To bad there is not a negative star. Hired this guy to build a race motor and after 22 months I had to get an attorney to get my money back, deposit of over 17K. Now I will say he did send my deposit back, but only after I spent thousands on a attorney. I asked three time at lest to return my deposit after I knew for sure I was a rip off. Had he just refunded when I asked I would've just went on my way. But when the case was going to a judge, only then did he send me a check Even though there isn't must bad about this builder, you can only come to the conclusion that he does this rip quite often. Moved to the area a few years ago and have been trying to find a new shop to work on our families vehicles, Not just the simple oil changes and regular maint but the more complex issues you get with older vehicles. Important info is, I was a track and wheeled vehicle mechanic in the Army for 8 years so I have more than the avg persons knowledge when it comes to working on vehicles. I have a rear differential in my truck that was previously worked on under warranty by the dealer, most dealers are over priced and usually under preform as proven by my rear differential that is going out again. After explaining to the 2 employees my issue with Bill listening, that I have a low speed knock coming from the rear axle that is only noticeable under 20 mph. Without even seeing the truck he tells me I have a bad wheel bearing. Not feeling so good about this shop after this comment. I ask if someone can go on a test drive and Bill happily offers to go. We get into my truck and Bill proceeds to literally take off up 113N to 45-50 mph and says he hears nothing. I remind him of what I said in the shop, and he finally admits I might know more than he thought. We switch seats and I go down a back road and I show him what the noise is while going about 15mph, he admits to hearing it. Back to the shop, I leave the truck for them to look into. Get a call a couple hours later it's done. And all they come up with is a break pad needed lube and they checked the driveline u bolts and then didn't hear the noise on test a drive by the mechanic not bill. I'm betting he just blasted down the road like Bill did, hope he enjoyed the ride that cost me $250 On my drive home I hear the noise as usual and decide that Bill cannons is not a shop I would recommend to anyone that I respect. So back on the hunt for a reputable shop with knowledgeable technicians. read more

Bill Cannons positive reviews are written by people that broke down going to the beach or leaving to go home on weekends. Desperate times of need can blind you of whom your dealing with. This guy is a horrible person/ business owner. He has no moral compass, but he will quote the Bible to you. Only one of his workers is compentent and Bill has been in business for a long time! Look at his shop compared to ones down the road. Bills personal cars that he owns/sells at the shop say it all. His parking lot has the most undesirable cars in history, C3 corvettes, a gas engine Excursion, 3000gt automatic and a Cadillac with a flat tire with fogged out headlights that's been sitting there for 3 months. Bill probably inherited the land or bought it for 5g 40yrs ago. The shop is run by incompetent family members. Bills son/service manager can't even drive a manual transmission. I walked into the shop just to see his niece/daughter I don't know, eating a lollipop with rubber gloves on. The book keepers haircut is business in the front and rocking in the back. Ive only ever seen that on a man/boy. I guess that gets Bills engine going. It's a special family, their tree must run straight up without any branches I don't know. I paid him in full about $3400+ to just install a transmission/clutch this was just labor. I spent $5800 on my parts, that I ordered from reputable companies. He was unable to install my clutch properly. He told me to come pick my car up, I said "no I want to know why its not working". So I wanted him to diagnosis it, he started the job now finish it. Then he quit, my payments didn't. I spent 2700 at his shop just in labor to get my exhaust and power steering rack installed. I had to call the cops for advice on how to deal with this guy. I ended up picking my car up with a tow truck, with the police sitting down the road. He never let me inspect my car. He got in my face when I came to pick up my car, so I asked him politely to back up. I paid him in cash which is what Bill demanded, just to get my car out of his possession. I'm worried that malicious things were done to my car so I'm going to send it to a honest mechanic. The reason why my transmission/clutch doesnt work will be determined and I don't care what it costs to diagnosis what Bill Cannon couldn't. Bill is a degenerate that provoked me and harassed me. Bill tried to get me to loose my cool so he could screw me over. I never said anything but please and thank you's to Bill and his family, and he still screwed me over. Bill Cannon was baiting me so he could blame everything on me, then wash his hands of the job. He called me from his employees phone to provoke me. I never overreacted or acted in a disrespectful manner to his disrespectful ways. I paid about $3300 for just LABOR for a clutch job that wasn't done properly. His service manager/son can't even drive a manual transmission, great parenting! Jeremy must be rocking that 3000gt auto? How does the service manager/ bills son not know how to operate a clutch??? I asked Bill if knew about Ken Block because he also owned a 5cyl high pressure turbo car and then built one for his daughter a day before he died. Bill had/has no idea who Ken Block was but he still decided to judge him as a bad father. Bill said "Ken Block wasn't a good father to his daughter". Ken Block traveled the country/world with his kids. Bill then proceed to claim he was a better person/father with zero understanding of who Ken Block was, the arrogance of this guy is mind blowing. This local auto shop services mechanical repairs, parts and oil and does tires . I used this shop a few years back to fix my Toyota that lost its brakes and needed immediate repairs. I called, this time, as I needed tires and they found the ones I needed and ordered. Other shops would have taken 2 weeks. The owner, Bill, worked on Saturday to get them put on to get me back home. They sell everything that Napa sells and have great family friendly service. I got the tires for about the same price as discounted shops without the need of any coupons and fast service. Long story, try to make short. Purchased a (new-ish, low mileage) Chevy Cruze from Preston Dodge Jeep, Millsboro in 2019. Dec 2021 needed repairs to the cooling system, had work done at a shop near where I live in Baltimore MD. Post repairs, check engine light and losing power. Took car to Preston's shop; ran diagnostics and said a specific machine was needed for additional diagnostics. Advised I go to the Chevy dealership. My lovely parents suggested I try their shop, Bill Cannon's. On a holiday weekend not only were they able to fit me in, asses the problem and repair (turned out the hoses from the earlier coolant repair were not properly reattached). I own an F250 diesel truck that had an AC job completed in St. Petersburg Florida. While driving north to Delaware, my AC failed to function correctly. Because I had the work done at a NAPA auto care facility in Florida I was able to segue and contact a NAPA auto care facility in Selbyville. I was connected to Bill Cannon's garage. Jeremy, was the man that answered the phone. Personable and professional, he was able to squeeze me in for a Friday appointment. The garage is excellent! Nice waiting area for customers, wi-fi and clean restroom! Best part- super great technicians. Yeah I'm going to have to say a 700 dollar bill for having a hole from an oil pressure sensor filled with silicone and new plug wires is kind of ripping people off. My parents can't afford to have places like this take advantage of them. Like Joshua, I almost got ripped off. Am a senior and had this garage do whatever my car needed, oil changes mostly. This time the violent shaking my car did they told me was due to steering control arms ($500) plus alignment, and I was suspicious.. Also needed new tires ($1200). Took it to Atlantic Auto Bethany and they inspected all and reported I needed new tires only ($749). Same Cooper tires. Saved a bundle! Watch out for these guy!!! read more

This is not a normal repair oil change shop . They have a machine shop get ready race cars for the track . rebuild or swap engines and trans . The crew are car guys and knowable even when I bring in a car no body as seen or worked on. I gave them the factory book gave them the parts and they got it done .I call BS on anybody saying it's a bad Shop it's one of the best.even out of state brings there race cars too get prepared read more
