At my first house I had them assess, putting in a new toilet in my basement, which required the foundation to be opened up, but instead of charging me for the labor, he let me borrow the tools to do the job and not charge me a thing. Then just this week I had a natural gas line corroded and I had received multiple quotes from companies that were charging extravagant costs and Mark was able to coordinate someone to come to my house and get it done in less than two hours at less than half the cost what I had been quoted earlier. There's no reason to go anywhere else.

Before knowing about Mike Atkinson HVAC, I reached out to two, widely advertised companies. The first bid I received from a company I won't name was nearly $20,000 to replace both units. I realized I couldn't afford to do the furnace and would focus on replacing the A/C. The next bit I received was half of the first bid but only for my air conditioner. My brother-in-law Ken, told me about Mike Atkinson, who only advertises by word-of-mouth. I'm pretty sure this is how he keeps his prices low. When I called Mike Atkinson and spoke directly to him, he came to my home the very next day and provided a bid that was, fair and reasonable for both units. Then, he was able to get me the replacements units within two days and have them installed. In less than a week I was able to call him, have him come to my home and have a new furnace and new air conditioner installed at a price that was considerably less. If you want to replace your heating and air at a fair price, Mike Atkinson HVAC is the place to go.

Once he got there, he looked over my air conditioner and actually even pulled it out to have a closer look. There was so much debris it looked like thin blanket covering it. Kind of like a lint trap to a dryer. I okayed the repair since his pricing was beyond fair. He cleaned it exceptionally well, but here is where things get really weird. He's cleaning it and says, "In all my years doing this, I've never seen that before." I asked what it was and he said he found a dead bird in there. Keep in mind, this is a closed system. We have no idea how it got in there. I've been here 3 years and the bird looked even more aged than that. I'm glad he got it out of the system as that's got to be a major health hazard. Anyway, the air conditioning is very cold now and working great. By the way, don't believe me about the bird? Here's proof. See photos.
