But if it's Christmas that you're looking for, Christmas you will get. So impressive, from completely intact boxes of tiny glass ornaments to 1950s Santas and reindeer. Also, their antique Easter offerings are legit. Although jam-packed with stuff (little to no furniture, it's all knick-knacks, I believe), so much so that it's hard to take it all in, I think even Marie Kondo herself would find immense joy in something here. Note: as others mention, this store is way more organized and all items are clean and seem to be in good condition (unlike some of the other shops on the block). I love this place. It's a huge place with many many different things. You never know what you…read morewill find. I've been visiting this gallery for decades, and there are new things all the time. Ellen and Gary, who run the place, are artists as well as sellers, and are always so pleasant and helpful. I've seen things from great furniture, to books, records, tons of jewelry, lamps and decor items, clothing, paintings and art, things for home and garden, and even those old rusty bits of who knows what. Toys, renovation items, even gorgeous old doors and windows. Vintage and modern craft and sewing items, mannequins, and even, for years, a full sized, fortune telling, Coney Island type, animatronic machine. And if they don't have it this week, try next week.

Came by here towards the end of our day of "antiquing" in Cold Spring. Having gone to several…read morestores to just browse around, we came here with the same idea. Overall, when you go to multiple stores like these they all tend to appear similar, but what set this place apart was the proprietor. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and sold us on a beautiful old mirror we were evaluating. His knowledge and experience were vast and he was able to thoroughly explain to us everything about this particular piece (timeframe, where it came from, where he came across it, and how he restored the back part for hanging purposes). His prices are also reasonable and if you're interested, he's willing to help push you out of the "maybe" category and into the "buy" with regards to the price Plenty of fantastic items to choose from ranging From old knives (army style) to old pieces of furniture (my wife is still thinking about going back for a rocking chair). This place isn't as big and doesn't have as many items as some of the other shops but it does some nice quality looking stuff and an owner willing to take time to explain it to you (didn't encounter that at many stores)

At $6 entry fee, somewhere between a ripoff and a scam. In and out in 10 minutes. Please don't waste your time and money. The stores on main st are more interesting.
