Had a new furnace and ac unit installed last summer. Come cold weather my furnace worked for a week or two before shutting down. Bill's came out promptly each time but never fixed the problem. Finally after having a cold house all winter, they found the heat exchanger defective and they would call to schedule repair. No word for 3 weeks so I called them and was told the part was back ordered and estimated time would be 90 days without a furnace.I was given some portable electric heaters in the mean time . So after paying almost $9,000 I get a cold house. Just before Memorial day weekend they called and said they had the parts and would be out the next week. But no. The afternoon before the appointment I received a call that they received a lot of calls from people having ac problems so they put me after them and set the repair back till the following week. I've been waiting 10 months for a working furnace and still am. Bill, the owner texted me and apologized and blamed it on China, tariffs, and the manufacturer Revolv. But all year they are still installing them for new customers. They honor the 10 year warranty and will keep trying to get a working furnace in my house after meeting the needs of new customers first. I am a 73 yr old single, disabled person on Social security that's being kicked to the back of the priority list. We will see what happens. This is about Bill's Heating and AC. read more

I had them come and quote a job to replace the AC in my home. They quoted me a price so expensive that i nearly fell down laughing so hard(not really, i was extremely upset). Their price was nearly double the price of the next lower quote. I guess since they new the AC needed replaced and that the heat predicted for the next week was over 100 degrees then they would just try to gouge the heck out of me. I will actively tell everyone that will listen on just how stupid this company is. I got quotes from all the other HVAC companies in the LC Valley and they were all within 10% of each other but not these common day rip offs, they were double the price of the other quotes and then acted like they were giving me a good deal. read more

Would not recommend Bills. We bought a heat/pump A/C unit in April and now our house is humid and muggy when we use the A/C. They sent three different technicians out who can't fix the problem so they just left it at that. There solution is for us is to buy dehumidifier's. This has never been an issue before in our home. Now the humidity is between 50 to 63%. read more

I reached out to Bill's Heating & A/C because my furnace was making a loud noise throughout the house, and I wanted it checked out. To his credit, the technician provided a detailed report. However, while I was at work, he pressured my wife to sign for a brand-new furnace on the spot. He didn't seem to want her to consult with me first. After that experience, I had another company inspect it. They informed me it was just a bad bearing in the blower, and the rest of the system was intact and as the system may be older, there was plenty of life left in the system. It seems the technicians earn a hefty commission for the sale of new equipment. read more

Called for a repair, tech came out, told me motor was out and was low on Freon and probably had a leak. Said I would need a whole new system including furnace (system is 13 years old). Did not discuss options about repairs, just that I needed new system. What he was saying didn't make since so I called another company tech came out said it was the capacitor and had it fixed within 5 minutes, part in his truck. No Freon needed. Then got a 13k estimate from Bills for all the new unit and estimates for other service options to my unit If lesser options. None which were discussed with me in person as the only one he presented was a new system. I wrote a Google review and then the owner responded with the audacity of justifying his tech and commenting he was sorry that I decided to just "kick the can down the road". As a customer, I expect to be given full information including a temporary repair. Glad that I didn't stick with partial information. read more

It started malfunctioning in the early part of the winter during that super cold stretch. On off - on off... I sure didn't want it to die during the night. I panicked and called a different company out to ck the heater over. Whoever Mike's Mechanical sent out forgot to clean some basic little temperature probe. The new service guy hooked up a meter, up came a code and it ID'd the problem instantly. The new guy cleaned the probe and the furnace has been functioning fine ever since.

We have had intermittent problems with a slow drain under the slab in our basement that we know has…read morea hole in it. I messaged Drain Pro to get them to map the pipe so the plumbers could replace it. They responded to my inquiry quickly and showed up exactly when they said they would. They checked the pipe, found that it was mostly just clogged, and showed us that the hole is very small and likely does not need replacement at this point. Then he gave us advice on how to keep it clear without them having to do it regularly, but also that he's happy to keep checking it for us going forward. Additionally, we had a power outage literally right as he was about to put the snake down the pipe, but they came back a couple hours later (well after 6pm) when the power was back and did the job. Then they didn't charge me an arm and a leg! The guys were very polite, went out of their way to be neat (going around the house instead of through it), and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't be happier. I hope I don't need their services anymore, but I'll happily use them again if I do.
