The good thing about this place is the charm and decor of it being a gallery/cafe. It has a load of pictures and art that are for sale around the place as well as a few tables for people to enjoy a cup of whatever takes their fancy. They also serve bagels and some DELICIOUS looking cakes! I managed to resist and just had a soy flat white. The coffee tasted good....not mind blowing as I think they soy milk was different to others I had tasted and was a little bit botter....still decent....just not mind blowing. I would say this is more of a grab a coffee and have a chat with a mate kind of place rather than a working coffee shop. It feels very homely like you are in someone's living room and does not offer a lot of tables ideal for working with plugs etc. Ill be back but not with the laptop :)

Stumbled upon the coolest boutique cafe in Digbeth. Cranked Custom Cycles is Birmingham's first…read morecustom bicycle store and cafe - how awesome is that!! Although I know absolutely nothing about bicycles I really like the cafe side of things - it is super small making for a chilled out vibes and what's great there is a very comfy couch! There are some funky bikes dotted around the cafe which are really awesome and adds to the vibrant store front. The selection of cakes on offer look rather yummy but we decided on the red velvet cake (which was sooo good) and a cup of tea - perfect combination. I love the coffee table in the middle of the store, there are some great books and magazines for your reading pleasure (it also make for a good photo). I would definitely recommend checking out this place, it seems like a hidden gem which people don't really know about and the vibes are uber cool. Look forward to visiting again soon. Note to self - try out the lemonade as it looked deliciously refreshing!

They are completely incompetent and lazy. I ordered some jackets online for my family, in several sizes to try. Kept 4, returned 6. They processed the refund at three different prices - for the same jacket in different sizes. When I pointed out their error I just got a "we refunded this correctly" email. I'm now 12 emails in to this conversation and they're still doubling down. No attempt to explain why they're applied 3 different prices to the same jacket. No attempt to explain why the difference between my original payment and the refund is more than the cost of the 4 jackets I've kept. Just insulting "I've looked into this..." emails when they clearly haven't looked into it and can't be bothered. Lazy, rude and incompetent. It's terrible that their shop staff are being undermined by head office like this.

Store is absolutley massive and has a large range of goods. Has some great offers on coats and tents, which is ideal for family holidays as we love to go camping. I would recommend visiting here if your looking at buying tents or anything to do with the outdoors. Staff can be a bit useless but where dont you get that.

Albany cycles on albany road is easily noticeable from the outside as being a really cool bike…read moreshop. However i felt more than just dissappointed when i went in looking for a new bike. The first problem is that the shop is tiny, and they dont have a super large selection in any way. They have a few bits and bobs that are specialised such as light weight handle bars etc. The staff are alright, nothing to shout about really, well this is from my experience. Maybe i caught them on a bad day,but i thought they could have been a bit more forthcoming. The major gripe i have is the size of the shop, you can barely turn around in there if there are 5 people in at once. Yet alone sell bikes. Which is hard to do when you can fit around 7 in the shop at one time. Other people i know have been here and said they were helpful so maybe its worth me going back to see if they are, i can the amend my reivew. But at present i would steer well clear. Prices are steep too. I would recomend online purchasing or even one of the other bike shops in coventry, Hawks factory cycles is one, or even the one down gosford street.

I've had a couple of problems with mu bike and on all occasions they have done a great repair job and very quickly. Yes, the shop was small, but the good news is that I think they are moving to bigger premises soon. My guess is that this maybe their first shop and as such it would be surprising if they moved into a warehouse straight away. The difference between these guys and 'online' is that you deal with a real person, and I always prefer that. You get to see exactly what you are buying and I prefer that. You can ask questions. No complaints, it's great to have a bike shop so close, and on this side of town. It'd be a drag to cross town for what ever I wanted - bike wise. Keep up the good work folks!
