We recently used this cab service for a trip to the airport when leaving Billings and a trip home after returning. In both cases the taxi driver was nice, friendly, and professional. We called several days in advance to book the taxi when leaving. Our flight was very early in the morning and the dispatcher informed us that taxis were already booked for our 'time', but he offered us an alternate time, which we accepted. The taxi arrived right on time. We called from the airport after returning, and the taxi arrived within 20 minutes. This taxi company has served us well in the past which is why we continue using them. read more

The only way to get a cab in Billings, MT is by reserving a ride prior to needing the ride. No answering service outside business hours. You would have better luck with a ride share service. read more

They charged me 45.00 for a less then 8 min drive at 12 30 at night and I found out later it would have been less then 19.00 with Uber yellow cab are there's as far as I am concerned I recommend a boy cot on all yellow cab they deserve to be put out of bizzness read more

Needed a ride from the bar. Called just after 10. Come 1 am, I literally installed Uber and my ride was there in 5 minutes...

appointment only? Plus mail box is full. cannot get an early taxi in Billings,Mt.---------------

Tried to call and book a ride to airport and didn't ever receive a call back! This is very disappointing.

Usually this taxi and its drivers are reliable. HOWEVER that depends on whether the unreliable dispatcher happens to do his job and actually sends a taxi. ..... I waited nearly AN HOUR for a ride to the airport. I was highly inconvenienced to say the least. read more

I called twice and they said they were on the way, they never did show up. why is this cab company still in business?

I called to get a ride and the lady on the phone was very rude. I must have had bad service and she couldn't hear me but she just hung up. Tried calling back multiplied times with no answer. read more

I was picked up within the expected time. But it was by a driver who wore no mask and was not vaccinated, because he 'knew he was immune' to diseases like COVID. Can't a system that has such a high degree of public contact respect the need to NOT infect riders with a potentially fatal disease? read more

It wasn't good today because it would take over two hours for the cab to pick me and my mom up. And for them not to come to pick us up it ruined my mom's birthday today. We couldn't do what we wanted to do. read more

very rude when asked how long it would be for a ride was told can't tell you and if I did what are you going to do call me back in 30 minutes demanding my ride:( read more

Friendly, competent, driver. He unfortunately worked for folks who are inept at processing a credit card. My ride was less than 5 minutes. They required me to call the Yellow Cab office (from the back seat) and arranged a cc payment over the phone. They took my card # and we hung up. Early the next morning I was called and told my card didn't work. I called back and they guy who answered said he was not currently working and I would need to call another number. After 4 calls (to pay them) my payment finally went through. I asked for an emailed receipt, they took my email address, I never received a receipt. This whole situation was very poorly handled. If you need to pay for your taxi with a credit card you might try another taxi service. read more

I give zero stars to this sad excuse of a company I wanted picked up at 230 didn't show up till 3 then they charged me 50 dollars for two stops that are right next to eachother then charged me 1 dollar for every minute the drive waited for me I'm outrage with the poor customer service and lack of finding a solution the owner is pathetic told me they have done this for 100 years and havent changed there process also half way through my ride they detoured to pick another person up to drop them somewhere I'll never use this company read more

My cab to the airport was 20 minutes late, even though I had called for it the previous day. Despite being 20 minutes late, the driver still picked up and dropped up another fare, that was not on our way, without asking me, before taking me to the airport. Both the dispatcher that I called to reserve the cab and the dispatcher that called to tell me the cab was going to be 20 minutes late were surly and disrespectful. The driver asked me about my personal life. Is there anything else a cab company can even possibly do wrong that yellow cab didn't? The cab was no smoking, at least? read more

Like almost every other review states, THE DISPATCHERS ARE RUDE BEYOND BELIEF! The driver who picked me up in the evening and took me to my hotel called the dispatcher to set up a reservation for the next morning. The driver offered to do this since I told him that two different times I called to make a reservation and the phone just kept ringing. No one picked up even though they advertise as being open 24/7. Well, the dispatcher would not let the driver make a reservation for me! He kept telling the driver that I had to call myself and refused my driver's repeated attempt to reserve a pick up for me. Plus the dispatcher was very rude to the driver (I could hear their conversation on the cab's radio.) What's also puzzling is that Yelp does not "recommend" 19 other reviews which rate this company mostly one star. The rating displayed in the review is not accurate. It should be a one star review at best. read more

I would like to say, I hate writing bad reviews, but when necessary, I will. The cab that I requested never let me know that they were there. Okay whatever... Called in to the dispatcher and was treated totally unfairly. Just walk home then... Called in to talk to a a manager, got hung up on. Called a couple more times and said they would report me to the police for harassing them. Thanks yellow cab. Actually have used your business a lot and the dispatcher said he didn't need my business, well you lost it. read more

Let's start with getting the cab to your location; we were told half an hour and they'd be there. 45 minutes later we called and they said 15 more minutes. Thankfully they actually showed after only another half an hour. Unfortunately I stead of taking us to the airport to get to our flighy, he decided to take us to pick up a second fare which was only 20 minutes out of the way. As for the driver himself? 400 lbs of meth mouthed "arthritic" "please open my door for me because I can't get into the driver seat myself" joy. FFS. read more

I called Yellow cab for a trip to the airport in the morning, but they can't get me there in time for my flight. Why bother. I will walk the 4 miles to the airport. what kind of place is this?????? read more

