Jenya is absolutely amazing, and I'm in love with her work. I just finished my second microblading appointment here (the touch-up), so I'm writing this with my new set of angry brows. For those who aren't familiar with the microblading process, the procedure consists of two sessions. You pay for both (the price of the second is technically included) after the first appointment. The first session takes about 2-2.5 hours, and the clinic takes their time to explain the steps to you very well. You tell Jenya the style you prefer, and she gives suggestions based on your face shape and her experience. The actual microblading doesn't hurt that much since they first apply an anaesthetic on your brows for about 30 minutes. The first time I saw my brows after microblading, it was honestly a bit shocking, even after I was told that they would initially be very bold. However, exactly like they said, the colour faded to about 50% after a week. I was pleased after that week (a little panicked during the week), and I know that I'll be happy after this week. Despite my scheduling hassles, they handled booking extremely well. It's essential that you book well in advance, since their schedule is full for two months. I asked them to call whenever they had a free slot, so I got my appointment and touch up a lot faster than I expected. I have no idea why they booked it that way, and didn't inform me, but I had anticipated getting one done after the other. They were able to find an available stylist, so I was happy with that, having never been and not having a preference of stylist. My hair turned out beautiful, seemingly. I left the salon feeling very good. But after washing my hair the first time and styling it myself, I noticed that it had barely even been trimmed. I still had split ends. I'm located in Alberta. After hearing nothing for nearly two weeks, I emailed them on September 29th to inquire about the delay. I received no response. I then called the spa on both September 30th and October 1st--each time being told someone would return my call that same day. That never happened. On October 2nd, I was finally told the product would ship unless I could pick it up--despite the fact that my order clearly indicated I was in Alberta. I requested they use FedEx or Purolator due to the ongoing Canada Post strike. They assured me they would. Instead, I received a tracking number the next day--for Canada Post. I called again on October 3rd and was told they wouldn't ship via courier because it was "too expensive." In other words, they knowingly chose to ship through a service impacted by a strike, after telling me they wouldn't. I requested a full refund and asked for email confirmation, which I still haven't received. The level of disorganization and lack of communication is astonishing. If you're thinking of ordering from them online--especially if you're out of province--I strongly suggest you don't. Based on my experience, they should not be offering online sales at all given how poorly they manage them.

The next thing, the owner shouts to me that she can't see me because her appointment walked in and has to take her first and explains that if I want to see her I will have to continue waiting until she finishes a full face hair removal, which takes 45 min. I've been threading for over 15yrs, let's be clear, not all her technicians (which I have tried in the past) are equally capable, some cut your skin when they thread, some presses so hard it's like ripping you skin off, and some can't shape eyebrows. This place is a Hit or Miss depending on who you get, go at your own risk.
