I refuse to eat crap food, and I would never in a million years expect my dogs to eat garbage…read moreeither. Lucky for me, Pet Lover's has the exact same philosophy. They only carry high quality foods. Stuff you would never find at the chain places. One of my dogs has some major food allergies and has to have gluten free and I can find a plethora of grain free foods here. What's more amazing than the quality of food, is the quality of customer service. The owner and all of his staff are some of the most AMAZING people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with! They can tell you how the dog foods are cooked and why one method is better than the other. Or why one brand might be a better fit that another. Or that certain brands are simply a marketing company (coughcoughbluebuffalocoughcough) and have zero interest or control over the quality of food and your pet's health. The owner remembered us after not living in the area for 4 years and returning as a customer once we moved back and treated us like family as he always had. Amazing store and amazing people running it. You'll find: -quality dog food and products. -pet carriers -quality cat food and products -small critter supplies -fish and fish stuff -basically everything you will need for 4 legged kids If you care about your pet you need to come here and get educated about the food that you are feeding them. Support local. Check this place out, you will NOT be sorry!

Found this great little pet store while exploring the area. We are really picky about our pets…read moresnacks and eats so it was awesome to see he carried Fromms food AND Fromms treats. We get the food all the time but had never seen the treats! Grabbed a pack of the Parmesan cheese flavored for the girls. We also grabbed a bag of Bil Jack treats for them and I got the cats some spray cat nip for their new tree. All of that was just $25! I was totally impressed. The owner of the store was there and he was so friendly and welcoming. I totally would stop in here again... and even make the hour drive to visit him and his store. I love supporting small businesses and this one is well worth the support!

Came here to purchase a leopard gecko. Prices were okay for the items needed. The store was a bit…read moreshort staffed in the pet area so it took a bit to get someone to help. They offered a little bit of advice on care. A good experience if you do your research ahead of time and know what you want. Depending on the animal, staff knowledge can be limited. I don't recommend buying crickets here. They are very strict with the counting and then in transport some usually don't make it and then the animals won't eat.

I tend to not beat people up for being inexperienced. But on this I have no choice. My dog has…read morenever bitten anyone in her life and she is five years old. I took daisy in for nail trim only. And while I know it can be difficult to work with dogs. I do expect them to have knowledge of what they are doing. The employee trimmed the nails and caught one of the quicks. And that caused my daisy to jump. And then two seconds later. Caught another quick. And then another quick. Finally after the fourth quick that was clipped daisy reached her head back and snapped at the employee. I said would someone please help her out. The other two staff members just stood there. Neither moved to help. I was two seconds away from coming through the swinging doorway and helping. I think this is a learning experience for the salon staff members. Help when a fellow employee needs help. The other learning experience would be to get better training for the salon staff. To recognize when they clip too short. The quick will get snipped. She did it once. So should have realized this dog has long quicks. Maybe don't cut as short. I do not blame my dog for snapping at a salon person after the fourth clipping. She was scared it would keep happening.
