This past Sunday which I believe was the 29th of March, I went to check out and see what they had that was new. I got there around 11AM and the place was already super crowded. Keep in mind that they are only open on Sundays between the hours of 8AM to 1:30/2pm. Depending on the foot traffic. They have a lot of vendors that sell a good amount of everything. To name a few: They sell good and fresh fruits/vegetables, nuts, spices, candles, jewelry (mostly custom made), dried fruit, spreads, flowers of many kinds, pastries/breads of different kinds, hot and cold food/beverages, berries of every kind, all the way to a small play area where kids can ride a small train, jump in the bouncers, and have a carousel of cute pony rides. Just by looking at the smiles and the excitement on their faces, makes me want to get up on one of the pony's myself, and the man looked at me funny. They also do face painting and prices are not that cheap. Depending on what you get. Established in 1998. It really is a fun place to be on a Sunday morning/early afternoon. All vendors are super nice, friendly and they let you sample few things before buying it. I bought Sunflowers, some spices, berries, olive bread loaf, and couple of cookies. Also got 2 hummus spreads. Parking can be a bit challenging, I parked on the street. Whatever doesn't sell, vendors donate to the charities. Great deed. Don't waste FOOD!!

Folks come early to this market to get the first choice of the days offerings. Lots of produce,…read morefood readily available for consumption as well as bakery items. A few craft vendors were present although this is primarily a fruit and veggie paradise. Oh m, let me not forget to mention the beautiful fall flowers, just love the giant marigolds! Vendors are happy to talk about their produce and I also saw numerous samples available for those with curious taste buds. Free parking is available across the street se well street parking in the neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I went over on the second Saturday to check things out. Cost of entry is $5 and there were a handful of food trucks including the Beached Pig which Grohl is involved with, plus Wonderlust for ice cream, Japanese food, Lobster, pizza and drink stands. There was a DJ and although the square footage was small, they did their best to accommodate with benches and seating. We only ate at the Beached Pig to support Dave. We got two sets of Brisket tacos for $10 and a $10 Pulled pork sandwich which came with a pickle and chips. Water bottles $2 each. The line was long in the hot sun but so worth it and sat at a cool bench to eat. Thank you so much for bringing Valley Urban Market to Studio City! We hope it will grow into something really great!!

We arrive around 9:30 and we were the only people there besides one other couple. Over time, we had a looooooong line behind us. By the time they opened up at 10am, there were a lot of people in line. Entry is $5. We headed straight to Burt's booth since we knew everyone else in line would follow as soon as they entered. The food was great. Definitely worth the trip. The other booths looked okay too but were a little slow to open. It's too bad that this weekend was Burt's last time at VūM but the other trucks looked good too!

These are the stalls that always have the longest lines well before the official 8am opening trumpet... BREAD: breadlines are back... but this time there's no depression in the eyes of the folks waiting for Bub and Grandma's. Get there early for a chance at the full selection. BERRIES: The line for J.G. Berries seems like a slow moving parade, but once you make it to the front, you'll see why as you taste super sweet raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. Honorable mention goes to Harry's Berries whose Gaviota Strawberries are beyond compare... unfortunately, their price is too! MEXICAN FOOD: A conveyor-belt lineup of people seem to ALWAYS be waiting to buy El Machete's tortillas, chips, and salsas, so they must be pretty good! FRENCH PASTRIES: St. Honore is relatively new to the HFM, boasting lots of your favorites and soon to be favorites made with real French ingredients. Obsessed. Stopped…read moreby here for a quick bite during the week and loved it! So many shops and a lot of variety to choose from/shop at. Since it was a week day, not crowded! That was the best. Stopped by a dog food shop to get the fur babies some treats, a smoothie place (delicious), a pickle spot where I bought the sliced pickles in a honey mustard pickle juice (obsessed with these!), empanadas (the best here) and a bakery where a friend got some cookies to go. I have to go back when I have more time to thoroughly explore and enjoy checking out all the shops. A must stop by when in the area! Just beware, it is crowded during the weekend!

I was drawn to come check this place out since it has been around for quite some time. It seemed to have everything there: candy shops, baked goods, pizza, ice cream, fried chicken, burgers, deli's, salad, empanadas, seafood, dumplings.. the list goes on. If you are ever in the area and you want to grab a snack or a meal, this is a great place to visit. I think parking is free for 90 minutes if you get it validated by a merchant inside. I wish I had more time there, but I will definitely go back when in this area. I ate at Magee's Kitchen and my niece got pizza. Both were pretty delicious. Prices seemed a little steep to me, but that was expected. I bought some candy fruit slices for my sister. Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Food: 5/5

Most of the items included a substantial "farmer's market premium", so it doesn't seem to be the sort of farmer's market where you're getting a bulk product for a better price by cutting out the middlemen. We paid $10 for a small container of honey, and another $10 for a few oranges. Then $16 for tacos, and $1 for bagels. Saw some poke for ~$34/lb which is also rather steep. I came and conquered the Beverly Hills Farmers Market! Actually, i have been three weeks in a row…read morenow and feel like I got the full experience - I'm a fan. The Farmers Market happens every Sunday from 8am to 1pm You can park for free for 2 hours in the Civic Center parking garage, enter off Rexford Drive. There has been plenty of parking every time I've gone, but the lower levels get filled up quickly. Just drive up a bit and you'll find a ton of spots. The only negative I can find of this Farmers Market is they need more seating. It's not wild because we always end up walking down the stairs by the police station/parking garage to eat whatever we purchase fresh. However it would be nice if they added some more tables by the live band to enjoy the market fully. That being said - Some highlights of the market: ~Live music! They need more tables and seats around the concert area but it is nice they have the live music. ~Crustee's! I love their pot pies! Highly recommended. ~Berry's Berries is a popular spot! Their strawberry juice is great and I grabbed a $6 bottle every time I've been there. ~Beverly Hills Cookies is great if you want some baked goodies to go. ~Several places sell freshly cut flower bunches for $10~15 which is perfect. I've bought an orchid from one vendor one week and a fresh bouquet another week. ~King's Road Coffee is where I have gotten my morning fix every week. ~Black Cat BBQ has friendly staff and delicious eats! ~Petting Zoo with the most adorable funny looking ducks, baby goats, baby rabbits, baby everything...ahhhhh, it's so darn cute. ~Every 3rd Sunday they have some extra crafting tables for kids.
