Doctors are excellent, but the support staff and billing process have been extremely frustrating…read more I received a "First and Final Notice" for a bill more than two years after my visit. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach the billing department. When I called the office for assistance, they were unable to help and simply transferred me back to billing, where no one answers the phone. To make matters worse, the note on the bill threatened collections. I attempted to pay the balance online, but the Phreesia payment system froze and would not complete the transaction. At this point, I have tried every available option: The billing department does not answer calls. The office staff cannot answer billing questions. Calls are routed back to billing with no resolution. The online payment system is not functioning. The physicians may provide good care, but the administrative and billing experience has been unacceptable. If patients cannot get answers to billing questions or make payments through the available channels, there are serious organizational issues that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, this experience has earned a well-deserved one-star review..

I googled chiropractic care in the area and found Archetype had good reviews. Booked an appointment for the next day figuring I had nothing to lose by getting treatment, I was just hoping to be able to ride in a cart and cheer on my buddies and didn't really expect to play anymore golf on the trip. I found Archetype to be a very professional health care establishment. Dr. John (Palmer) and his staff spent approximately 90+ minutes using various techniques on my back. I was still sore that evening, but seemed to be a little more comfortable. The next morning I woke up feeling really good. I was able to play 36 holes that day, carefully of course, but without pain. The following day I comfortably played another round. Dr. John's work was nothing short of miraculous, I'm so fortunate to have found Archetype, saved my golf trip for sure!

She appears to be an advocate for more equitable treatment for women of color in healthcare so I had to try her for myself. I decided to have a well woman exam with her. I actually drove by her office when I was trying to find it, but I was able to turn around relatively quickly and find her building. It's a brick building on the corner. Check in was okay. The front desk receptionist seemed confused on whether I had a copay or not, but I believe she was still training so I could understand that. Now, Dr. Skanes was not a "fluffy" doctor, but she seems knowledgeable, which is more important to me. I do feel she warmed up more as our visit continued.
