fort Worth vibe, and the bathrooms were fun with a classic western theme, which was a nice touch. Overall, this feels like a place best enjoyed if you're already part of the regular crowd -- otherwise, the experience is pretty underwhelming.