Are looking for quality timely service and a reliable company? Better rent a car or call a friend! Terrible customer service and waited over an hour for them to show up. They have no protocols in place- when they pull up to the airport its whomever runs to the car the fastest. Better have cash as well or they make you call into their dispatcher with all your credit info. This would be a great area to start a taxi service. read more

I called Yellow cab to pick me up at my house and was told there would be around a 45 minute wait which I was fine with. 1 hour 20 minutes goes by I call the dispatcher back and was told that I was the next on the list. 25 more minutes go by and I get a call from the dispatcher that my cab arrived (she sounded irritated, can't imagine why). The cab driver was nice enough the car looked like it had seen better days. As I approached the cab I realized that I wasn't the only passenger, there was somebody (I'm assuming going to a destination in the same direction) already in the backseat. I don't mind sharing a cab with someone "IF" I'm given some warning ahead of time or asked. Perhaps I'm being picky on this point but it matters to me. Next time I'll just call Uber. read more

If you can get another ride from ANYWHERE else I would. Both times I needed a ride I had to wait almost 2 hours for the cab to get there. The dispatcher always says 20 minutes, he'll be there in 20 minutes. Waiting wouldn't be so bad if the dispatcher didn't lie about how long it would be. Plus she's just rude. read more

It's a cryin shame that this town has to put up with the RUDE no customer service this company provides. They may have added some shiny new vans but the rest is the same o same o. It starts with the dispatch and this person should be fired. read more

0 stars the worse cab place I have ever had to deal with. Do not I repeat do not do business with this company under any circumstance.

I've always found the drivers to be very friendly and helpful, the dispatchers less so. I've never experienced some of the situations mentioned in the other reviews, except once when the dispatcher did not answer the phone when we called from the airport. Fortunately we saw a cab picking someone else up and the driver picked us up. Since they got the new vans, things have improved considerably. In talking to the drivers, I discovered one of their problems is getting enough drivers so often they are shorthanded. One of the drawbacks of living in a small city. read more

Terrible... Just terrible. Everyone was so rude. They tell you they will be there in 20 or 30 min. 1 hour later after you call back they inform you they haven't even told the driver you needed a ride. I asked around town and people say the same thing. I can't wait for Uber to put this dog shit company out of business. read more

Great ride last night. Cool driver in a fedora, tipped him $9 in appreciation. Today I call three hours in advance to schedule a cab, they take all my info down and tell me they'll pick me up at 3 PM sharp. At noon... It's now 4:30 PM and somehow my reservation just disappeared. I'm late for work now. And extremely frustrated. Terrible schedule management. I more than took care of my end, and they could be costing me my job. Highly unimpressed and frustrated. read more

Don't call Yellow Cab unless you have time. Lotsa time! Called for a cab & was told 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I'm still waiting. Dispatcher said "oh yeah, I had to switch things around". Eeeer! read more

I got picked up in a limo from the Walmart back to the truck stop!!! No extra charge for the limo!!! Well all I can say is wow! I have use the yellow cab outta billings about a half dozen times and have always been on time and professional. A nice thing is they tell you how much it's gonna cost when u call. I have been to some cab companies and the driver just rake you over the coals. But for a small town as billings it was nice touch. read more

Billings Montana dispatcher was pretty nice gave me a wait time of 25-30 minutes, The cabdriver was equally as nice.

This is absolutely the rudest, most disrespectful people working for yellow cab! The dispatcher will say he's sending a cab, but if you voice your concerns then no cab will show up, but yet every time you call dispatch to check on time, he swears it's on the way. It's a game to him and it's ridiculous!!!! read more

The service on a Saturday actually arrived sooner than it has in the past and my 1 star isn't necessarily for them it's more for my protest for uber. Or lyft. This driver was loyal to YC and he's done this for 30 years he kept saying and repeated that billings didn't have the market for uber. He's dead wrong. 98% of the 18-40yr olds would use uber. And 50% of the 40-60yr olds would use it. He said it would only be busy 3 hours a night 3 nights a week. Sure. That's only when billings is busy. But uber would get allllll of it. And also the majority of the other business. People want cab drivers competing for their business, to get to the location first, and to do it on their cell phone and to be cheap. None of this dispatch saying they will call you when they get there... Wtf is that. Billings DUI rate would go down very noticeably with the addition of cabs from the 21st century. read more

Suxs dixs. They're the only cab company I could find in billings. On the expensive side as well. Enough said.

This company is the worst. I have never dealt with a company that has such low standards for customer service. Very rude dispatch, not to mention I called over an hour in advance and was scheduled a pick up at 7, called at 720 to see what the deal was and the dispatch said they would send someone.. HELLO that's what you were supposed to do 20 mins ago and now here I am at 737 still waiting. Do not call them if you don't have time, beyond unimpressed read more

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. Never have I been so appalled by customer service. Around 8 PM tonight I asked to be picked up and taken 3 miles away. When told it "takes 5 minutes," I asked if he implied to the drive itself or the time it would take to get to me. The response I received was AWFUL... Yelling at me he responded, "I TOLD YOU FIVE MINUTES! SO IT WILL BE FIVE MINUTES! ALRIGHT!?!?" And immediately HUNG UP ON ME. I asked two simple, short questions and received an angry response I will never forget. Although the people of Billings, MT warmed my heart, this one horrid experience ensured I will not revisit. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. IF THEIR DISPATCHERS ARE THIS TERRIBLE, WHAT ARE THEIR DRIVERS LIKE? I signed up for Yelp.com tonight to document this experience. read more
