I couldn't find where it was coming from, but it wasn't too bad (just a few drips while stopped getting gas). I was still panicking though, thinking it could easily get worse if it was an oil cooler hose or fitting. I looked up the next Harley dealer on my route and found that Twister City was right on my way. I stopped in, thinking there was no way they would take time to look at it. What they did though was unheard of in the Harley dealership business, from my experience. The service manager himself started looking around and eventually pulled up the boot on the clutch cable. I thought "Why is this guy looking at the clutch cable?" but watched as he continued. He then messed with a little open ended hose on top of the transmission, and explained that a mud dauber had clogged it up which caused transmission oil to be pushed up through the clutch cable where it dripped out at the front of the engine near the oil cooler. The whole process took him about 15 seconds. He pushed the bike on into the shop and topped off the transmission oil then proceeded to make sure my tires were at the proper pressure and checked all the other standard safety items. 10 minutes or so later he pushed the bike up near the exit door and said I was ready. I asked where to go to pay my bill and they said (wait for it) "You don't owe us anything, glad to help." I was flabbergasted. It's not just about the money, I would have happily paid a lot for going from panic mode to finding out exactly what the issue was and having it fixed so quickly, as well as the additional service. They knew I was from Oklahoma and that it's highly unlikely that I'd be a regular customer, but they definitely have a fan for life. I am literally overwhelmed with appreciation for that kind of good old-fashioned helpfulness from a business; especially a Harley Davidson dealer. 5000 stars for Twister City Harley Davidson. Absolutely amazing.

It took eight months to get the motorcycle back, and when we did, the paint was done incorrectly and the bike wouldn't even turn over. We brought it back, hoping they'd make things right -- instead, it took another two months. When we finally picked it up again, the brake lights didn't work, the shift lever was placed higher than the primary cover, and the levers and grips had all been moved. The bike was still not properly repaired. The owner, Paul, was extremely unprofessional throughout the entire process. When we tried to address the issues, he became rude, dismissive, and even mocked me. He refused to let us start the bike before leaving his shop, and said he was done working on it -- despite never fixing it correctly in the first place. After months of waiting and thousands of dollars tied up in insurance repairs, we're left with a bike that still isn't right. I would never recommend Savage Cycles to anyone. Their lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for their customers is beyond unacceptable

I ordered $1700 of accessories, to be installed by the dealer. I asked for a stereo system for the batwing fairing. I explained that I do not need an iPod dock as I do not like ipods, but all I really need is FM Stereo. I was sold a Hog Tunes unit for over $500 that I was told would have the stereo built in to the back of the speaker unit and has a control box that sits on my handle bars. I was told that this unit was "self contained" When I picked up the bike (a full day after when it was promised, I found there is no FM stereo in the HogTunes unit, and that without adding an iPod or my phone (I do not trust my $600 Galaxy S4 to the 50 cent Velcro on the cheap plastic "control box") it does not produce any audio from this "self contained" unit. I attempted to speak to Hank, the installer about this and he told me "Well, that's what it is, so if you don't like it, I guess that is where we are" and then walked out of the shop away from me and went behind the building somewhere. Simon, my sales guy came out to talk to me and while we were trying to decide what to do about this Hank walked by and told us that it is time to close and he wants to leave for the weekend. I understand that mistakes are made, but it is how we address them that makes the difference. I was furious at how I was treated by Hank and how he dismissed me. It was clear that I was an inconvenience to him. I no longer trust him to install the saddlebags and sissy bar that he has backordered. I will NEVER use this place for service again. As an American Legion Rider and the web admin for 8 local ALR sites, I will make sure my experience is shared. I find it ridiculous that I paid over $500 for a 50 watt speaker that I can get online for less than $300. I can barely hear it at 60mph. I was also told that the batwing that was ordered would include the mounting hardware and the "inner shell" and would have the finished look like they do on the Vaquero or the Nomad. It did not. It only had the outer shell, leaving the inside without a dashboard. The badwing was not adjusted securely. The 4 bolts that provide adjustment were loose and I had to pull over on the side of the road to tighten them with an allen wrench to keep the batwing from knocking around as I went down the road. The installer did not offer to adjust anything or go over the operation of anything when I picked up the bike.

JJ came over and asked if he could help. We shook hands and parted OK. Before leaving I asked another (older) employee directions. He happened to be the owner with another interest, craft beer. We hit it off immediately, chatted for quite awhile over many topics, and I left with a positive feeling of my visit. Also found a 2016 bike for a good price which I'll discuss with them again.
