I've been going to Bill's barbershop for a couple years now. I usually get a haircut every three or four months so needless to say, I get my money's worth. I've never had a bad haircut. There's always a couple dogs laying around looking for pets which makes the waiting worth it. I get just the regular cut and I'm charged $25. Our first visit there was the Friday before Marine Corps Birthday, Veterans Day and my dad's birthday weekend. The barber was super hospitable and had a fun crowd of patrons. He gave my father his cut on the house and wouldn't accept a tip no matter how hard I tried. My dad isn't easily impressed but says we'll be going back next time. read more

Bill is excellent at his craft! He remembers how I like my hair and does a great job! His store is an American anchor! Normal cut runs at $18 and only cash is accepted in this old fashion styled all American barber shop. Here you can run into neighbors and friends talking of sports, hunting, and local news. Bill is friendly and welcomes all as a professional businessmen should. He knows EVERYONE in town, and still remembers how I like my haircut. I went here as a teen, then moved away for 5 years. Those 5 years I couldn't find anyone that could consistently cut my hair the way I wanted. Now that I'm back in the area I appreciate even more than ever old fashioned barbers like Bill. Bill has been cutting my hair for many years, and I've never been disappointed! After the first couple of cuts, where I explained the look I was after, Bill knows exactly what to do each time I visit. While you're in the chair, you can chat with Bill, or the other customers, or watch a huge HDTV on the wall. As with any Barber shop, you can enjoy some great conversation, and meet some fascinating people, just by striking up a conversation. On most days, Bill has another chair covered by Dan. Dan has cut my son's hair for many years now - I know, I'm partial to Bill, and would rather wait for Bill. But if Bill's chair is busy when you go in, Dan can usually take you right away. Hubby's barber retired, so it was time to find a new one. I read Yelp reviews for barbers and decided Bill's in Saline was the place to try next. I had walked by the door many times and seen a glimpse of the inside. It seemed like a good bet. I sent hubby with a photo of his favorite haircut. He protested. I said, "It'll make it a whole lot easier for the barber to understand exactly what you want. Women do it all the time!" He still didn't like the idea. But he showed the photo to Bill anyway. Bill said it was very helpful to have the photo. When hubby returned home, he had a very nice haircut that met with my approval. So we're all set with haircuts again. Bills barber shop is located in the heart of saline,MI. He said he's been cutting hair since he was 15 at his dads shop which is still in downtown Ann Arbor. He and his staff are very friendly, they get you in and out as quickly as they can. You don't even need to tell them what you want because they guess it correctly! read more

I'd give it 8 stars if I could. If you're looking for a fun, laid back haircut, Bill's is for you. They chatted with my kids and were positive and fun. Not to mention my son's hair has never looked better. I wish I'd have listen to the masses many years ago and become regulars then, it would have saved a lot of hair heart ache! Bill is so skilled that he was chatting with me and cutting my son's hair by feel, he wasn't even looking. Yet it's the best hair cut he's gotten in a solid year.
